The Air Force censored a video created by a chaplain because it includes the word "God." The Air Force feared the word might offend Muslims and atheists.
A service member received a "severe and possibly career-ending reprimand" for expressing his faith's religious position about homosexuality in a personal religious blog.
An enlisted service member received a career-ending punishment for sending personal invitations to his promotion party that mentioned that he would be providing Chick-fil-A sandwiches due to his respect for the Defense of Marriage Act.
A senior military official at Fort Campbell sent out a lengthy email officially instructing officers to recognize "the religious right in America" as a "domestic hate group" akin to the KKK and Neo-Nazis because of its opposition to homosexual behavior.
A chaplain was relieved of his command over a military chapel because, consistent with DOMA's definition of marriage, he could not allow same-sex weddings to take place in the chapel.
An enlisted service member was threatened and denied promotion by a senior NCO for expressing — during a personal conversation — his religious belief in support of traditional marriage.

Nor would the regime intentionally fail to go after them rather than risk offending their community.

But since Christians aren't responsible for 99.9999… percent of all deadly terrorist attacks on American soil during his term, ØTyrant's muslim-appeasing regime — not to mention devoted co-fascists — continues to hold all of them enemies in war and to put everybody it knows or feels is one squarely in its crosshairs.

At least Twitter boosts its privacy cred with its absence from the Ødespot-controlled NSA's surveillance program known as ~~FASCISM~~ PRISM.

The seven-year-old startup is already well-respected for guarding its users' privacy. It has fought government subpoenas that other companies, like Google, routinely comply with. The Electronic Frontier Foundation, a privacy group, recently gave Twitter six out of six stars for protecting user data from government monitoring.

"No one wants a pen that's going to rat them out," Alexander Macgillivray, Twitter's top lawyer, said last year.

I imagine this makes the CEOs of Google, Microsoft, AOL, and Facebook a little embarrassed. Twitter, as AP noted, would have been a pretty critical platform to penetrate, given the ability to message privately through the firm's systems (DMs). Apparently, all it took was a refusal to make the NSA go away. On the other hand, perhaps the NSA could find at least some of that traffic routing through some of the servers they did access.

How did the NSA access those data streams? Contrary to the denials last night from Google and others, the NYT's Claire Cain Miller reports that the firms set up systems to allow the NSA to gain access to their content — as the companies themselves dumped it into secure "rooms" for NSA perusal.

Their lies are almost as noxious as the presiTyrant's.

There's no room in a free society for any company that creates special "rooms" where yes Øfascist can snoop and spy on totally innocent Americans.

So is universally tapping into, continuously monitoring, and permanently noting every citizen or legal resident's personal communications and transactions conducted electronically? Is this the Policed States of America instead of the united ones?

If that be the case, add the Warrant Clause as well as the rest of the Fourth Amendment's provisions to the now growing list of dead-letter ones in our country's constitution.

Even under President Bush there were limits to what the executive branch could legally search while executing the Global War on Terror. After presiTyrant Øfascist officially declared the war over, one would think those limits would increase dramatically. Not decrease to absolutely none.

But one would have to be living securely in a free nation to think such. What we're living in today is nothing of the kind.

Subjects ask, "If you have nothing to hide, why would you want the government to stop monitoring you, unless you actually do have something to hide?" So everything you do is and ought to be the government's business? To even begin to ~~think~~ feel that can ever be compatible with a free society is insane. No one could reasonably expect the result to be, in defiance of all history, any different from every other path to absolute despotism expedited the world over by peoples too cowardly, complaisant, or lazy to stand up and fight for the same individual rights God has endowed all human beings with the moment each was created.

The default form of our government is tyranny. If it is the form we want, we do not need to do anything other than await from that hell foreshadowed by the one our inaction will create here on earth the eternal and inescapable condemnation of God and posterity.

Of course, should you ~~think~~ feel this form will be less fallible and more capable and trustworthy than the one to which we and our forebears were accustomed, try to pay even less attention whenever the subject of fatal, false-positive matches or the Boston Marathon Massacre or IRS-inflicted political vengeance is raised. It is the law that the IRS must answer within 270 days for 501(c)(3) organizations, yet the IRS delayed conservative organizations for more than 540 days....

Don't expect the IRS to hold liberals responsible for anything.

In March 2010 Mr. Grassley [Senator Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa)] tried again to apply the law to all Congressional personnel and to White House officials. His amendment received every Republican vote but it was defeated with 55 Democrats (plus Socialist Bernie Sanders) voting no. However, thanks to Mr. Grassley's earlier success, the law still covered Members of Congress and some of their aides — hence their latest effort to wiggle out of the ObamaCare mandates.

In 2010 Mr. Grassley created enough of a political headache that Mr. Obama was compelled to say that he would personally join a new insurance exchange. This was an empty gesture since the President has no need for health insurance. He has a team of people devoted to his health and surely no one asks him to present a [voter-registration] card to receive treatment.

Congress will eventually find some way to protect itself, but its subterranean scrambling to do so exposes one of ObamaCare's greatest deceits: That if you like the insurance you have, you'll be able to keep it. Even the people who wrote the law don't believe it.

So Øfascist & Commiepany's partisan IRS, which can't wait to harass conservatives while giving fascist totalitarian liberals^(birm) a pass, has practicably absolute power and discretion to enforce this totally Tyrannicrat law. The FBI acknowledged Friday that it had investigated Tsarnaev in 2011, even interviewing him and his family, but "did not find any terrorism activity," either domestic or foreign.

"The FBI had this guy on the radar and somehow he fell off," said the congressional aide, who said oversight committees on Capitol Hill are seeking answers from counterterrorism officials. "We heard for several days leading up to this there was no intelligence. Now we know there could have been intelligence."

Redefining "marriage" within the borders of a State is no one's business except that State's.

o United States district, circuit, or even supreme court has any jurisdiction under what's left of our national Constitution to decide what marriage means in any or every state. Absent a constitutional amendment to the contrary, only the people of each state or their duly chosen representatives may make that decision for themselves. They, of course, may not impose their decision on the people of any other state in a manner that voids or makes meaningless the latter's own decision; and the U.S. Congress has the power to ensure that they don't.

In both cases now before it, the orders of the Supreme Court of the United States ought to be unanimous: We must let each state decide. No state may be forced to accept another state's decision.

Consent of the governed is the only principle a government can follow to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers. No just or legitimate power can ever be derived from any attempt to transcend that principle, no matter what the cause. At every level it is so fundamental to our form of government, there would be no ground of public confidence in the government once its violation is allowed. Indeed, it is the beginning and the end of the American story:

When it became necessary, the laws of nature and of nature's God entitled us to assume among the powers of the earth a separate and equal station, one within which we alone have authority to institute, together for our nation and respectively for our states, new governments. So what if more than two persons want to "marry" each other? Are all laws against polygyny, polyandry, or group marriage rendered unenforceable in every state when one state decides they should be? (And if a state decides that all animals and/or plants have the same rights as human beings, what then?)

Must we seek to impose these views by force of law on our fellow citizens? If so, what is the point of enacting any marriage "law"?

If a mere five judges of the Supreme Court either fail to realize that the real goal of these views' proponents is not to redefine "marriage" but to render that term substantively meaningless, or otherwise decide to activistly promote that goal, how much more corrupted must the American people become before they themselves decide that the term "despotism" can never again retain with them any meaning at all?
