For the 22nd consecutive year, l.a.Eyeworks honors Day With(out) Art / World AIDS Day as a moment to remember those who have gone before us, to witness for acceptance and respect, and to embrace the endurance of hope.

As part of our activities, l.a.Eyeworks invited many friends from the creative and services communities to contribute a song of their choosing to comprise a Day Without Art playlist to be heard throughout the day in our retail stores in Los Angeles. We are honored by everyone who took the time to suggest a song, and we express our gratitude to the artists who created the music.

Download a copy of the playlist here:

Last chance this weekend to catch the final four performances of the incomparable Ennio Marchetto at the Pasadena Playhouse. Miss this, and cry paper tears for a long, long time . . .

Here's the maestro himself posing with our celebratory window at l.a.Eyeworks on Beverly Boulevard!

This amazing window wonder was created for l.a.Eyeworks by Sosthen Hennekam, designer of Ennio's magnificent menagerie of quick-change paper costumes (not to mention he's the show's director, lighting/sound designer, and beyond!).

Ennio is posing with his new Tuba sunglass by l.a.Eyeworks.

Ennio also belongs to the rarefied club of special sparklers who have appeared twice in the l.a.Eyeworks portrait ad campaign. Here's the original shot:
