			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Article marketing is hands down on of the best ways to get targeted, ready-to-buy traffic to your website. Not everyone has success with article marketing, however. In this article, we’re going to look at what separates winning article marketing strategies from ones that don’t work out as well. Below are four tips you can use to take your article marketing right to the bank!</p>
<p><span id="more-400"></span></p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Tip 1</strong></span>: Write your articles like sales letters. Now, you don’t want it to sound like a late-night infomercial, but you do need to understand that your article is more than just information. Your goal is to get the reader to click on your link, either in the article body or in your bio box.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Tip 2</strong></span>: Write a headline that arouses curiosity and makes people want to read your article. In general, readers find your articles via a search engine search. In other words, when they decide if they want to read your article, they can’t see the whole thing. They just see a headline and also a description. You want your headline to be a call to action…something that’s going to interest people.</p>
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Tip 3</span></strong>: Make your articles at least 400 words long. If you want to publish your article on a lot of article directories (and you should), it needs to be at least 400 words long. A lot of directories don’t publish articles that are shorter.  An article that’s less than 400 words just seems a little unsubstantial.</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Tip 4</strong></span>: Make your bio box look like it’s part of the article. At the end of an ezine style article, there’s an author’s bio box. Although you can try to put links back to your website in the body of the article, not all directories allow that. The place to put your link is in the bio box. So, don’t think of the bio box like it’s an afterthought for your reader. Your bio box needs to fulfill the same function that a call to action does on a sales letter.</p>
<p>This is what you don’t want (but what you usually see):</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">&#8220;<em>Joe Johnson is a career animal lover who has spent countless hours learning the ins and outs of the lives of ferrets.&#8221;</em></p>
<p>From the reader’s point of view, this blurb makes it seem as though the author is more interested in themselves rather than the reader. Unless you’re the inventor of the South Beach diet or someone with as much authority in your given niche, who you are and what you’ve done is secondary.</p>
<p>What’s primary is this. If you did a good job with your article, your reader should be thinking…”Hmm&#8230;I liked that…I wonder what else this author has to say about all of this.”</p>
<p>That’s the kind of response that gets the click. That’s what we call “pre-selling”! And, that’s what article marketing is all about—pre-selling your reader so that they click through to your money page.</p>
<p>A better idea for the bio box would be to make it essentially just the last sentence in the article, with a text link embedded in it. For example:</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;">“<em>Check out Raising Ferrets for Fun and Profit to learn more about these wonderful critters.</em>”</p>
<p>The underlined text would be a link to your site.  If your article directory doesn’t allow text links (and there are still some that don’t), then just include the whole website address so that your reader can cut and paste it into their browser window.  And in some cases, it’s good to include both the text link and the full website address in the bio box.</p>
<p>There’s certainly more to know about article marketing than just this. But these four tips will make this type of technique start to work like gang busters. Apply these tips and watch the traffic start rolling in!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Let&#8217;s start this with what going viral means.  In Internet Marketing it can be a video clip, ebook, report, blog post, etc., that gains huge popularity and is spread quickly, like a virus. How it is spread is through social media and one very successful way is through Twitter.</p>
<p><span id="more-389"></span></p>
<p>What that means to you as a marketer is that instead of just hoping and praying for your brand, or report, or article to go viral, you can use various methods to help it along.  In many ways, Twitter is like the perfect storm&#8230;it&#8217;s riding a huge wave of popularity right now. Tweeple know what they like and aren&#8217;t afraid to tell others. It&#8217;s easy for Tweeple to pass on your information, and it doesn&#8217;t cost you a dime &#8211; only a good product and some well-placed tweets with a link to it.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s assume you have a brilliant report you&#8217;ve just written and it&#8217;s free for anyone.  Inside the report you include your affiliate links to other products or at the end you point to your even more brilliant product.  You want this report to go viral and to get in as many hands as possible for obvious reasons.</p>
<p>Try using a <strong>call to action</strong> in your tweet about your report.</p>
<p>This can be as simple as asking people to retweet (RT) your tweet.  Just make sure your tweet is around 130 characters rather than the 140 to leave room for your @name to go at the beginning when someone retweets it.</p>
<p>The call to action can be other requests such as &#8220;Which do you like better&#8230;?&#8221; &#8220;Help me get 20 comments on my blog post&#8230;&#8221;  &#8220;What do you think about&#8230;?&#8221;  &#8220;Pls check this out&#8230;&#8221;  You&#8217;re asking people to take some sort of action, which includes having them click the link you&#8217;ve provided in the tweet.</p>
<p>Consider making your tweet off-the-wall or a little outrageous to get noticed.  &#8220;This won&#8217;t help you get into your skinny jeans, but it could help you grow your customer base&#8230;&#8221; or &#8220;On the way to the bathroom I came up with a fantastic idea for a great destination wedding package&#8230;&#8221;</p>
<p>If you retweet other peoples&#8217; tweets, they&#8217;re likely to return the favor.  You can hope they will, or if you&#8217;ve developed a rapport you could ask them.  People like to be nice and retweeting is an easy way to do that.  Of course, you shouldn&#8217;t be retweeting just to get on a marketer&#8217;s good side, you RT because you like what the original tweeter had to say.</p>
<p>When you&#8217;re putting a tweet out there and asking someone, anyone, to retweet it, keep in mind that people come to Twitter at different times of day.  It&#8217;s okay to do your tweet a few times in a day (and changing the wording each time) to get exposure to different people.  Make sure you are doing 5-10 tweets in between though, so you don&#8217;t come across as a pushy person or a spammer.</p>
<p>Using Twitter is a great way to help your brand, blog post, report, video clip, etc. to go viral.  So be sure to ask for the retweet, make your tweet interesting, and give something of value.</p>

<p>Articles can do two things for you. They can: 1) help you rank another site higher in the search engine results; and 2) they can drive traffic directly to your site.</p>
<p>Either way, you’re going to get more juice from your article marketing if your articles rank well for the keyword terms you’ve optimized them for.</p>
<p><a href="http://internetmarketingdimwit.com/recommends/article-bully"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-395" title="article-bully" src="http://internetmarketingdimwit.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/article-bully-247x300.jpg" alt="article-bully" width="198" height="240" /></a>There are several important issues to consider when optimizing an article for certain keywords terms, but we’re not going to get into that here. Instead, we’re going to talk about something much more fundamental, and which, over the long haul will make your articles make you even more money.</p>
<p>You see a lot of internet marketers forget that the Internet is not all about Google, or Yahoo or MSN. It’s about readers. The whole rationale behind Google’s mysterious algorithm for ranking pages is to get quality content into their users’ hands.</p>
<p>Content is actually more important than search engine optimization. So, let’s talk about what goes into making a quality article.</p>
<p><strong>Preparation and Planning</strong></p>
<p>Some article marketers just sit down at the computer and start writing with no thought as to what keywords they’re targeting or exactly what they want their article to do. That’s okay. It’s even part of a known article marketing strategy, which depends on volume, rather than search results. But unless you want to write, or have written, a thousand or so articles, you need to start thinking in terms of what your target market wants to read about, and, of course, the keywords they’ll use to get there.</p>
<p><strong>Passion</strong></p>
<p>Now, this is not a “do what you love and the money will follow” article. But having said that, passion is one of the keys to writing great content that your readers will want to click on, download to their site, and perhaps even bookmark. Passion shows. Lack of passion shows, too. Have you ever read an article or blog post that seemed like it was there just to take up space or rank for some obscure term in Google? What was at fault? Research? Grammar? No. It was probably written by some article marketing hack that just sits in front of their computer and cranks out articles all day long.</p>
<p>With these three “P’s,” you can dramatically increase your articles’ readership. So, don’t worry about Google. If you’re churning out quality information that your audience loves, search results will follow.</p>

Although I typically prefer written instructions, the videos in this package were easy to understand and follow. <p>After watching the videos, I put the techniques to the test using one existing Twitter account and one new account.  It took me about two hours to get everything setup, including watching the videos.</p>

