Very cool! You make learning fun!
I love hearing stories about how creative homeschool parents can be! It sounds as if you have a great time and the kids love it! I hope your co-op continues to be a blessing to your family and other homeschool families.

I told my kids that unless the pixos were changed into pixCubes, we won't buy them again. They fall off the table and roll, roll, roll away never to be found again until they're sticking to the bottom of feet or gooping up the carpeting.

Cyn, Pixos are EVIL. My sister sent them to my kids for Christmas and I'm still picking them sticky pixo balls out of the carpet. I don't think they are a good idea.

I remember seeing a video of Asian kids learning to do very complex math very quickly using abacuses (abaci???). The amazing part, though, was when they took away the abaci... the kids were still able to do the complex math quickly IN THEIR HEADS!

Here it is... I found it on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wIiDomlEjJw
