Maybe not. Maybe just busy I guess...?

Haven't had proper sleep in the past few months because of school. I'M SO GLAD YOU LIVE SO CLOSE TO SCHOOL. YAY FOR FALLING ASLEEP UNDER THE LEAF AND SNORING MY ASS OFF :D

I haven't updated on my life in so long because... well, nothing's happening to my life. Maybe a few events. A few prop making sessions. Maybe a few almost sleepless nights. Maybe a few camps. Maybe TERM BASED SUBJECTS OTL. Srsly, wtf, term based sucks balls. :<

Been really really really tired recently. So tired. Gah. Well, at least I still FB and talk to people once in a while.

Made lots of awesome food recently. I guess I have your previous teachings to thank, I guess. It's costing me a lot of money though. I think I'd rather go back to having an unrefined taste instead. The ALMOST vegetarian rara is SO MUCH MORE LOW MAINTENANCE. LIEK SRSLY.

Being so busy and so much of a procrastinator I've completely forgotten about my intentions of sending back your stuff. Until I saw them at BLIC. Ahh, they're such nice people. I hope you're taking care of them. And then shortly after that day I was immersed in work AGAIN and I completely forgotten about it again. And oh hey, it's your birthday. ._. Shit. It's been a year already? Well, almost or over a year, I guess, depending on where you want to start counting where it all fell apart.

Anyway~ Another school term is starting... And moar stuff to learn! Liek, wao. I just want to get everything over and done with so I can be a jolly little lump of yay instead of MEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Ahh, jolly rara is good. JOLLY RARA IS HAPPY. I DON'T LIEK MEHHHHHHHHHHHH RARA. IT'S NOT GOOD FOR HEALTH.

Speaking of health. My health is in probably the worst shape ever right now. Srsly. WORST. SHAPE. EVAR. I guess the people around me aren't doing much better. SYITH, PLEASE START LISTENING TO WHAT ME AND EDWIN HAS BEEN TELLING YOU ABOUT. STOP SACRIFICING YOUR HEALTH FOR OUR SAKE. YOU NEED TO PUT YOURSELF FIRST. DAMNIT.

Seriously. Y U NO TAKE CARE? Prioritize yourself, please? :< All of us are like, THANKS FOR SAVING OUR ASSES AND SAVING THE DAY AGAIN BUT WHY YOU NO TAKE CARE AND WHY YOU KEEP PUSHING YOURSELF? D:

Edwin's starting to become more naggy than our moms combined. IT'S A SIGN.

Hmm... What else do I have to add? Ahh, yes. Did you know that apples in karei sauce taste awesome? Not tomatoes though.

OKAY. BACK TO REALITY. Go to the mail website @ mail.live.com
2. Go to the top right hand corner where your name is and open the drop down menu / dialogue.
3. Click Options.
4. On the left sidebar, click on Mail Options.
5. Second column under Customizing Hotmail > Rules for sorting new messages
6. There's two irritating buttons, namely "New" and "Delete"
7. Here's why you need Google Chrome. Right click on "New" and in the dialogue that comes up, click "Inspect Element".

The inspect element menu will come out at the bottom of the window.
What you will see HIGHLIGHTED is something like this:

< input id="NewFilter" type="button" name="NewFilter" class="UiButton" value="New" onclick="$BSI.navigateTo('EditRule.aspx?n=XXXXXXXXXX');" >

XXXXXXXXXX is a series of numbers and will vary each time you create a new rule.

Double click on the line of text after "onclick"
and copy "EditRule.aspx?n=XXXXXXXXXX"

Your current URL should look like this:

http://xxxxxx.Xxxxxx.mail.live.com/default.aspx?rru=options#!/mail/ManageRules.aspx?n=XXXXXXXXXX

Replace "ManageRules.aspx?n=XXXXXXXXXX" with "EditRule.aspx?n=XXXXXXXXXX".

Please thank me if this helped. ^^

I'm not that evil

I'm not THAT evil. I swear, too, I have no idea where I got this thing from either. Feel free to add what you think will make this sound... Nicer? Better? I don't know... Anything I guess... >.>

Oh shit! How To Make A Guest Account Admin Again?

