Morning, all! We’re at day 8–can you believe it! Practically 1/3 through the entire series. :)

Today’s card uses masking, misting, and embossing. And used on such a large card, those small things create big impact. I used 7Gypsies’ Savannah alpha stamp set, which I think is my most favorite large alphabet for stamps, and Maya Road’s Maya Mist in Brown and their Snowflakes stamp set.

Today’s card it most likely the most simple card I’ve ever made. LOL! I remember seeing something similar in a Martha Stewart magazine years ago and thinking that the button snowman was super cute! I’ve always wanted to try it. And here we go!

I used the Colorful Christmas collection pack from My Mind’s Eye for this card. You’ll remember the collection from day 2. And I also used my Card Shapes digital cutting kit to cut the circle pieces with my Cricut. Anyhow, enjoy!

Here we are at the end of the first week! Can you believe it? Today’s card uses a stamp set from Stampin’ Up! called Tree Trimmings. I love this stamp set because of the shapes of the ornaments–so traditional and endearing. Love them! And ornaments really are a simple and elegant image on cards, aren’t they? :)

A couple weeks ago, I made a cupcake card using BasicGrey’s Nook & Pantry collection. It was such a hit and I loved it so much, I knew I had to make another card using the collection. This time, instead of a cupcake, it’s a little teacup from the Cup of Tea stamp set. Now, I’m not a big tea drinker, but I had my fair share of tea parties as a girl, so this little teacup was just calling out to me. Too cute!

And then the awesome rickrack and dots came from another stamp set from the collection, Crumpets. Love it!

CHALLENGE: Create a card with a custom “scallop border” using smaller circles adhered behind cardstock. Upload your card to the TwoPeas gallery, select this week’s Finally Friday video, and your card will appear at the bottom of the Finally Friday page! :)

Morning, all!

We’re at day 4 already, can you believe it? Craziness! Anyhow, for today’s card I used a bunch of Inkadinkado stamps and stamp sets. The snowman comes from this awesome set, and then the large snowflake and smaller snowflake are individual stamps.

Oh! And the Tombow Mono Multi Glue that I love and mention in the video… great news! It’s not discontinued! In fact, TwoPeas now carries it along with a boatload of other adhesives. You’ll find the Mono Multi Glue as well as a vellum mono tape runner and my usual mono tape runner (plus refills). :)

Good morning, all!

I’m so excited to share my “secret” project with you all! A few months back, I was trying to think of something I could do here for all of you for the holidays and got the crazy idea to create 25 videos of holiday cards. Crazy, right? I was all, “Naaa… only do 12. It’s easier.” But then I started wondering if I could actually do it. And don’t tell me I can’t do something because then I’ll want to do it even more! And so… here we are!

2009 HOLIDAY CARD SERIES: For the next five weeks, November 2 through December 4, there will be a new video posted here on each weekday (Monday – Friday). On Fridays, you’ll get a HCS video and a Finally Friday video. ;)

This project was totally fun to do, but as soon as December 4th comes around, it’s back to business as usual. Seriously, I don’t think I want to attempt to do something like this again for a long LONG time. LOL! And hopefully ya’ll won’t get sick of me posting a new video every day! :)
