			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>David Risley dot com shows us how to create a custom page template in our wordpress themes.  This can be very handy if you are trying to create a custom look for a particular page.   Like for instance, say you want a wordpress landing page without any sidebars well, this would be a tutorial you definitely want to take a look at:</p>
<p>All WordPress themes have a file called <em>page.php</em>. This is your template file for all pages you have on your blog (remember, pages are distinctly different than posts). The <em>page.php</em> file is your default page template. To create a new one, just open that file in any text editor then “save as” a different file name. In my case, I named the template for my sales page <em>signup_page.php</em>.</p>
<p>Now, at the very top of this new file, you’re going to want a block of PHP code as follows:</p>
<blockquote><p>&lt;?php<br />
/*<br />
Template Name: [your page name here]</p>
<p>*/<br />
?&gt;</p></blockquote>
<p>This is a PHP comment. Leave the “Template Name:” in place, but you need to change the name of the page. Once you have done that, upload<br />
this new file to your blog theme’s folder.</p>
<p>Then, in WordPress, when you go to add or edit a page, scroll way down and you’ll see a setting for “Page Template”. You should see your new page template listed in the dropdown, using the name you entered above. To the right, you can see what my dropdown list looks like in my own WordPress admin panel. I have many different custom page templates in my system, all for different purposes.</p>
<p>Here is the original tutorial:</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I love wordpress and I use this CMS on most the sites I develop / own.&nbsp; I also love all of the free themes that are available...however, I don't like all the annoying footer.php encrypted links that come with those free themes.&nbsp; It is also my belief that Google may not like those spam links either.</p>
<p>Fortunately for me, I'm not the only one who feels this way and there are quite a few good tutorials about how to crack wordpress footer.php and I present these tutorials on how to crack the footer.php links:</p>
<p>First of all each footer.php has it own challenges and not every crack with work on every theme so:</p>
<p>1) For those with code that looks simliar to this:</p>
<blockquote><p>&lt;Script Language='Javascript'&gt;<br />&lt;!--<br />document.write(unescape('%3C%64%69%76%20%69%64%3D%22%66%6F%6F%74%65%72%22%3E%0A%3C%70%3E%69%50%68%6F%6E%65%20%55%6E%6C%65%61%73%65%64%20%54%68%65%6D%65%20%2D%20%44%65%73%69%67%6E%65%64%20%62%79%3A%20%3C%61%20%68%72%65%66%3D%22%68%74%74%70%3A%2F%2F%77%77%77%2E%69%70%68%6F%6E%65%73%66%74%77%2E%63%6F%6D%22%20%74%69%74%6C%65%3D%22%69%50%68%6F%6E%65%20%52%65%76%69%65%77%73%22%3E%69%50%68%6F%6E%65%20%52%65%76%69%65%77%73%3C%2F%61%3E%3C%62%72%20%2F%3E%20%53%70%65%63%69%61%6C%20%54%68%61%6E%6B%73%20%54%6F%3A%20%3C%61%20%68%72%65%66%3D%22%68%74%74%70%3A%2F%2F%77%77%77%2E%69%61%70%70%65%72%2E%63%6F%6D%2F%22%20%74%69%74%6C%65%3D%22%69%50%68%6F%6E%65%20%41%70%70%73%22%3E%69%50%68%6F%6E%65%20%41%70%70%73%3C%2F%61%3E%20%2D%20%3C%61%20%68%72%65%66%3D%22%3C%61%20%68%72%65%66%3D%22%68%74%74%70%3A%2F%2F%62%6C%6F%67%2E%70%6C%61%6E%65%74%2D%63%65%6C%6C%2D%70%68%6F%6E%65%73%2E%63%6F%6D%2F%22%20%74%69%74%6C%65%3D%22%43%65%6C%6C%20%50%68%6F%6E%65%73%22%3E%43%65%6C%6C%20%50%68%6F%6E%65%73%3C%2F%61%3E%20%2D%20%3C%61%20%68%72%65%66%3D%22%68%74%74%70%3A%2F%2F%77%77%77%2E%61%70%70%6C%65%69%70%68%6F%6E%65%74%65%63%68%2E%63%6F%6D%22%20%74%69%74%6C%65%3D%22%69%50%68%6F%6E%65%20%52%65%76%69%65%77%22%3E%69%50%68%6F%6E%65%20%52%65%76%69%65%77%3C%2F%61%3E%3C%62%72%20%2F%3E%3C%2F%70%3E%0A%3C%2F%64%69%76%3E%0A%3C%2F%64%69%76%3E'));<br />//--&gt;<br />&lt;/Script&gt;</p></blockquote>
<p>There is this handy tool:</p>
<p><a href="http://scriptasylum.com/tutorials/encdec/encode-decode.html">HTML &amp; JavaScript Encoder/Decoder</a></p>
<p>Just place everything after "(unescape(" into the right side box and click the left arrow button to get the decrypted text:</p>
