Wichita, Kan. — Wichita’s 104.5 The Fox will be roughing it – or should we say “ruffing” it ¬– by enduring rain, cold, gloom of night and whatever else may come to raise money for Wichita’s only no kill animal shelter, Lifeline Animal Placement and Protection (LAPP), when Jan and Phil, the station’s morning show duo, camp out in the All Paws Pet Center parking lot in Derby beginning Thursday, November 8.

Heisman Awards Luncheon to Honor State’s High School Athletes

Wichita, Kan. — Top student athletes in the state will be honored November 6 at the Wendy’s High School Heisman Awards Luncheon. The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at a new venue, The Dugan Gorges Center on the Newman University campus, 3100 W. McCormick in Wichita. A $500 scholarship from Wendy’s will be given to a nominating school.
