text-align: center;"><a href="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VtN6BMZ-Yyc/Wcc42_7E7gI/AAAAAAAACKc/kVGcLdxPfDMck6ECjt_AwhUDIX92QZnngCLcBGAs/s1600/capture34.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="406" data-original-width="597" height="217" src="https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VtN6BMZ-Yyc/Wcc42_7E7gI/AAAAAAAACKc/kVGcLdxPfDMck6ECjt_AwhUDIX92QZnngCLcBGAs/s320/capture34.png" width="320" /></a></div><br />別人的創業故事寫得多,今天破例談一談自己,當作自立門戶剛好「滿月」的小總結。<br /><br />從不覺得有一天會創業。外人只知我出身傳媒,不知我大學畢業後的第一份工,其實是在一家全球聘用四萬多人的本地企業當「管理見習生」(Management Trainee)。那時覺得當MT很適合自己,只要「做好呢份工」,就能按既定的階𨹥拾級而上,一如讀書考試升班,目標清晰、很安心。<br /><br />即使後來認識了在科技界創業的朋友,在這圈中耳濡目染那麼久,也沒誰能動搖我對打工的堅持。但當某個夏日午後,忽然冒出不如試試創業的念頭後,一切卻像上了軌道般高速展開,彷彿過去十年結的因緣,都在此刻瓜熟蒂落,只等一個轉念的發生。<br /><br />我不是在吹噓自己的運氣,恰如其反,這些年來觀察別人創業的原因,加上自己經歷這個決定後,幾乎可以斷言:辭工創業的人都是被逼的。好一點的情況,是覺得機會太大,不得不全力以赴;但多數人是因為打工不開心,想脫離現狀才創業的。<br /><br />像上月剛決定開業時,和一個先後四次創業的女孩子聊天。她談到最近一次辭工創業前,本在投資銀行工作,每晚九點完成和客戶的電話會議後,才開始自己的生意,直至翌日早上四點。她記得在那段不眠不休的日子裏,只要一投入自己的生意,再累都覺得很開心,反而白天那份工作,雖然錢賺得多,卻沒什麼滿足感。日子一久,下堂求去是很自然的事。我當時感到內心共嗚不已。<br /><br />一個月前如果我真的像當年設初那樣,在大機構裏步步高陞,大概沒什麼理由放棄穩定的高薪厚職而自立門戶。實情是,兩年前我告別商會的行政工作後,半年內連換三份工作,最短的一份只做了六星期,直到去年年中遇上剛成立的<a href="https://www.facebook.com/centralxlimited/?ref=aymt_homepage_panel">Central Exchange</a>,才安頓下來。<br /><br />此番波折令我留下深刻印象,明白個個月等出糧的打工生涯,看似安穩,實則一切並非操之在我。故當創業念頭一至,便不再猶疑,放手一搏。<br /><br />開業一個月來,參與過的項目涉及電競、初創、共享工作間、甚至電影等,未熱好身便要戰戰兢兢赤膊上陣,實在始料不及。<br /><br />為此我特別感激Central Exchange的上司Billy So蘇智安,一個月前如果沒有他欣然答應當我第一位客戶,我很可能臨陣退縮。上班的最後一天,他還送我一份別出心裁的禮物,能在未來受用不盡。這份慷慨,永誌不忘。<br /><br />記得曾看過設計大師<a href="https://www.facebook.com/pg/grleaveyourmark/videos/?ref=page_internal">李永銓的一個訪問</a>,他回憶當年辭工創業時,立下三項原則:一,Pitching唔做;二,唔比deposit錢的客一定唔做;三,一定要見老闆。被行家譏諷為「自殺公司」,「新公司、無名氣、仲要揀客...死亡率好高」,結果他卻屹立了近三十年。<br /><br />如履薄冰的我不知自己的生意能走多遠,說不準一年半載後就要灰頭土臉地四處求職,今天記下這一章,為未來的自己打打氣。<br /><br />***<br /><br />本文同日刊登於<a href="https://skypost.ulifestyle.com.hk/sras213/%e5%89%b5%e6%a5%ad%e7%be%a4%e4%bf%a0%e5%82%b3-%e9%bb%83%e9%9b%85%e9%ba%97">《晴報》專欄「創業群俠傳」</a>,上文較詳盡。<br /><br />***<br /><br />致看《這雙手雖然小》的朋友:<br /><br />很久以前就想寫這封信給你們了!只因為決定創業後,一切發展得太快,無瑕靜下來,所以才拖到今天。<br /><br />因為決定自立門戶,做和初創有關的顧問工作,所以開了一個新的網頁,就叫<a href="http://leonawong.hk/" target="_blank">《創業群俠傳》</a> ,文章主要是近年為《晴報》寫的專欄「創業群俠傳」,以後慢慢加上過去寫的兩本書的內容。基本上只要一天仍然交稿,我都會每週更新一次,寫創業故事。你們可以把<a href="http://leonawong.hk/" target="_blank">它</a>加到追看名單上。謝謝。<br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br /></div><div style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">蘋果認為要盡量減少生活中不必要的噪音和混亂,才能集中精力處理<wbr></wbr>複雜的事,所以喬布斯的衣著始終如一、Jonathan Ive的桌面一絲不苟。