The hypocrite dolphin butchers always use culture as a justification for their massacres.

The culture defense just doesn’t fly and the reason I think it doesn’t fly is this is really just about money.

As the documentary clearly shows the hypocrites of Taiji are capturing these dolphins to ship them off to sea parks like Sea World or Hakejima in Japan.

These lucky dolphins are shipped off to these parks and forced to perform day after day for stupid kids and families that pay good money for the show.

The Hypocrites of Taiji make roughly $150,000 per dolphin! It is all about the money!

The forum poster asks if Interac is in bed with Gaijinpot. The answer to the question is yes as they advertise through them.

Any underhanded or dirty practices English teaching companies pull that forum posters try to expose are willingly censored out of existence by Gaijinpot.

Comment #1 is talking about a famous case where a guy was fired from Interac because his baby died and he missed work.

I think Comment #2 summarizes what Gaijinpot does really well.

Adrian Jones Says:
April 20th, 2009 at 7:49 pm
I sent a PM to Michael, after my reply to his post on Gaijinpot was deleted,I was very angry about this getting pulled as I had a similar experience with a children`s eikaiwa`Kitty Club`,when my mother passed away last August : http://www.letsjapan.org/forum/viewtopi … 1&t=256276
my reply to Michael was to tell of my experience [self censoring the name of the company,as they advertise on Gaijinpot] and providing links to the union who helped me [http://freeter-union.org/union],I was disgusted that my reply was deleted by Gaijinpot.
I think some good points have been made on here, why would Interac need a signed resignation if what they were doing wasn`t illegal ! I think you`ve got a good case Michael.
I have asked Gaijinpot for an apology for pulling my post,I considered it in extremely poor taste,I also asked if they were now censoring links to unions, guess what, they pulled my post yet again !

Johnny Says:
April 21st, 2009 at 2:37 pm
Gaijinpot is definitely not No.1 for foreigners in Japan, given the way that they continually censor posts that expose companies that treat foreign workers poorly.

Seems somebody posted the list of 86 GEOS schools scheduled for closure in the next 6 months on the Gaijinpot forum and the cads who run the site pulled the thread.

Gee wouldn’t this information be useful for teachers and students?? Or is it better these future unemployed teachers keep being told everything is fine right up until their school is closed and they’re suddenly out of work?? Sounds just like what happened during the Nova implosion. Gaijinpot kept pulling the Nova threads right up until the company went supernova. Ya baby everything’s fine.

Don’t the cads at Gaijinpot feel guilty they’re denying potentially critical information from reaching the foreigners in Japan who need it?

The link to the Expat Japan forum has an English translation of schools that are rumored to be on their way out.

In my personal opinion you shouldn’t rely on Gaijinpot for any of your Japan information. Sites like Lets Japan and the Expat Japan forum do a better job of getting you the information you need. It’s also not censored like communist China.

The reviews are uniformly bad. Should make you think twice before considering working for them.

In an interesting and related recent development, “Public schools here [Kashiwa, Chiba] have been unable to start their native speaker-taught English classes this school year after the city’s board of education was accused of violating labor laws with foreign language teachers.”. Basically ALTs employed by the Kashiwa Board of Education were being taken advantage of and screwed over. The details are in the Lets Japan post.

The Lets Japan post has a link to a compilation that lists how ALTs are getting scammed or screwed by dispatch companies. This ALT scam compilation doesn’t mention names but we will Interac Japan is one of the biggest and most notorious companies.

For an example of how Interac Japan treats its employees follow this link.

For an example of what Interac employees are like follow this link. The Interac stooge who says his name is Roger Starkey rogstarkey@yahoo.com hid the fact they worked for Interac while trying to defend Gaijinpot a site which suckers fresh meat foreigners in to working for trashy companies like Interac Japan.

Found a great post that describes a recent example of Japanese cop harassment on Let’s Japan.

The victim was a British 25 year old with Pakistani roots who was blatantly harassed on the suspicion he had drugs. That individual was hauled down to the station but in the end the Jap cops found absolutely nothing.

It took 5 Japanese pigs to surround the guy as he stepped out of a ramen shop. The victim is 6′3, the Japanese cops were probably 5′4.

