North American viewers can now access the film on Hoopla, the digital service of Midwest Tape. Their service allows public libraries access to digital content across North America. In their own words: “They’ve cultivated a growing passion for evolving the public library experience through the years and update their content weekly.” Glad to have them onboard! From what we know, all you need is a library card and then you can view the film across a range of devices for free. Sounds like a great service.

We thought this day would never come… “Love/Loss” is now available to watch at home via streaming […]

We thought this day would never come… “Love/Loss” is now available to watch at home via streaming services. We have signed up a great selection of partners, with more to come. It’s going to take a few months for the film to make its way through the various on-boarding processes and feature on the platforms, so please be patient. We will announce new availability as and when we are able (there are restrictions on what we can say during this period).

It has taken a very long time, but they say that good things come to those that wait!

For those of you new to the film, you can read more about its making and find out about the incredible cast on this website. We hope to be able to offer some downloads and freebies soon, but these are not yet ready. Sorry, we don’t have DVDs to sell – the only way to watch the film is via streaming.

Meanwhile, we are hard at work setting up Facebook, Instagram and YouTube pages. We have a huge amount of photos and videos, as well as an equally large amount of stories and anecdotes on the making of the film. We will be sharing those on a regular (hopefully daily) basis on Instagram, with further updates on Facebook. As and when we release video clips, we will load those up on our YouTube site.

It is our sincere hope that you will enjoy what we have made – it was a labour of love. It almost broke us, but not quite! We are film fans who have made documentaries and factual programmes, but always wanted to tell an original story. And so we did. With very little money but with plenty of goodwill. “Love/Loss” isn’t for everyone and you may be disappointed – that’s fine – but equally we hope that the story will really resonate with some of you and that you will have an emotional connection with the film. If we manage to entertain just a few people, then we have achieved our aim.

“Love/Loss” is out there now for all to see… and that makes us very happy!

Thank you
