students illustrated pictures of each season in small groups. They then recorded different things they learned about their assigned season from various books and lessons that have already been taught throughout the school year. This is an educational podcast for young students who are learning about the weather, activities, trees, and holidays during the different seasons. Check out my podcast This is a a podcast about germs and the importance of washing your hands. I will use this podcast at the beginning of the school year when we talk about hand washing and the nurse comes in a does an activity. This is also a good podcast to show in the middle of the year as a review when the counselor does a lesson on washing your hands. This is a cute and entertaining podcast for the students.

TeacherTube http://www.teachertube.com/view_video.php?viewkey=801fc7473840b5b16df&page=1&viewtype=&category=. It is called "Ordinary People Do Extraordinary Things". This video is about ordinary people who made mistakes and had to work hard to get where they are now. They are all famous people. It reminds me to not give up and even Michael Jordan and Walt Disney and John Lennon were not noticed right away for their talents and were discourages, but they all kept working hard to achieve their dreams. It was a very inspirational video and a good one to show to your students when they say that phrase we all hate "I can't".

Two-Minute Movie: Council websites, I found this neat resource called Create-a-Graph. You can make a bar graph, pie graph, line graph, along with other types of graphs. It walks you through the steps for making the graph. It is meant for students and would be a great way for them to display their information in a visual way. Check it out at http://nces.ed.gov/nceskids/graphing/classic/bar.asp.