Without reason suddenly being asked for your passport is very likely in Japan which is exactly what the Jap cops did.

“A female officer then requested that I show my passport. I gave her my gaijin card, and she read out that I was from England.”

Generally after you show your passport that will be the end of it, if you have a legal right to be in the country. The fact Jap cops are allowed to blatantly search and harass anyone they feel like is what’s amazing.

What happens next is where things go beyond a typical run in with Jap cops as a foreigner.

“The older officer tugged my bag and wanted to search it. I did not like being surrounded by police, and asked him if he had a search warrant in Japanese.”
“The officer then went behind me and pulled off my bag, and started to empty it’s contents. They found some incense that I had purchased and rolling papers”

This is where the trouble starts.

The guy gets taken to the koban first then the larger police station in Shibuya.

- He gets strip searched
- He gets accused of taking drugs
-He gets forced to give a urine sample
-He has his incense taken away
-He gets fingerprinted

“At the end there was no apology of any sort, they said I should not buy incense that is not well known! The big shots went back to their PCs and laughed amongst themselves. I really wanted to get a hold of the police offenders that searched me in the first place, they were absolutely racist in the way they treated me, and quite proud of the fact too.”

The last part really rings a bell. Japanese are one of the most racist, xenophobic cultures in the world. The legal behavior of cops is just a reflection of this. It’s a different kind of racism then what happens in the United States. It’s a racism that comes from being a closed off little island nation with a culture of people who have a serious inferiority complex, and a superiority complex at the same time. People who live in Japan will know what I mean. The superiority complex can be boiled down to we Japanese are good everything foreign is bad. The inferiority complex is reflected in how they view many things of European and American origin as better than what Japan can offer. Western men vs Japanese men might be a good example.

The blog post talks about how Amnesty International was contacted but it probably won’t make a difference. Every single Japanese especially the cops need to go to a foreign country and then need experience being targeted by the authorities for having small eyes or any other ridiculous reason or they will never get it.

Cruising the web I found a very detailed in depth experience from a former teacher who used to work at AEON Japan one of the large eikaiwas still in business in Japan.

Seems the former AEON teacher was blogging about their AEON experiences and the bitch company hacks canned them in a vigilante firing by not renewing their contract… allegedly.

The former teachers intentions were noble, “I wanted to give prospective employees a better idea of what it meant to come to Japan and work in the eikaiwa.”.

For better or for worse the former teacher mentioned in their blog that they were an AEON teacher and their work location. (Mistake in my personal opinion)

The EX AEON employee talked about being poorly treated on their blog.

“I had covered some of the staff reactions to my presence in the office – this was mostly coming from my manager, but I had the impression they thought I was an idiot because of my poor Japanese skills: spelling everything out, using a childish tone to talk to me…”

Seems the bitch AEON hacks didn’t like that being exposed one bit.

Threats and intimidation followed.

“after making me feel pretty lousy and telling me all the teachers at the school hated me and didn’t want to talk to me, she asked me if I would like to transfer to a different school”

“She also stipulated that if she informed corporate headquarters about this, they would fire me; essentially, I was being censored. Told to remove all references to AEON or be fired. I walked away and stayed pretty silent for the rest of the day.”

The former teacher decides to transfer out and talks about that on their blog but gets bitch slapped by several AEON stooges.

“Again, censored. Told to remove all reference to the transfer, and prepare for another meeting next week. Later that day, I also received a call from my trainer telling me I was going to be reprimanded and it was a “serious situation”.”

In the end the former teacher’s contract was not renewed

“All this occurred before my renewal evaluation in December. All these opinions were embedded in the management and head teacher before my renewal.

My contract was not renewed, mainly on the basis of co-worker rapport.”

See what happened in this story is not surprising stooges who work for companies that treat their fresh off the boat teachers like disposable trash don’t like it when their dirty laundry is exposed. Check out this link to see what an Interac employee wrote to me when when they didn’t like what I was writing. The stooge forgot to mention they worked for Interac.

Up till now I had not read too many bad experiences about AEON Japan but I guess that’s changed now.
