If you pay from bank account, there is no fee. You can deposit money in your PayTM cash account and if you pay with this “cash”, the payment is sent faster. (1-2 days). This is like an extra reward for just paying your bills.

Romanian Poetry from its Origins to the Present is the most comprehensive bilingual representation of Romanian poetry (English translation side by side with the Romanian original), starting with the earliest discovered poems, to contemporary poets – some of them born only a couple of decades ago. Different to previous editions, this is a critical-reference volume, containing critical notes about each one of the 442 poets included!

The volume begins with “the poetry before there were poets”, a couple “timeless” anonymous ballads, and after them with the first poet who published in Romanian, The Metropolitan Dosoftei (his work, Psaltirea/The Pslalter, is from somewhere after 1650).

Such a broad anthology, will necessarily include the best known Romanian poets, such as Mihai Eminescu, Vasile Alecsandri, Alexadru Macedonski, Ion Minulescu, George Coșbuc, Octavian Goga, Tudor Arghezi, Vasile Voiculescu, Lucian Blaga, Magda Isanos, George Bacovia, Ion Barbu, Nicolae Labiș. However, the poets from before this “classical” period of Romanian literature are represented, perhaps for the first time, to an English reading audience – such as Ion Budai Deleanu, Ion Heliade Rădulescu, Elena Văcărescu, Grigore Alexandrescu, Dimitrie Bolintineanu, among others.

To sample just a few poets from each of the other significant historical/stylistic periods – the 1960 generation is represented through Nichita Stanescu, Ana Blandiana, Adrian Paunescu, Radu Gyr, Marin Sorescu, Ion Caraion, Nina Cassian, for example. The other group are poets who emigrated, some of whom (though not all) have been out of scope, due do both physical and psychological distance, for Romanian literary critics and ordinary readers alike. They may live in France, Spain, Italy or Germany, or in far flung places (from a Romanian standpoint) such as Canada, The United States of America, Australia and New Zealand. You won’t break the bank, but you can earn regular money, gift cards or products to save your household enough to be able to save some money for other goals like travel or family gifts. For example I like to redeem my survey rewards in Amazon gift cards, then I use these to buy household items for free.

Tip: in general you get a bigger reward value in gift cards than in cash / PayPal.

In the summer of 2019 I started to get this error: “connection to server pop.gmail.com was reset”.

I use Windows 10 and the latest version of Thunderbird, which now it’s 60.9.0. I also use AVG Free Antivirus, current version 19.8.3108.

These are the solution that worked for me.

The last solution is a definitive solution.

1. Deactivate Email Shield in AVG.

I searched Google for a solution and I arrived on some forums that related the error to a conflict with AVG antivirus.

It was suggested to deactivate the Email Shield under “Web & Email” basic protection, which solved the problem temporary.

I also noted, that I reactivated the Email Shield and restarted to computer, the issue was also solved.

But if you shutdown the computer, when you start it again, the issue reappears.

2. Clear AVG installation and reinstall AVG Free Antivirus.

I downloaded AVG Clear for my software version. Then, I reinstalled AVG Free Antivirus.

This solution worked for me, but just one time. Then the issue reappeared.

3. Set ‘network.dns.disableIPv6’ to True in Thunderbird config editor.

In Thunderbird – Tools – Options – Advanced – General – Config editor. When you click on Config editor you are prompted to accept the risk of editing these configuration settings. Click “Ok” to accept it, then you will see the Config editor window.

At the top search for ipv6, then double click the entry for network.dns.disableIPv6 to set it to True.

This solved the issue permanently. See the help images below.

I found this solution by Dave Trapmore in Google forum. He also suggested that you can also set ‘network.dns.ipv4OnlyDomains’ to ‘gmail.com’ to make it work.
