Its been a long time since i added something new here, so this post comes with a New Drupal Module i recently did.
My SMS Mantra SMS Gateway is a small addon Module to SMS Framework which will allow you to add My SMS Mantra as a SMS Gateway to your drupal website. The module would be released very soon.

Current Status:
Tested for Integrity with sms_bulk, sms_user, actions and the same is currently functional on Kashipur.in

Industries in Kashipur leading to chaos

Hi all this is Atul from Faridabad
These upcoming factories in Kashipur are leading to traffic jams and many other problems like increasing polution and decreasing ground water etc. I think kashipur need change in the attitude of its people.These factories which are being built never going to improve employment in the area as in these factories 95% employees are labor only 5 % people works at office so it will only leads to slum development and rise in truck and other heavy vehicle movement. If one really want to grow the city and improve the employement condition in area our netas and industrialist must bring need change in approch they should service industry like IT/ BPO in the State..as it will provide a good employment opportunity to city or state's large bunch of educated unemployedyouth............A

Kashipur need contribution from its own people

Hi
as we know our city is growing but its growth is not that fast as compare to the nearby rudrapur or Haldwani.
When in U.P. Kashipur was the biggest industrial town than Rudrapur and Haldwani bt right now the city is left behind in the race.
This is a well known fact that Kashipur's people are not underachiver than any city they hv proved there talent in each and every field e.g. in Media, Film Tv or IT.
Than why our city is not able to keep pace with the time Why our Politician are not making further attemp to grow the city's infrastructure.
Projects are getting started but not moving in any direction live example is Dhela Bridge it has become Beerbal Ki Khichdi.
This is my humble request to all users and native of the city please come forward.
Dont only complent over this site about the bad things in ur city This is not a complent Box.
Provide the sollutions/sugestions for the growth of city Do something whatever u can like Abhishek did by making this site.

I really want to appreciate to Mr. Abhishek Nager for this website,This is really helpful to know about Kashipur and about its culture. Its good to see about this Kashipur Photo Contest by this people can share their photos and thoughts and what i say about Kashipur,Its a really very beautiful city and nice place.Always when i come to Kashipur its never be difficult to find something here.I really like the places Girital and Drona Sagar these are nice place to visit and also i would like to say about Railway Satiation,its also good and cleaned well with all services.

Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib

Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib is located in the city of Kashipur, in Mohalla Pakka Kot, near Nagnath Mandir and Uday Raj College is a sacred place for sikhs. It is about one km away from the bus stand and the railway Station of Kashipur and located on the Ramnagar - Manpur bypass road. Gurdwara Sri Nankana Sahib is associated with the first Guru, Guru Nanak Dev ji who came here after having visited Nanak Mata and Nanak Puri. At that time, the Dhela river used to cause havoc in the city by flooding each year. When Guru ji reached this place, the local people were on the verge of leaving this place for safer grounds. Guru ji told them to be patient and advised them to remain there only. Thereafter, on the riverside, he started singing kirtan. As the kirtan was in progress, the river rose. Guru ji performed the ardas and the river, after touching Guru ji's feet, receded, moved to a distance away from the town. It is said that since then, the river has never flooded the city again. It is also said that earlier the name of the river was Swaran river and that when Guru ji threw a clod (dhela) into the river the name of the river was changed to Dhela river.

About Drona Sagar Lake

Drona Sagar is believed to be associated with Guru Dronacharya, teacher of the Pandavas and the Kauravas in the epic Mahabhrata. Many believe that the Drona Sagar was created by the Pandavas as a Guru Dakshina (fee) for Dronacharya. The Skand Purana states that the water of Drona Sagar is as holy as that of the Ganges.
At present a huge pond with lotus flowers is situated here. The pond is surrounded by temples of various deities. Earlier, there were 32 temples around the periphery of this pond. The excavated site at Drona Sagar is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India
