so i’m still a little blown away by the fact that i have a song on the same release as Omar… i mean wow, what a honor, almost beats being on the same record as Afrika Bambaataa. my tattoo is done healing, such a perfect moment equation right now, in bed listening to Vitamin Quartetperform Sigur Ros, while spring and summer is playing in the background through my window… beautiful… life is such a beautiful thing. last night me and TKster (happy b-day btw Captain) was at Gold bar “getting it” in heals and drinking shots. there’s a lot to celebrate and smile about right now for both of us, feeling truly grateful.

yesterday was all spring colored lips, wedge heels, and “sidechaining” the shit out of a  bunch of things in the studio… — “We-Would-Be-Like-The-Sexiest-Nerds-on-A-beat-YO” –  ; )

it’s so insanely nice outside, fantastic… blooming trees, half naked people and icecream trucks everywhere. I strolled around outside some… but finally got my ass inside to wrapped up the remix i’ve been working on for a while… and now… on to the next thing! i got to record some vocals for the final song that is going on the album, Joyce,my vocal coach helped me out a bunch last time i was over at hers… so hopefully this shit can get nailed… going to sound brilliant when it gets there ; )

spring is HERE in new york FINAAAAAAAAAAALLY! it was so beautiful outside today.. incredible! noonish i hung out outside the gothic cathedral on the upper west side before having class with my vocal coach. the statue behind me, always blows my mind, i can sit and watch it for hours… strolled around in central park as well and watched all the mini dogs. only on the upper west side. LOVE.

the signs simply states ‘no chilling’…. NO CHILLING !? i’m chilling super much right now…  just woke up,  listening to Gilberto and Jobim, drinking lemon water… and soon it’s yoga time. party gangstas need to stay fit too you know. hollaaaaaa

taken a break from writing for a bit, managed to book a time (FINALLY) for a tattoo  that i want to do on my back, the universe has been leading the way today in the most magical way… mindblown every other second by answers, signs and beauty. LOVE is everywhere. Been listening the sh*t out of Lion Babe‘s song ‘Treat Me Like Fire‘… damn son.