<p>
<div align="center"><img style="max-width: 800px;" src="http://www.livelylinks.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/encrypted-footer-wordpress.png" />
<div align="left"></div>
</div>
<p>2) Or for those with footer.php themes that look like this:</p>
<blockquote><p>&lt;? eval(gzinflate(base64_decode('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 <p>You can use this tutorial:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.ifoundafix.com/2009/01/14/how-to-remove-the-footer-encryption-in-a-wordpress-theme/">http://www.ifoundafix.com/2009/01/14/how-to-remove-the-footer-encryption-in-a-wordpress-theme/</a></p>
<p>&nbsp;It is a little lenghier than the other tutorial, but works just the same.&nbsp; It has you adding some hidden code in the wordpress index.php file and then viewing the generated source code and copying and adding that code (from the source view) into your footer.php.&nbsp; </p>
<p>Enjoy your cracked wordpress themes!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I was working on my mom's WordPress blog tonight and came up with a custom logo in Photoshop.&nbsp; I figured out how to insert it without a problem, but was struggling with a good way to make it "clickable" and hyperlink it to the blog's homepage.&nbsp; That is until I found this lively link:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.wwohn.com/clickable-logo/">Make your logo clickable | Wwohn.com</a></p>
<p>And I quote:</p>
<p>If you cannot find the &lt;img&gt; the logo is probably the background image of a &lt;div&gt; or &lt;td&gt;. this would mean that you should make the entire &lt;div&gt; or &lt;td&gt; clickable.</p>
<p>You can make a &lt;div&gt; clickable with the following line of code:</p>
<blockquote><p><code>&lt;div onclick="location.href='http://www.yourwebsite.com/';" style="cursor: pointer;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</code></p>
</blockquote>
<p>You can make a &lt;td&gt; clickable with the following line of code:</p>
<blockquote><p><code>&lt;td onclick="location.href='http://www.yourwebsite.com/';" style="cursor: pointer;"&gt;&lt;/td&gt;</code></p>
</blockquote>
<p>In the examples above, pointer of the mouse changes if the mouse hovers the &lt;div&gt; or &lt;td&gt;. This provides visitors an indication that the area they are hovering is clickable.</p>
<p>You can read the rest of the article here:</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you did a Google search between 6:30 a.m. PST and 7:25 a.m. PST this<br />
morning, you likely saw that the message "This site may harm your<br />
computer" accompanied each and every search result.</p>
<p>According to Google, "This was clearly an<br />
error, and we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused to our users."</p>
<p>How did this happen?</p>
<blockquote><p><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #0b5394;"><span style="border-collapse: collapse;"><span style="color: #0b5394;">We periodically update that list and released one such update to the site this morning.<span style="color: #0b5394;"> </span></span><span style="color: black;">Unfortunately<br />
(and here's the human error), the URL of '/' was mistakenly checked in<br />
as a value to the file and '/' expands to all URLs. Fortunately, our<br />
on-call site reliability team found the problem quickly and reverted<br />
the file. Since we push these updates in a staggered and rolling<br />
fashion, the errors began appearing between 6:27 a.m. and 6:40 a.m. and<br />
began disappearing between 7:10 and 7:25 a.m., so the duration of the<br />
problem for any particular user was approximately 40 minutes.</span></span></span></span></p></blockquote>

<p><a href="http://www.wtrf.com/story.cfm?func=viewstory&amp;storyid=51068">Plane Crash Near Tri-State Airport In Wayne County - WTRF-TV - WTRF.com</a></p>
<p>KENOVA&nbsp;--&nbsp;According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the<br />
plane was a twin-engine Piper PA-34 registered to Wesvin Inc. of<br />
Wilmington, Delaware. The Piper PA-34 aircraft is configured to seat<br />
six.
