The image has been degraded from the original RAW file with the addition of textures, borders, diffusion and a little vignetting.

I’m just getting used to using this theme with my blog, so the next few posts will feature some random images from my portfolio to give you a feel for the site.

This image, entitled "Summer" was made on the North Cornish coast, close to Polzeath, while on a walk between Polzeath and The Rumps headland. When I saw this scene I was struck by the fabulous cloudscape which dominates the whole composition. I particularly like the way the mown hay lays in a curve leading you into the scene.

When I look at this image I am taken back to that late summer afternoon and what I felt at the time.