同理,蘋果店的桌面越簡潔、員工越能把全<wbr></wbr>副精神集中在顧客身上,而且因為每張枱的用品都一應俱全,<wbr></wbr>整個試機、付款、打印、包裝等交易過程一氣呵成,不必來來回回,<wbr></wbr>顧客和員工都感自在。</div><div style="color: #222222; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">這六個訪問裏,有的談朋友新推出的服務、有的由其初創的誕<wbr></wbr>生開始講、有些提到朋友和他的共同創辦人、還有一份講他們怎麼請<wbr></wbr>人。有兩個不是訪問,乃一些有關他們業務數據。</div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br /></div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">我的意見是,訊息太多太雜,反而沒有一個重點能突圍而出。而且有<wbr></wbr>關他們的創業故事早已新意欠奉,難引起讀<wbr></wbr>者或用戶興趣。最終朋友雖花了不少時間「應酬」六個不同媒體的訪<wbr></wbr>問,但這些「散收收」的訪問無法由點連成線,為朋友的初創鞏固品<wbr></wbr>牌形像。</div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">今晚又舉行一年一度的資訊科技界頒獎禮。這盛事由政府資訊科技辦公室出資贊助,十來個背景不同的商會各自負責一個和<a href="https://www.hkictawards.hk/" style="color: #1155cc;">資訊科技有關的比賽</a>,有些主攻「數碼娛樂」,有些做「金融科技」,還有「學生發明獎」等等。比賽歷時數月,最後統一搞個星光熠熠的頒獎禮作結。我以前工作的商會,負責「流動應用程式」類別,得獎者曾有<a href="http://wongleona.blogspot.hk/2016/07/gogovan.html" style="color: #1155cc;">GoGoVan</a>、<a href="http://wongleona.blogspot.hk/2016/02/blog-post_28.html" style="color: #1155cc;">「街霸阿強」</a>的iSafe等。</div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br /></div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">在任期間,我籌備了比賽四次,深明主辦單位若懂發揮此比賽的好處,宣傳效果極佳。舉例,我們曾邀9GAG創辦人陳展程、共享工作間Cocoon創辦人馬衡、熱心社企的天使投資者黃岳永等任評判。對不少公司--尤其初創企業--來說,能同時向他們作演示是極難得的機會,所以參加者會施展渾身解數,努力爭取出線。假如能贏取獎項、獲得傳媒青睞和曝光,更錦上添花。</div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br /></div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">可是不知是否因兩年前「初創企業」獎項發生「咖啡機兄弟」事件,政府為免再爆醜聞,對比賽的制肘越來越多。該獎項三年換了三個主辦單位不在話下,亦牽連其他主辦方在參賽資格審查、評判邀請、宣傳等各方面,受到更多限制。</div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br /></div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">其實一直以來,要說服初創參賽並不容易:做出成績的初創,毋須靠比賽證明實力;而獲獎無數的初創,又未必有市場競爭力。像前述GoGoVan和iSafe那種叫好又叫座的初創,本來就少,如今比賽公信力受挫,更難吸引優秀參賽者。</div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br /></div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">網上廣告令人厭惡到一個點,是單在美國,<wbr></wbr>每年便有8000萬人安裝形形式式的阻隔廣告程式。觀眾或讀者甚至願意付出一點費用,以接收不受廣告阻撓的內容。</div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif;">每次大市轉勢,總有其代表事件。2017年,科技界最引頸以待的一件事,是下月社交平台Snap的上市,但這會否恰巧標誌另一次泡沫的爆破? </span><br /><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br /></div><div style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Snap是近年冒起最快的科技初創公司。它由三名史丹福學生於2011年創立,一年後獲第首筆48.5萬美元種子資金,兩年內晉身為市值逾十億美元的「獨角獸」。數年間, Snap的每日活躍用戶(DAU)急增至1.6億名(比較2012年上市的Facebook,其現在每日活躍用戶為5億名),至今獲注資逾20億美元。它本月初遞交上市文件,計劃下月在美國上市,估計上市後市值逾250億美元。</div><div style="background-color: white;
