Halloween getaway …

On the verge of Santi’s hurling wind crushing the metro (19th typhoon that hit Philippines), weird though yet we had decided to get into an adventure of a fancy weekend getaway. Santi was then heading northwest and finally leaving the country when we started packing our things and headed to Outrigger Resort in Anilao, Batangas, we had to endure an almost 4 hours travel to get us there.

What the resort has to offer ...

The resort was not intended for beach goers who typically crave for a nice, white-sand beach to swim and bum, rather it is for underwater lovers who ache to explore its tranquility and serenity that awaits them to unveil. Harry Potter 6 - The Half Blood Prince [July 18, 2009]

It was Saturday again, meaning? Movie time! It was Harry's turn to show some glitz on its 6th series (The Half Blood Prince). It was the first weekend of its premier, as expected the movie house were packed and seats are scarce. I’ve been waiting for this since last year, since it was postponed so it was like “now or never”. I really wanted to watch the movie on that very day and so I did, I was able to watched it (*wink). I’ve already read the book and even finished book 7. My expectations were soaring, hahaha! I was really curious on how they’ll produce the movie base on the book as it was described. I was so entranced and excited that I wanted to watch it in action on a big screen.

Then … there I was feeling bored as the movie plays. Dah! It was not like what I expected, yes the story was really meant to be like that, more on discoveries and less in fighting actions, yet the best part that I’ve been waiting to see has been cut out! Darn! I was dismayed. The end...

Transformer II [June 27, 2009]

It was Saturday and thanks to the weather, fair and sunny for a little gimmick. Over the weekdays in our usual work routine, coding while chatting, my colleagues planned to watch the over rated movie “Transformer II” (we are a BIG fan of digital inspired movies *wink). The details of the plan… Meeting Place – Trinonma, Meeting Time - 4pm and who are invited? Sysdevs and friends *big smile.

The “meet up” was a little late from the said time but witnessing the scenario, I thought to myself, there will be no difference even if we were a bit early or on time. The cinema ticketing booth was packed with a snake-like line of movie goers. It was like every teenage transformer fanatic nearby came to watch the movie. So we dutifully waited for our turn. By the time we were able to purchase our tickets it was already around 7pm and what was worse we discovered that the earliest available time to watch was 10:30! Phew! Amazing race [Tarlac ~ Dagupan ~ Bolinao] (May 1 – 3, 2009)

It’s here at last! The ventures and excitements we experienced when we had our amazing race.

Alas! SUMMER is here! The IT department took the holiday opportunity to gather and rebuild the team bonding. The higher pips organized an amazing race for the whole group which was garnered with ample of prizes. We were divided into eight groups of five that were labeled by colors (I belonged to the pink team). The rules of the game were patterned similarly from the amazing race game seen in the television. Road block, intersection, yield, detour and the like were implemented by the game master and point system was based on the shortest time to finish a task and eventually the race.

Zoobic Safari Adventure (April 11, 2009)

It was almost four years ago since I last visited Subic, that was when we had our tour in “Mabuhay Satellite” as part of our summer educational program. We did not have the chance to explore and enjoy the adventure and beaches it has to offer, it was indeed a half-cooked experience. Now that I have the chance to go back as much I want to, and Black Saturday seems to the best day, I and Jojo’s relatives experienced the thrilling-mouth-gaping Zoobic Safari tiger adventure.

Neither one of us (Jojo, Jen2x, Jovet, Ann2x, and Me) knows how to get to Subic, so we did not dare to bring with us a private vehicle instead we chose to commute (baka kasi mawala kame…hehehe). It was the best decision made, we didn’t expect it to be a 3-hours drive (at nakakatakot pa ang daan lalo na sa gabi.), but then we arrived safely at Olangapo at around 8am and about 9am at SBMA proper.

...I SURVIVED SAGADA!
It's a dream come true for me, i long to visit sagada since i first heard of its beautiful place. Now, i've gone and explored its deepest sanctuary, breath taking sceneries, and the "miss your half life" activies it offers. It was truly a satisfying action-fun-filled weekend getaway.

We were 7 in a pack (officemates and anthony), plus 3 guides, total of 10 adventurers, we left manila approximately 9pm friday night and arrived in sagada at around 7:30am the following day. (Hinde naman nakakapagod ang byahe ... tulog kasi kaming lahat hehehehehe ). We had a little rest before we begun our tour to unveil it's beautiful history.

13 years old father

This might be a little late as it happened two weeks ago, nevertheless i still want to share this to the public.

A news broke out last February 13 in UK about a 13-years old boy who just turned to be a father to a four-days old baby. This hits the headlines of their publishing papers and media, because once again (yes this isn't the first) there has been an adolescent father.

Alfie (the father) who looks more like eight and his girlfriend Chantelle Steadman (15 years old) , decided against an abortion after discovering that she is pregnant. They stand firm on their disposition to have a baby, yet they are just worried about how people would react. (Ha! Great!)

Chantelle gave birth on Monday night after a five-hour labour at Eastbourne Hospital, East Sussex. They named their 7lb 3oz baby Maisie Roxanne.

Maisie was conceived after Chantelle and Alfie -- just 12 at the time -- had a single night of unprotected sex.

Sceneries from my hometown herself. It is just gratifying to value and cherish your own hometown, isn't? Before i need to go back to my busy life again, i made it to a point that i will take with me some memories of my own hometown's view, for my own benefit in that case c*,), i want to remember and always see the frequent places in my hometown that i use to visit and often spend time - Fort Pilar, Town, Boulivard, and etc. Still, my time is not enough to visit all of them, maybe i'll get all those when i'll go back
