Good News for Mohsin Hamid Fans! Having made an impression worldwide, the much awaited movie “The Reluctant Fundamentalist” is all set to premiere tomorrow in Lahore. Based on Mohsin Hamid’s novel, it’s a bold piece of storytelling with a strong lead performance by Riz Ahmed under Mira Nair’s direction. The premiere will be held at Cine Star Lahore and many noted celebrities like Ali Zafar, Meesha Shafi, Atif Aslam and the author himself Mohsin Hamid will be attending the event. The audience will be further entertained by a performance by the talented Meesha Shafi. The movie will be released on 24th May, 2013 all over Pakistan.

This is the second installment of True Brew Tuesday featuring Sikandar Ka Mandar. The indie rock band hailing from Karachi gave an energetic performance and brought the crowd to its feet as they performed one of their fan favorite songs “Main Idhar Khara Hoon“. They brought a very fresh and energetic sound to the True Brew stage and displayed impressive skills in their respective instruments. The crowd responded to the amazing demonstration of these Karachi musicians by giving them a standing ovation at the end of the show.