<p>Basically, you should provide content that is of interest to your readers. Whether it’s a “How to” article, “Tips” article, or “Secrets” article, research your target audience and “fill in the blanks” for them. So, you want your reader to perform some sort of action when they finish reading your article. In other words, you want to “sell” your reader on taking an action &#8211; clicking on your link. You want to nudge them to take the next step.</p>

<p>You can promote all kinds of websites. You can use article marketing to drive traffic to a blog. <p>When evaluating a CPA offer, here are a few things to keep in mind:</p>
<p>1.    One of the most efficient ways to identify profitable CPA campaigns is to contact your affiliate manager.  One phone call, email, or even instant message to your affiliate manager will reveal to you the top converting offers on the network at the time. This will immediately help you create a short list of offers to promote.</p>

<p>2.    Remember that less action equals more money. In other words, the less a visitor or subscriber has to do, the better. For example, if you are being paid for every email address entered in an online form, you will typically make more money than campaigns that require the user to complete a series of questions or steps.</p>
<p>3.    People love FREE. Free gifts, trial offers, subscriptions and so on are often some of the easiest CPA opportunities that can generate quick cash with minimal effort. I’ve found this works particularly well in the health and beauty niche.</p>
<p>4.    When starting out, it’s really best to choose an offer that accepts all traffic sources so that you can try/experiment with multiple promotion methods.</p>
<p>5.    Check out the landing page of the CPA offer.  The best CPA program will have a landing page that will make anyone – including YOU – want to perform the required action.  A good landing page usually delivers a clear message with a call to action above the fold.  I also prefer landing pages that don’t hide their terms, particularly as they relate to trial offers.</p>
<p>Once you have chosen a CPA offer to promote, commit to marketing it and following through with your strategy, even if the results are slow yielding at first. Also, make sure that your CPA offers blend in well with the purpose of your website.</p>

<p>Traffic, as they always say, is the lifeblood of any online venture.  If you’re selling something, you need traffic.  If you want people to click on your ads, you need traffic.  If you want to lead potential customers to an affiliate merchant’s sales page, you need traffic. Heck, if you want people to see the baby pictures you posted on your personal blog, you still need traffic!</p>
<p><span id="more-362"></span></p>
<p>The same is true for CPA campaigns.  This is why CPA advertising is very important.</p>
<p>CPA advertising is all about generating traffic to your web page so that a lot of prospects will get to see your affiliate link and a lot of prospects will get the chance to perform the action required by the advertiser.  Below are 5 traffic generating strategies that can spell the success of your CPA advertising campaigns.</p>
<p>1. <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Article Marketing</strong></span>.  This is one of the most powerful and the most popular CPA advertising techniques. For example, in some markets, you may do well with offering a free newsletter to build an email list.  In other markets, it may be best to a build list by promising early notice of coupons or special offers.  Here are a few other options to consider for increasing your email list.</p>

<p>1.  <strong>Run a contest</strong>.  The puzzle, game or task should be easy and straightforward so that you don’t frustrate the customer and you still get their email address in the end.</p>
<p>2.  <strong>Offer customers a free report, ecourse or eBook</strong>.  People love getting free stuff, especially eBooks that interest them.  Remember, it doesn’t have to be 100 pages long; five to ten pages will work fine.</p>
<p>3.  <strong>Advertise your opt-in offer in an e-zine or classified ad</strong>.  It actually doesn’t cost tons of money and if you find the right place to advertise, you could see dramatic results.</p>
<p>4.  <strong>Include a link to a free report in your sig file</strong>. At the end of each email message you send out, take the opportunity to add your name, company and a free report with a link attached.  You will be surprised at how many visitors you get this way.  If a customer is interested in downloading a report from your web site, they will definitely have no problem providing their name and email address.  They will love to receive more reports from you or have access to a members only area of your site with plenty of resources.</p>
<p>5.  <strong>Conduct a survey</strong>. Surveying customers is a great way to collect email addresses.