Solutions for the Average User.

Operating System: Windows 7.

So you played around with settings and decided that it was more convenient to automate login by removing a password off your Administrator level main account. Or something like that, I guess. Anyway, your main account is now transformed into a Guest account. Good job, your life is now GG-fied.

Or not…?

If you’re an average user, with little or no experience with the technical side of stuff, what would you do?

1: Attempt to change password / manage other accounts, etc… FAIL. UAC gets in your way.

2: UAC (User Access Control) keeps getting in your way. So you try to disable it. FAIL. You need an admin password for it. And here comes another UAC prompt.

2: Google terms like “make guest admin”, “deleted admin account”, “forgot admin password”, “password recovery”, “login recovery”

3: Try to install password recovery programs and then realise that you need to get past the UAC. FAIL. THEY REQUIRE UAC TO BE INSTALLED. FAIL.

More and more websites are telling you to reinstall windows, but your computer either doesn’t have a CD drive or you really don’t want to restore all your settings. And other websites are telling you to try hard to remember the Administrator account password.

But then, you don’t remember setting such a password!!! :(

OKAY! If you’re at this stage, congrats!!! Why? Because you’ve ALMOST found the solution.

First of all, take a piece of paper: you gotta write this down: netplwiz. do you see it? NETPLWIZ. yes, write it down. doesn’t matter if your handwriting sucks. Also write down F8.

Secondly, shut down and restart your comp… Spam the key “F8”. No, it’s not F and 8, it’s F8. The row above your numbers in the keyboard.

Third, click on the option Safe Mode. You will see an Administrator account isntead of yoru usual login. Good. Click it.

HEY!!! You get access to it without a password??? Yeah, I know, I felt this way too when I did it. That’s only because you’ve never set a password for the Administrator account.

Now, in safe mode, click on the Start Button / Orb and type in the search bar: netplwiz. In case you forgot how to spell it, you’ll see it written down on the piece of paper from just now.

From here on, you’ll see an entry with your account name on it. Click on Properties > Group Memembership> Administrator > Okay.

For convenience’s sake, if you WERE trying to remove a password from your user account previously, click on the Change Password / Reset Password button and leave both entries blank. This will disable the password for your administrator account.

Now, you’ve done all the important stuff. Okay on everything, close everything, and restart your computer.

Now not only does your account login automatically everytime, it also is an Administrator. :)

Yay you! ^^

<link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/kirara--noyume/~3/YGcvgp3RgQo/oh-shit-how-to-make-guest-account-admin.html" title="Oh shit! So far.
I’m probably the worst person on earth for trying to pursue my happiness, but oh well, at least I’m happy now. At least I don’t feel like giving up on life as much now. Which makes me fucking happy. So… yay. :D

Syith is really a nice guy… Someone said, you’ve finally found someone worth your love. Right now? That seems so true. So I’m gonna stick with that. And I’m gonna be happy with that too. :3

Some of you would probably hate me, especially after I’ve adhered to this guy after being with someone for 2 years… But then again, most of you have been telling me to break up him during those 2 years. In fact, way before the first year ended too, to be precise.

Maybe, right now, you might think that I’m a horrible woman/girl and that I should have never gone near Tenma back then. But then again, he himself have told me that at the start of the relationship, once upon a time, that he was intending to stick with me until someone better comes along. Awesome confession during a relationship, eh? As if telling me that “all that has changed” is going to help make it better. Ha!

This is one of those moments where I feel like I was meant to help people see that a girl can treat a guy decently. I’m not saying that I’m the awesome-est person in the whole wide world, because eventually I’m going to feel like giving up and eventually realise that this guy MIGHT not be the optimal choice for me eventually (which usually happens after quite some time ._. Quite a long time. ._.) but when my heart is true and my love is real, I give my all to make sure that you get the affection that you deserve. Yes, deserve.

Ahhh… Enough about my random shit.

