For spring I have visions of doing something fun with flowers so after an unsuccessful quest to find a florist where I could park in the Pentagon City area I went to Harris Teeter and got a few bunches. This is the first of a few I’m working on processing.

Woke up to discover an impromptu photowalk being planned in Eastern Market so I quickly got up and made my way over. Weather was perfect – got into the 60s – and good company. Yesterday, while catching up on my blog reading, I came across a new one by Scott Kelby that talked about this wordpress theme from Elegant Themes. I had nothing to do last night but watch Idol so I thought I’d try it out. I still have to clean it up, add the photos from previous posts so they work with the thumbnail script, I want to monkey around with my header, etc but it’s much better than what I had so I made it live.

Turns out great minds think alike too because fellow DC photog Marc Benton also redid his site last night in the same theme.

Today’s photo is more from my Saturday excursion to the Air & Space museum – this of a fountain in hibernation right outside the building.