<p>
Tower controllers at Tri-State Airport in Wayne County tell the<br />
National Weather Service they lost radar contact with the plane about<br />
three miles southeast of Tri-State Airport. That is in the area of the<br />
intersection of Route 75 and Plymale Branch Road near Lavelette. </p>
<p>
Walter Stroud lives near the crash site. He was in his garage this<br />
afternoon and heard the plane fly very low over his home. He went<br />
outside and saw the plane bank hard for a turn before it hit a<br />
high-voltage power line and burst into a fireball. Stroud says he lost<br />
sight of the plane as it disappeared over the trees. </p>
<p>
At the time the plane went down, the National Weather Service reports<br />
wind out of the west at 5 mph, visibility was 2 miles with light snow<br />
and the broken cloud deck was at 1000 feet. The temperature at the time<br />
was 27 degrees. </p>
<p>
Route 75 was closed for about an hour, but has now re-opened. Traffic<br />
is moving slowly, however, drivers are blocked from Plymale Branch<br />
Road. </p>
<p>
Emergency crews were quick to respond. West Virginia State Police and<br />
Wayne County Sheriffs deputies have secured the area. Volunteer<br />
firefighters from Ceredo, Kenova, Lavalette and England Hill are also<br />
on scene. Power crews are also there trying to deal with the downed<br />
power lines. Workers from the West Virginia Division of Highways have<br />
been working to clear Plymale Branch Road so crews can get to the crash<br />
site. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.newsday.com/news/local/ny-liplan3112415835jan31,0,4051597.story">Video game simulates Hudson plane landing -- Newsday.com</a></p>
<blockquote><p>Want to be like Sully? The crash-landing of US Airways Flight 1549 into the Hudson River has inspired a free online video game: "Hero on the Hudson."</p>
<p>The game gives players a scenario - "Both engines are out. The plane is too low and too slow to make it to the airport. You decide to make emergency landing in the river" - and allows a player to control the aircraft using the computer keyboard's left and right arrows.</p>
<p>With a successful landing in the water, you are a hero just like pilot Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger, whose skill meant the survival of all 155 people on Flight 1549. If you don't land the plane successfully, it unceremoniously crashes and sinks in the digital river.</p>
<p>"I think it's natural for someone to want to capitalize on a sensational event like that," said Todd Wissing of Raleigh, N.C., an 18-year veteran pilot with American Airlines. Though Wissing had not heard of the game, he said, "It sounds like it might not be in the best taste, but the fact that the event itself had a happy ending makes it a bit more palatable."</p>
<p>The game elicited mixed feelings yesterday from some of the flight's survivors.</p>
<p>"People are crazy," laughed Diane Higgins, 58, from her home upstate in Goshen. "They have nothing better to do with their time, I guess."</p>
<p>Others, however, were given pause.</p>
<p>"All of this is still so fresh and new," said Alexandra Spera, 39, of Charlotte, N.C., whose husband, Vince, was a passenger on the flight. "To inject humor into it? I don't know if I'm ready yet."</p>
<p>The video game by Orbs Games Limited - which lists its chief executive as Andriy Sharanevych of Kiev, Ukraine - was the featured game Friday on the Web site Tastyplay.com. Players gave it 31/2 stars on a five-star scale.</p>
<p>According to his biography on an online social networking site, Sharanevych has a bachelor's degree from National Technical University of Ukraine in Kiev and operates several video-game Web sites. He responded Friday to an initial e-mail, but did not answer questions sent via a subsequent e-mail.</p>
<p>To veteran pilots such as Bob Ober of East Setauket - a pilot with Delta Air Lines and a simulation instructor for more than 15 years who had not played the game - the game is "not the least bit representative of being a pilot."</p>
<p>And, he said, one doesn't have to be a pilot to see the game is tasteless. "It would be like if they made a video game of an execution," he said.</p></blockquote>
