Welcome and may God bless Baby L! He is so adorable and was such a sweetie. Doesn’t he have the most fabulous head of hair? Big sister was also a pleasure – she’s grown so fast, is beautiful and so smart. Love this entire family including, of course, their fabulous furry members, Rocco and Max.

Luckily, even after the longest of winters, color returns. Thankfully too, we will soon spring ahead and get an extra hour to appreciate it!

In the meantime though, I find color wherever I can. So happy to know and love this family. They sure know how to bring it when it comes to color, every session, no matter what the season.

Made a return trip to get his busy dad into the mix, but I know it was worth it. Capturing these memories are so important.

As you can see, he’s a baby brother too and his big sister was a great little helper. One of my favorite images from the session is of her shushing her baby brother to keep him calm while I got back into position to photograph them. As an added little bonus…I got the yawn. Love it! If I need an assistant on my next shoot, I know who to call!

Of course I just love it when I’m ready and able to catch a newborn smile. To me, it’s the pot-of-gold at the end of a rainbow. Happy to get this one in his mama’s arms. Sweet!

And now for a little public service announcement…the window of opportunity to photograph your newborn is so small and only happens once in their lifetime. Whether with me or another qualified and experienced (and safety-conscious) newborn photographer, my best advice is…don’t miss the opportunity. These sessions capture fleeting moments with your sweet little newborn, and often precious interactions with their new siblings too. The beautiful images captured can then be displayed on your walls and preserved in a premium session album for your family to enjoy and cherish forever. I’ve never heard a single uttering of regret from parents that have experienced a newborn session with me – and believe me – the sessions ain’t easy. It’s hot, it’s long and I’m a stickler for details, but we do have fun, we laugh, we sweat, we bond. :) The end result is always worth it. The only regret to be had is to let the opportunity pass. This, I know.