Lots of things have happened: I’m older now. I’ve dyed and gone through pretty much a few weird colours for my hair now (blue, red, purple, orange, black, brown, pink(?)). I’ve learnt a few interesting things about life from Syith and I’m glad that I’m a better person now. Also that I care more about myself now. I used to be selfless. Now…? Ehh… Not saying that I’m selfish… I’m just more aware of what is essential for me to function better as a human and what I should do to keep myself happy.

I stopped reading his blog. Too.

That is, until Syith told me about his updates. I’m amused. So like… you exhausted yourself… So you had to be sent for treatment for being too chiong. Also that you smoked despite having asthma. Also despite the fact that I bloody hate smokers. Awesome. Good job. Keep up the good work. Keep trying to make me hate you and keep trying to kill yourself slowly with that. Also did you forget how i LOOK at smokers? I make friends with them as long as the stay the fuck away from me when smoking. But I hate the smell, the smoke, the everything. Thanks for making me feel more disgusted at you.

Good job. Here’s a round of applause for your efforts to make me hate you, or the lack thereof. If you chose the latter, it’ll probably make me hate you more. Heh.

Moving on… It makes me feel good that I’m missed by you people… I didn’t expect to be missed… It makes me happy when I realised that you guys still want me around. >.< Thank you guys. Everyone, thank you. I missed you lot too :(

Not really looking forward to school reopening… So… Like… Meh. ._.
BUT! JCG’S AGM IS COMING! AND THERE’LL BE A NEW BATCH OF KIDDIES! YAY!!! MORE LOLIS TO- eh. I meant, more younglings to poke and propagandise and spread the love of otakuism :D

On another note… If you’re worried about me, just come to me and ask me. Don’t be shy! :D You know I open up to people easily.
And vice versa, If you’ve got anything that you need help in, just come to me and ask me for help. A listening ear? I’m here to help. If you’re my friend, you’ll know I love you. If you’re my friend, you’ll know I’m willing to help you. Because my awesome-ness is unparalleled :DDDDD

See you at Cosfest / SOYC. :D

Cards – Debit, Credit, or ATM?

So, you’re 16 and you’re eligible for a Debit Card. Should you get one?

What’s the difference between a Credit and a Debit card?

Well, put it this way:
Credit – Money that’s not yours. You borrow money from the bank via the card and there’s a bill to pay at the end of every month with interest.
Debit – Money that’s yours. You take the money out from YOUR BANK ACCOUNT via the card. No interest. There’s an invoice at the end of the month remind you of what you spent on. It’s basically an ATM card that you can use as a VISA/MasterCard at the same time.

Some banks require a higher age for you to apply for a credit card and at least $3k of income per month. SURELY, if you’re a teenager like me, you can’t qualify. And that’s a good thing. More than [INSERT NUMBER HERE]%* of the people living a modern life has to downgrade their lifestyles due to credit card debts.

*Note: This percentage is constantly increasing. I’m lazy to update this post as and when the percentage changes.

So, technically, is the Debit Card really a godsend?

Well, you can say that the Debit Card is a pretend-Credit Card, and most of the time it comes with privileges just like a Credit Card too. Which also means whatever vulnerabilities a credit card has, a debit card has it too.

Take, for example, that you have lost your Credit Card. a person simply has to pick up your card, swipe it till it’s maxed out for the month, and you’ll be billed at the end of every month with that person’s expenses until you cancel your card.

In the case of a debit card, a person can do the same to you, except that the limit is the amount of money in YOUR bank account. If the maximum of a credit card for a month is $2.5k, compare that to your bank account which can possibly house $10k or more worth of savings.

Replacing your card if it goes missing

Although you have to pay a fine for cancelling your card and requesting a new one, it is always wise to cancel your card first once you find it missing. Remember: Sacrificing $5 or $10 is WAY cheaper compared to risking $2.5k or $10k.

So should I upgrade from ATM to Debit or Credit Card?

Basically, if you are someone who lacks money sense and wants to save money, to be honest, keep your ATM Card at home and use the Passbook to retrieve your money. This helps you to be able to play your expenditure and the passbook notes down every deposit and withdrawal, helping you think twice before splurging here and there on things you’ll regret at the end of the month when your allowance runs out. You can deposit money in the Depositing Machine near the ATM Machines using your passbook after bank closure. If you wish to withdraw money, you’ll have to do it before the bank closes. Such a hassle, isn’t it? It’ll surely rid you of your craving to spend a $30 dress on impulse.

