The<span style="font-size: small;"> Ministry of Tourism of India has released an Annual Statistical Report revealing the information related to tourism in India, for the convenience of tour operators, with India as main target tourist destination. The report contains exact figures about </span><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>FTA</strong></span><span style="font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>(Foreign Tourists Arrival), FEE (Foreign Exchange Earnings) and Tourist VoA (Visa on Arrival)</strong></span><span style="font-size: small;"> from tourism every year.</span></p>
<p>In<span style="font-size: small;"> order to lead in tourism world and beat behind competitors, it has become important for travel organizers to keep track of tourists’ record in tourism industry. </span>India being one of the major tourist destination is visited by travelers in huge numbers every year, which consistently keeps increasing. <strong>FTA</strong> and <strong>FEE</strong> report by Ministry of Tourism of India is a refined estimation of foreign tourists and earnings from the same. According to the report there has been a noteworthy hike in <strong>FEE</strong> of  INR42279 crore which resulted from surge in <strong>FTA</strong> around 34.17 lakh during January-July in 2011 as compared to January-July, 2010.</p>
<p>Moreover, the scheme of <strong>VOA</strong> played a constructive role in attracting more foreign visitors to India. As per the information gathered by Ministry of Tourism of India, 820 <strong>VoAs</strong> were issued during July 2011 whereas 770 <strong>VoAs</strong> were issued in June 2011 and total number of <strong>VoAs</strong> issued from January to July, 2011 were 6594. Further, according to the report in 2011, Delhi represented maximum issuance of <strong>VoAs </strong>i.e. 3653, followed by Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata which were 1484, 1125 and 332 respectively.</p>
<p>Drawing a conclusion from the data mentioned in the report, growth of tourism sector in India can be easily traced out, as the percentage of tourists and earnings from them is rising every year. According to this India seems to outshine others in tourism arena soon.</p>
