Ever stare at a blinking cursor waiting for inspiration to strike, only to realize you’ve spent 40 minutes Googling “best pens for productivity”? AI is great at brainstorming titles, hooks, frameworks, and outlines to kickstart your creativity.

4. Useful for Repetitive Work

AI shines at summaries, repurposing content, and converting formats. Blog → LinkedIn → YouTube script → newsletter? Easy. It’s like content recycling—just greener and faster.

The Cons of AI-Generated Content

1. It Can Sound… Generic

Let’s be honest. AI sometimes writes like a corporate robot who’s trying too hard to be inspirational. “Unlock your potential with innovative synergies that empower scalable transformation.” Please no.

2. Accuracy? Questionable.

AI occasionally invents facts, misquotes statistics, or confidently states things that simply aren’t true. This is called hallucination, which is a fun term until it winds up in your legal proposal.

3. Creativity Still Needs Humans

AI is great at remixing what already exists. But raw story, emotion, originality, and voice—that’s still a human superpower.

4. Ethical Gray Area

Using AI raises questions about originality, copyright, and fair use. If AI is trained on artists’ and writers’ work without permission, who owns the result? The debate is still very much live (and very spicy).

1. Styled Photoshoot – We brought in photographers and models to demonstrate how Élan can be used as a professional photography studio. From portrait sessions to editorial shoots, we captured the venue’s ability to serve as a beautiful backdrop for any creative vision.
2. Live Event – To fully illustrate the venue’s capacity for gatherings, we hosted an event, allowing us to capture real moments of people interacting with the space. This gave a genuine, lived-in feel to the final images, helping potential clients envision their own events at Élan.

Piehole Pizzeria fits right into this eclectic area, combining the charm of a local shop with big-city flavor. The goal of the shoot was to capture the essence of what makes Piehole Pizzeria a staple of the community: its bold flavors, mouth-watering pizzas, and that inviting, casual atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

Behind the Lens: Photographing Pizza (and more) in All Its Glory

Capturing food—especially pizza—presents some unique challenges. You want the cheese to look melty, the crust crispy, and the toppings fresh and vibrant. But it’s more than just snapping a picture; it’s about telling a story. The smell of freshly baked dough, the texture of bubbling cheese, and the vibrant colors of the toppings all needed to come through in each shot.

From their classic cheese slice to the heartier specialty pies, the shoot showcased a variety of their offerings. One of my personal favorites was capturing the moment right when a slice was lifted, strings of gooey cheese trailing behind, evoking that familiar anticipation of taking the first bite.

Lighting & Composition: The Art of Pizza Photography

To make the pizza the star of the show, I worked with studio light to create a natural look that emphasizes the textures and colors. Positioning the pizza at just the right angle to highlight its layers, I also played with different compositions to capture the spirit of a casual dining experience. Close-up shots of the toppings, and wide shots featuring entire pies all helped to illustrate the diverse range of offerings.

As the shoot wrapped up, I couldn’t help but feel excited about how these photos will represent Piehole Pizzeria on DoorDash. They’ve been a long-time favorite in the Tulsa community, and now, thanks to DoorDash, even more people will get to experience their delicious New York-style pizza.

After a busy stretch managing event logistics, I finally had the opportunity to unwind with a few days of adventure aboard Royal Caribbean’s “Mariner of the Seas.” This incredible ship became my floating getaway as we set sail toward the vibrant destination of Cozumel, Mexico.

From the moment we boarded, the ship’s excitement was contagious. While many were lounging by the pool, I spent my time playing card games with friends, enjoying the company and laughter as we sailed through the open waters. The ship itself offered plenty of activities, but it was these moments shared with good friends and fellow business owners that made the trip so special.

In Cozumel, I had the chance to visit a stunning private beach resort. The turquoise waters and warm sun made for the perfect setting to snorkel and swim with tropical fish—an experience that was both peaceful and exhilarating. After a morning spent exploring the colorful underwater world, I indulged in a 5-star lunch at the resort’s restaurant, where the flavors were as rich as the scenery around me.

This cruise was the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, giving me the chance to recharge and return refreshed for the next challenge.