What if you really, really need an ATM Card? Well, then get one. If you don’t bring much cash along with you all the time and sometimes by 5 or 6pm when you have to have dinner and you are running short on money, it’s always better to have an ATM Card standing by in your wallet saving you from the emergency. It’s also great when a bunch of friends are going out for a movie in the evening, the queue is freakishly long, the movie you want to watch is selling fast and may be sold out any moment and you can’t afford the time to get everyone to pay for their individual tickets in exact change. Just make sure that you exercise some self control around your ATM Card.

If you have learnt some form of responsibility, go ahead and get a Debit Card. If the “special privileges ” advertised for Credit Cards entice you, just note that Debit Cards have the same offers for the same banks too. Just make sure you read through the FAQs of the bank’s website first. Some banks may chage a monthly charge for the use of, or owning, a Debit Card. Just make sure!!! Also, to be really safe, open 2 separate accounts. 1 is for your savings, and 1 is for your expenditure. Basically, your allowance goes into your account linked with the Debit Card and you can deposit your savings at the end of each month to the other account.

Having multiple bank accounts under one name and ID/NRIC is great. The accounts are usually linked to each other. It is possible to set automatic transfers of money from one account to another at a frequency that you can choose.

For example, every month, there is a sum of money that comes from my mom’s account into my spending account (linked with the DBS/POSB Debit Card) at no cost except for the initial request charge. Every month, I can also set a certain amount of money to be transferred from my spending account to my saving account.

A gentle reminder though, if you don’t exactly trust yourself, you can always remove your ATM card access to your saving account and only access it with a passbook. Passbooks can be used to deposit money via the Depositing Machine near the ATM machines outside the banks so it’s easy to deposit money using your passbook, even after the bank closes at 4. IF you MUST withdraw money from that bank account, go to the bank BEFORE it closes and use your passbook to withdraw the money at the counter.

And now, here’s the Credit Card. Many banks require you to be at least 21 or 18years of age to apply for a credit card and a varying required monthly income depending on what card you are applying for. Some banks also require a monthly charge for just owning the credit card and purchases have interests that you have to pay too at the end of the month. IF you are a really, really, rich kid, you can ask your parents to get you a Credit Card. But, to be honest, I’m very much against the idea of a credit card and no matter how great the benefits are in the advertisement, you must remember that you still have to pay a certain amount of money before you can enjoy the privileges too. Ah, and always remember the interests.

That’s all :)
Disclaimer: I am currently in Singapore using a POSB/DBS Debit Card. If any of the points stated above does not apply to you because of difference in country, banks and even age, I’m sorry, but my main target audience is 16 year olds in Singapore so please don’t bash me telling me what I’m saying is inaccurate.

Religion

Praying for forgiveness and asking him to purge u of your sins after doing something frowned upon is commendable.
Praying for forgiveness and asking him to purge u of your sins after doing something frowned upon REPEATEDLY and ON A REGULAR BASIS just makes you a hypocrite.

His powers on you are only as strong or as weak as your belief in him.

Sidenote: I don't believe in him and neither do I want to be part of this religion.
In the morning – take out matric card to open lab door and the ring dropped out of my pouch and i didn’t notice until tian soon told me before entering the lab T___T

i quickly put the ring on after that because i’m scared i’ll drop it again and REALLY lose it. D:

Afternoon – topping up ezlink card and i dropped the necklace. The bottle necklace you gave me a year ago. It smashed and the blood spilled onto the floor… T___T i didn’t dare touch the sharp glass/plastic of the bottle so the only part i could salvage was the necklace chain…

What’s wrong with me? T_T

I feel so bad now… For the past year and longer I’ve been walking around with the necklace you gave me, whether i wore it or not. It’s been accompanying me, protecting me, making me feel secure, and now it’s gone =/

I called you straightaway but u didn’t seem angry so it’s okay… but i still feel bad about it… T_T

Almost 1 year and 5 months tgt le… I’ve learnt lots from you and hopefully become a better person at being a human than before.

=/

That aside, recently there are more and more inconsiderate prego or middle aged women on mrt with children. like, seriously, wtf.

a considerate person gives up his or her seat on mrt for YOU, and you force your 5yr old kid to sit on the seat. what happens? he stands on the seat, dirties it, makes noise lookng out of the window, and disturb everybody else.

In any case, i’ve written an email to Strait times forum, and if u’re lucky u might see my SUPER WALL OF TEXT (after editing probably ._.) be published. :)

Here it is:

<a onclick="toggle_visibility('HT'); return false;" href="#" ?>CLICK TO REVEAL TEXT PLOX

Considerate Citizens VS Inconsiderate Pregnant Ladies and Middle-Aged Women

There have always been complains on internet forums and places like STOMP where people have left pregnant ladies or middle-aged women with children standing on the MRT or on buses. Usually, in these cases, the reason may be because of inconsiderate youngsters. However, there are people who still let up their seats to women with bearing and with children on public transport like myself.
Far too many have I encountered situations whereby people, including myself, have given up their seats to middle aged-women with children on public transport, only to have the lady to force her children to sit on the seat. These young and energetic children that are able to run around have no problems with standing for long hours. What I do not understand is why these women have to force their children to sit on the seats we have given up for them instead of taking the seat, and probably letting their children sit on their lap.
What's worse, these children, out of obedience and fear of being scolded or beaten for not listening to their mothers, get on the seat, but most of them time they just kneel on the seat to watch the window's view, or stand on the seat and dirty it with their shoes.
Just the other day, I was on the MRT and this woman came onto the train with a few members of her family. The middle-aged but fit man beside me and gave up his seat for her, but she instructed her child to sit on the seat. The girl, probably of age 5, got up onto the seat and stood there pressing her nose against the glass and screeched about the view to her family. Since this woman looked both obese and pregnant, I decided to give up my seat for her too, but instead she asked her other child, around the same age as the girl, to sit on the seat I just gave up for her. The two children then proceeded to talk loudly, like all young children do, about the view outside while dirtying the seat with their shoes.
Other friends of mine have experienced worse scenarios, whereby the children will leave their bags onto the seat and start playing with the poles or running up to random passengers and disturbing them. In these scenarios, you, the person who has just given up your seat to a bag that weights probably less than 500 grams, will usually not scold the child out of respect for the parent or just because you don't wish to disturb the peace of the surrounding area.
Also, it does not matter who the person who gave up the seat was. Students can be tired from carrying a 10kg schoolbag all day or on their way home, people working in offices can be tired from facing the computer all day at work, people working in retail are tired from standing all day long in uncomfortable shoes. Just because we gave up our seats does not mean we are less tired than the people beside us - it simply means that we were being kind and considerate.
What right do these women have to assume that we are not tired and force their children to sit? I have given up my seat to this 50-year-old-looking lady and she told her 12 year old daughter sit on the seat, scolding her and almost beating her if she doesn't want to follow orders.
I can understand if these women are concerned about their children, but the children do not appreciate their actions. If they really want their children to sit, I would rather they sit down themselves and ask the children to sit on their lap. Children like to be carried and hugged by their parents. One of the reasons why they create such a ruckus is because they want the attention of their parents. When the parents leave the children on the seat they get bored and feel the need to talk loudly to grab the attention of their parents. Obviously, if the mother really wants to let her child sit, I would rather she let them sit on her lap instead. This way, both parent and child can sit and it would be better than giving up your seat to the lady because the seat is shared by 2 people, or more, if it's a pregnant lady with a child sitting on her lap.
I hope that these ladies in question will understand that this is one of the many reasons why people don't want to give up their seat to you anymore - or rather, the reasons why people don't want to give up their seats to your 5 year old child or their bags. Maybe you will think twice before wasting a kind person's efforts on your children, of whom probably would rather hold on to you while standing with you rather than sit on the seat alone.

I’m tired =/ I’ll probably go rest or something. Oh by the way i created a facebook group about this shit and if you’re interested in becoming admin or sth just come and tell me yeah? ._.

new term rwar?

1st day of sch after hols...

i hate you

i hate you cuz u’re so fucking weak. stupid kirara. so fucking weak.
Then i realised that Goldfish must be really high and excited creatures, seeing new stuff every 3 seconds. It's like. Ouh hay it's a treasure chest. OMG BUBBLES COMING OUT *turns around* HOLYSHIT IT'S A HUMAN *swims back to hide* and then OUH HAY IT'S A TREASURE CHEST! If his personality is that of a rich brat then i would rather get some ugly guy with boils on his face or sth ._. ergh.

plus, the more imperfect a person is, the more he will try to cater to your expectations to make himself feel closer to your definition of a perfect man instead of just sitting around waiting for you to start revolving around him.

This is probably why i don’ chase after idols cuzs i know after the event, they will will just turn back into asshole.

LOL

CCN day coming up. haunted hause ftw 8D

QX and I have like this MacDonald's Theory. You'll end up replacing it sooner or paying more in maintenance costs than if you had spent more on good quality in the beginning. Plus, you'll enjoy the nicer product throughout its lifetime, rather than cringing every time you use something that is falling apart." -- bretts
2) Don't spend money on a credit card that you can't afford to pay back. The interest and late payments can put you in a hole that can take you years to pay back.
3) Compound interest is your friend. Saving even a relatively small percentage of your income each year, starting at 18, can leave you in much better shape by the time you're ready to retire.
4) If you're working with someone who can be bargained down on a price, it seldom hurts to try. The exceptions may be someone of exceptional talent, someone you're going to have to work with on a regular basis, or someone whose help you're going to need in a timely manner.
5) Try to keep enough cash to pay your bills for at least six months in reserve. It will make your life immeasurably easier if your car breaks down, you have a surprise medical expense, or you get an opportunity to get a fantastic bargain.
6) Dogs are fantastic animals. They deserve to be called man's best friend. But, if you are under the impression that you just need to buy a collar and a bag of dry dog food every month and you're set, you're in for a rude awakening. Dogs tend to be much more expensive and time consuming than you'd think.
7) "Don't have any children or get married until you can support and love yourself first." -- D-Vega
8) "Don't trade your vehicle in on a new one just a couple of years after buying it. Pay it off and ride it until (the wheels fall off), all while putting that car payment in the bank." -- The_Muck_Man
9) College is a lot more work than high school and your job will be a lot more work than college was.
10) Start looking for a new job BEFORE you quit your old job.
11) Don't take any job that only pays commission unless you're either an expert salesman or ready to spend months working without pay to gain the skills you need to become an expert salesman.
12) Ideally, you should choose something you love to do so much that you'd do it for free and find a way to make it into a career.
13) When asking for a salary, always have a figure you want in mind -- and then ask for significantly more than that number. That way, you may get more than what you want and even if you don't, you have a better chance of getting the amount you had in mind than if you had blurted it out right off the bat.
14) There's no shame in taking any honest job.
15) Getting fired or laid off isn't the end of the world. To the contrary, a lot of people, myself included, have moved on to bigger and better thingsafter being laid off or fired.
16) If you're not happy with the job market, the government, or the schools in your area, remember that you can always move to another city or another state. Lots of Americans do just that every year.
17) "I wish that I had known to check the oil in my vehicles and to have changed it regularly. It would have saved a lot of money that I spent on repairs -- directly due to my lack of changing the oil per the mechanic." -- Ann H.
18) Lefty loosey, righty tighty. Turn it to the left to loosen it and to the right to tighten it.
19) Don't ever open a hot radiator cap or you can get seriously burned.
20) Here are 3 keys to keeping a reasonably clean house: don't leave any dishes in the sink overnight; every time you have a full load of clothes, wash 'em, and take out the trash every time the can is full. You do those things, wipe up your messes, and vacuum when the floor gets filthy, and you'll keep things reasonably neat.
21) If you use a computer even semi-regularly, it's worth your time to take a typing class.
22) It's not enough to buy a gun and stick it in a drawer like a lucky talisman. You need to learn to use the gun.
23) When you move, sell, throw away, and give away as much as possible or you'll just end up moving boxes from one closet, where they have been sitting for five years, to another closet, where they'll be sitting for the next five years.
24) Don't ever loan your friends money if you want to keep them as friends. After all, if they were good with money and were likely to pay you back in a timely manner, they probably wouldn't need the loan in the first place. If they really need the money, you want to help them, and you can afford it -- just give it to them.
25) Women should never allow a boyfriend to take naked pictures. If it's on film, you shouldn't be surprised if it goes public in one form or fashion after a break-up.
26) When men have a problem and they tell you about it, they want to know how to fix it. When women have a problem and they tell you about it, they just want you to listen.
27) If you ever get arrested, don't say anything until you talk to a lawyer.
28) If you don't know the agenda of the people you're getting your news from, then you don't have the information you need to know if what they're telling you is true.
29) Government is a necessary evil. It's best to keep its tentacles out of your life and out of our society as much as possible.
30) "When you're 18, you worry about what everybody is thinking of you; when you're 40, you don't give a darn what anybody thinks of you; when you're 60, you realize nobody's been thinking about you at all." --Daniel Amen
31) Trust your instincts. They're usually right.
32) If you think a doctor's wrong, don't hesitate to ask for a second opinion. Your health is vitally important and doctors make mistakes just as often as anyone else.
33) Don't ever say anything that may offend someone who is going to be serving you food. You never know what they may stick in it when you're not looking.
34) If you get into a business deal with someone who goes to unusual lengths to convince you of how honest or Christian they are, watch your wallet and make sure you have an iron clad contract. They "doth protest too much."
35) "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." - Jim Rohn
36) If you want to do something exceptional, don't expect anyone to believe you can do it until you've done it. Unless you're already perceived as exceptional, most people won't believe in you. That's doubly true for the people who know you best and have therefore seen you at your most mediocre, like your parents, family, and friends.
37) If you don't feel like you're being treated fairly by a company, don't hesitate to ask for a manager. Oftentimes, a manager has gotten to where he is in a company because he is good at pleasing customers like you in the first place.
38) "You are not invulnerable and you are not going to live forever. You can (make) mistakes at 18 that you will have to live with for the rest of your life." -- Don_cos
39) Nobody owes you a living.
40) You are not a victim.
41) If you just assume that every conspiracy theory is wrong without even examining it, you will be right 99.99% of the time.
42) "It's likely that whatever challenges you have faced in your life currently could have been avoided but some better decisions upstream." -- Tony Robbins
43) At a minimum, keep a basic "to do" list, a schedule, and a budget.
44) "Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better." -- Pat Riley
45) "If you want your life to have impact, focus it! Stop dabbling. Stop trying to do it all. Do less. Prune away even good activities and do only that which matters most. Never confuse activity with productivity. You can be busy without a purpose, but what's the point?" -- Rick Warren
46) Ironically, successful people tend to fail a lot more than unsuccessful people. They also tend to ask a lot more questions.
47) When you consider Christianity, keep in mind this classic quotation from C.S. Lewis, "If I, being what I am, can consider that I am in some sense a Christian, why should the different vices of those people in the next pew prove that their religion is mere hypocrisy and convention?"
48) You beat 50% of the people by just showing up. You beat another 40% by working hard. The last 10% is a dogfight in the free enterprise system.
49) There are at least six key areas of your life: health, career, romantic, social, money, and religion. If you neglect any one of those areas, it will harm you in the other areas and keep you from being as happy as you can be otherwise.
50) When trying to decide between two closely matched alternatives, always have a bias towards action. In the long run, it'll lead to your having a lot more experience, great stories, and a richer, fuller life.
Also see,
40 MORE Things Every 18-Year-Old Should Know

Back From Taiwan

lol. sry i didnt tell u guys that i went to taiwan ._.

but anyway, i went there for 7 days. 1st and last 2 or 3 days are free – as in you walk around freely without a tourgroup.

so… yeah.

for pictures, go here:

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=147542&id=508127363

and

http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=147577&id=508127363

:D

enjoy the images from 19th to 26th flapflapflap~~~

if i’m not lazy enuff i shall tell you about what happened on each day?
