It’s Over

People who are in my facebook probably heard the news about me and my boyfriend (now ex boyfriend) of four years break up. He was the one to end it and I recently found out he is crazy about another girl. So there, the long chapter of our love story has finally ended and another chapter is just beginning. Yes, darlings, I am dating. Don’t expect me to cry and mope about it. I am not really one who gets depressed over trivial things. He loves another, why should I mourn about it? Honesty, I’m okay with it. I was able to accept the fact after a few days. Of course, it’s thanks to all my friends and everyone who gave their support during that process. I am really grateful for their effort of cheering me up.

Last night, I had my first date with another guy after a very looooong time. LOL. I have been in a relationship for so long I almost forgot how it feels to be single. This time, I want to enjoy my youth and all the attention. LOL. No more serious relationships for now. I’m taking a break. BUT… BUT… I have this tendency to easily fall in love. GRRRRRR. Nooooooo!! I wish I don’t, but of course I’m not closing my doors for opportunities.

I’ll be posting the complete story of this on my other blog. It’s still under construction but I’ll post the link once it’s up.

PS: I’m on a no-rice diet right now and it is very effective. I lost 6 lbs in just a week. 6 more pounds and I’m good to go. But if I can lose more than that, why not? =) Yeay! <3

In the midst of piled work load…

… I am blogging. LOL. I just finished writing the sponsorship letters for the upcoming event in October, called the oh-so-popular October Festival or otherwise known as the Beer Festival. I need to send it all out within this week. I’m sure you all know how long it takes for companies to respond on solicitation letters. Sigh.

My officemate, who is the HR Supervisor talked to me just a while ago and what he told me was really funny. I just found out that certain people in my work place have complaints about me. They said that I don’t say good morning and they find it a bit disrespectful and assumed that I am too full of myself. This of course made me laugh. Seriously. Of all things to complain, just the mere fact that I don’t say good morning? I’m laughing my ass out now. They’ll have to get used to the fact that I say “Hi, Hello” instead of good morning and good afternoon and what have you.

Oh how I love my job. ROFLOL! <3 <3

Mindanao Travel and Tour Expo

HRC’s Leisure and Tourism Department just participated in Department of Tourism’s MTTE, an exhibit that showcased the wonderful tourist spots in Mindanao. It was held during the Kadayawan Festival and I am so happy to say that our first ever exhibit had been a success. Here’s how our booth looked like:

I think the booth designer, whom we paid P13,000, did a nice job on the design and concept.

We promoted our beach resort during the 3-day affair and it was also a nice exposure for me. I met a lot of people who would of great help to us, especially travel agencies.

Next huge event for me is the company’s 50th (golden) anniversary which will be on September 8. (I just found out they assigned me to socialize with the VVIPs. *gasp*)

Minor events for the week and next would be the arrival of different guests in the exclusive beach/heritage house. (It’s different from the one we promoted during the expo.)

Busy, busy, as always. As Jogz said, and I quote, “nalunod ka na sa work mo”… So true!

Jamby campaigns during Cory’s funeral

Jamby Madrigal, who recently declared her intentions to run for presidency on the upcoming 2010 elections, was, without shame, subtly campaigning by giving out free bracelets with her face attached on it, during Cory Aquino’s funeral. Tsktsk.

This time, after the disrespect you’ve shown to Cory, her family, friends, and fans, not even Judy Ann Santos can salvage your reputation.

Glamping; the new IT

All you people who loves outdoors but hate the discomfort of bugs, leaking tents and smelly sleeping bags, shout out and rejoice for the solution to your problems is here.

Glamping or glamorous camping allows you to enjoy the experience of outdoor camping without the hassle. These tents are equipped with hotel-class ammenities, from beds, to desk, comfort rooms, and appliances. Isn’t it great? When we had our corporate meeting last Wednesday, the topic was brought up and I immediately loved the idea. On our next project, we’ll be aiming for this kind of set-up. I can’t wait. I’d love to try this.

Okay, I am seriously considering leaving the online world. I barely have time for myself, let alone manage FIVE domains. I spend nine hours at the office six days a week, which means I only have one rest day. All I want to do during that day is to crawl under my covers and stay in bed the whole time. My websites aren’t just my top priority right now.

Maybe I should just be on open hiatus? I’ll let my other websites expire and just leave this one, Kowakuteki. I want to at least keep one website.

Anyone wants to buy Kikayfairy.Net?

I just realized how busy I am going to be for the next months. I was given three huge projects all due before July. *gasp*

So I’ll be requesting stuffs from the company which I can use for work. So far I’ve come up with this list.

Gas allowance + Maintenance (as soon as I start doing sales calls)
My own company mobile (for sales calls again)

Contest + Work

Just so you know, I have no internet connection at my new place. Ugh, sucks I know. I can only go online in the office, but that won’t be a long time, plus I only use my iPhone so it’s really limited. The first week of work is filled with tours and orientations. The place where I am working is an almost 800 hectares compound so it’s really huge. There are two beach resorts, a forest trail filled with wild monkeys and boars, a shooting area (and I mean guns), a fishing village, banana and coconut plantation, sea port (for export), botanical garden, cattles ground, you name it… so there are really a LOT of things that I need to know. The following week would still be orientation time, but by June 15, the real training starts. And I heard it’s going to be tough…

So about the contest. I decided to have two. The first one would be the random draw. The other one would be more difficult- a poster making design and also bigger rewards.

So this is how it will go. For the random draw, it’s only a matter of luck. Each contestant gets only a maximum of three entries. If you write a post about this contest, you earn one entry. If you continue any of the phrases I will enumerate below, you earn two raffle entries. (Your answers may be inserted in a blog post) And the phrases are:

Be as creative as you can. There will only be THREE lucky winners for this contest who may choose any of the following prizes:
