ABS-CBN’s newest primetime offering, “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo,” a new tale that will defy the laws of loves will finally air on January 18, 2010.

Star Cinema's "Paano Na Kaya?" showing in Philippine theaters this January 27

Tiyak na kikiligin na naman ang mga fans ng tambalang Kim Chiu at Gerald Anderson sa nalalapit na pagpapalabas ng Star Cinema movie na “Paano Na Kaya?” sa direksyon ni Ruel S. Bayani.

Ang “Paano Na Kaya?” na pinagbibidahan ng pinakasikat na onscreen love team sa bansa na si Kim Chiu at Gerald Anderson. Simula January 27, 2010 ay mapapanood na sa mahigit 100 theaters sa buong bansa ang unang pelikulang handog ng Star Cinema.

Talagang swerte ang Kimerald love team sa mga proyekto nila sa ABS-CBN. May ilang buwan ding hindi nakitang magkasama ang magkatambal sa TV man o sa pelikula pagkatapos ng kanilang teleseryeng “Tayong Dalawa.” “I’ve Fallen For You” na pinalabas noong 2007 ang huling pelikulang pinagtambalan ni Kim Chiu at Gerald Anderson. Kaya naman sa pagpapalabas ng “Paano Na Kaya?” ngayong Enero, tiyak akong patok ito sa takilya.

Kasama rin sa pelikula sina Ricky Davao, Rio Locsin, Rica Peralejo, Melissa Ricks, Zsa-zsa Padilla, Robi Domingo at marami pang iba.

After the hit television series, “Tayong Dalawa,” the popular onscreen team-up of Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson has been in a hiatus. Towards the end of 2009, the two were seen doing separate projects. Kim Chiu’s latest project is “I Love You, Goodbye,” Star Cinema’s official entry to the 35th Metro Manila Film Festival while Gerald Anderson was last seen on television series “Tiyagong Akyat” and on an episode of “Maalala Mo Kaya.”

Both Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson are thankful about their past, current and upcoming projects with ABS-CBN. For 2010, the Kimerald love team would be seen on ABS-CBN’s newest television series “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” with Kris Aquino and on Star Cinema’s first offering for the year, “Paano Na Kaya?”

“Bilang opening ng Star Cinema for 2010 siyempre ‘yung pressure andon pero me and Kim are very confident sa movie at sa bagong soap namin. Sobra po kaming confident for these projects,” Gerald Anderson said.

Kim expressed her heartfelt gratitude to ABS-CBN and Star Cinema for her flourishing showbiz career. “Syempre masaya po kami and sobrang thankful po kami sa ABS-CBN at Star Cinema sa tiwalang ibinigay sa amin na bigyan kami ng malaking teleserye at ng malaking movie kaya gagalingan namin and siyempre sobrang confident kami,” the actress said.

“Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” will also star Kris Aquino, Gabby Concepcion, Albert Martinez, Coco Martin at Gina Pareño and will premiere on ABS-CBN Primetime Bida this January 18.

On the other hand, Star Cinema’s “Paano Na Kaya?” will be showing in Philippine theaters on January 27.

“I Love You, Goodbye” is a story of a man that marries for the second time, and his wife appears to be happy to be part of his family. But her new stepdaughter doesn’t take to her very well, and to make things worse, an old flame returns seeking to rekindle their love.

“I Love You, Goodbye” is showing in Philippine cinemas on December 25, 2009.

Kim Chiu also went home with the “It Girl” award, an award which means that she is one of the “Stars of today who we predict will make it through 15 years.”

Other Kapamilya stars including Piolo Pascual was the runaway winner for the Sexiest Male star and got a “Legend” award while Angel Locsin won as the Sexiest Female star.

ROUND 1 – Neil Ray Ramos of the Manila Bulletin reported that some fans of the Kimerald love team ganged up on “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition” housemate Niña Jose via Twitter following her recent revelation that she had a relationship of sorts with the Gerald Anderson. Niña Jose claimed that Gerald Anderson courted her while they were shooting for the TV series “Your Song Presents My Only Hope” and “My Girl” to the point that they developed a “mutual understanding.”

ROUND 2 – ABS-CBN News reported that fans of the Anderson – Kim Chiu “love team” greatly opposed the planned on-screen pairing between Geronimo and Anderson, and some openly criticized Geronimo for it. Sarah Geronimo said she was initially alarmed at fans’ violent reactions against a proposed film starring her and actor Gerald Anderson.

In other news, the Aquino family is already in the process of casting actors and actresses who will play key roles on the upcoming Cory Aquino biopic. Kris Aquino said: ““My sisters Ballsy and Pinky like Jodi Sta. Maria and Angelica Panganiban, respectively. For Viel, it has to be Bianca Gonzalez. ‘Noy picks John Lloyd Cruz. Me? I would love Kim Chiu to play the part.”

The hottest love team in the country today, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, or more popularly known as “Kimerald” was given the German Moreno Youth Achievement Award during the 57th Gabi ng Parangal of the FAMAS or Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences last October 18, 2009 held at the PAGCOR Grand Theatre in Sucat Paranaque.

The couple were present during the awarding ceremonies but failed to claim their awards as the couple needed to leave early because of their TV commitments. Rumors even spread saying that Kim and Gerald didn’t want to share the stage with Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica who also received the same award.

Meanwhile, fans of the Kimerald love team should fret no more as a new TV series starring the couple is currently in the works. “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” will be Kimerald’s newest project with ABS-CBN, which will also star the Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.
