Our client is a leading global provider of multi-enterprise solutions and infrastructure. They help speed up and secure business interactions both inside and outside the enterprise by optimizing the way information is moved, managed and protected. We are searching for Advanced Technical Support Engineers. Their projects are multicultural and ongoing.

You will be involved in activities like:
Provide advanced complex troubleshooting assistance, problem replication / duplication, and diagnostic support;
Provide advanced technical support for both the application and environment including operating system, database, and network;
Lead accounts through multiple issue resolution including customer meetings, status reports, and updates;
Respond to phone, email, and web ticket customer issues within target service levels;
Act as a gateway between the customer and the next level of resources; ensuring issues have met minimal requirements for escalation;
Maintain current working knowledge of the company's products and technology;
Document all customer contacts and activities in CRM;
Provide beta/sprint support for assigned products;
Travel to customer sites to assist in problem diagnostics;
Perform after hours pager/cell phone support on a rotating basis.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Cybernetics would be an advantage;
Desire to learn network connectivity and Communication protocols B2B experience preferred, previous experience with the company's products is highly desirable;
Experience with programming languages including Java, C++ and Perl advantageous;
Experience in EDI, Rosettanet, ebXML, XML, EDIINT, AS1 and AS2 desirable;
Experience in Oracle and SQL a plus;
Knowledge of client server technology a plus;
Previous Support Experience Background in Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Linux beneficial;
Physical presence required in the office during normal business hours and occasionally outside of the normal business hours;
Work Schedule - Flexibility to maintain 24 hour department coverage including after hours, and weekends as needed.

Requirements:

- The game we are working on is called Simraceway (www.simraceway.com), it is a car racing game with a heavy accent on simulation.
- It is made for our client - IgniteGT - a company from San Francisco, USA.
- The game is IgniteGT's only game project. The client is not a game development house, but rather focuses on this game only.
- The game is not a shelf game, but an online one. PC only, on Windows.
- The game is based on an older game - rFactor (from ISI) - the source code was bought by IgniteGT and build upon.
- At the moment the game is in Beta (candidate is encouraged to download it from the website) and available to the public, but this doesn't mean it is near to completion - there are a lot of features to be added or improved, and being an online game, it will be continuously built upon. To be noted that the client raised funds of around 17.5 million $ for this project form investors, so a lot of development of the game is yet to come.
- The code is written in C++ (currently used in Visual Studio 2005), using its own rendering engine, based on DirecX 9
- The UI interface is written in Flash (interfaced with the game through a framework called Scaleform GFx)
- Gemini's team is made up of 6 C++ programmers (client-side), 2 Flash programmers (UI client side), 2 Ruby on Rails programmers (server-side) and a QA.
- On the Engineering side, except for Gemini's team, there are only another C++ programmer (in Australia), a RoR programmer (SF, USA) and a Director of Engineering (SF, USA).
- The art, product, customer service and management teams are mainly in the US.
- The fact that we are the main engineering force behind the project gives us a lot of freedom when it comes to writing the code, and it also means that we need to be able to work in all areas of the existing code

Requirements:

- At least 3 years of professional experience as a software developer;
