Dell Inc., the third largest manufacturer of PCs based in Round Rock, Texas, would soon buy Quest software Inc., which is network security software based in Aliso Viejo, California, as reported by Bloomberg. Dell’s products would get better with this security software offerings.

Products of the Quest software include such programs, which monitors the flow of data through networks along with back up information and last data recovery. It is led by Chief Executive Vinny Smith after Doug Garn stepped down due to poor health in February.

Quest Software Inc. was previously agreed to be purchased by Insight Venture Partners for $2 billion. In the yesterday’s closing market Quest had a value of $2.12 billion.

Among other efficient bidders of the company are BMC Software Inc, CA Inc, Microsoft Corp and Oracle Corp as analysts are expecting.

Advisor of the Quest will be New-York based Morgan Stanley.

One of the Dell spokesperson said that the company does not comment on speculations or rumors.

Panasonic has introduced Qi wireless technology. This wireless charging facility is available at various cafés, nail salons, karaoke boxes, bars and convenience stores such as Tully’s Coffee, FamilyMart, Jumbo Karaoke, Speed Nail and other big names to offer in 27 different locations across Tokyo, Japan.

With the help of this Qi wireless technology, customers of those Japanese Chains will be able to charge their mobile devices without any cost. Panasonic has used its own moving coil system, which detects the place where the device is placed on the charging pad and the system adjusts the coil accordingly.

Panasonic will introduce this technology across 90 different locations in Tokyo by the end of March 2013.

How to jailbreak iPhone 4S / 4 /3GS, iPad 3 / 2 /1 and iPod Touch 2G / 3G running on iOS 5.1.1 by using Absinthe 2.0;

Steps if you already have tethered iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak on your device:

Step 1- Launch Cydia wait for all respositories to refresh.

Step 2- Tap on Search and write Rocky Racoon and select Rocky Racoon 5.1.1 Untether from the list.

Step 3- Tap the Install button and let the Cydia install the App. Congrats you have untethered jailbreak device running on iOS 5.1.1.

You can confirm the untethered jailbreak by rebooting you device and checking the functionality of the apps.

Steps if you have device with out any jailbreak on iOS 5.1.1;

Step 1- Download latest Absinthe from the link given below and extract to your desktop.

Download Absinthe 2.0  for Win, Mac and Linux

Step 2- After extraction launch the Absinthe 2.0 application. It will extract files on the similar folder where you extracted it. Now launch the extracted file Absinthe.exe.

Step 2.2- Make the complete backup of your device by using iTunes( under the ‘Devices’ menu and click ‘Back Up’) and when the backup complete go to you Settings – General – Reset – Erase all Content and Settings on you device. This will fast the Jailbreak process. (this step is recommended by Developers, but if you want you can skip this step) (do not perform this step if you already tethered JB, recommended by Developer)

Update: recently @MuscleNerd updated status about reseting your device

Please do *not* try to “reset all device and settings” if you’re already tethered JB! In which case you should be installing it via Cydia)

Step 3- The Absinthe 2.0 application will promote you to connect your iPhone with your computer via USB. (please remove any passcodes or VPN settings before connecting)

Step 4- After connecting the device Jailbreak button on Absinthe will enable. Click on the Jailbreak button.

Step 5- Now Absinthe application will perform some steps, wait for it to complete and application will inform you with Jailbreak have done.

You device will shows you Cydia icon on your Springboard. Congratulation you have done unthered iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak on you device.

How to Restore From Backup file:

Once jailbroken return to iTunes and restore your backup from earlier. Right click on your device name under the ‘Devices’ menu in the left panel of iTunes and click ‘Restore from Back Up…’ then select the latest backup you created before. (restoring this backup will return all the content previously on your device ie, apps, photos, etc.)

A series, of employees photos wearing Project Glass’s are shared with public this week with titled “Google Glass Walk”. Photos shows Sergey Brin, Colby Brown, Peter Hurley, and other Google employees wearing prototype glass’s.

Recelty Google also posted pictures and a video sample taken from the Project Glass Device, which clears us that how pictures and video looks like when captured by the device. The video is just 25 seconds long and shot with 720p. But unfortunately it also doesn’t give us a single clue that how actually the technology is working.

How to root Samsung Galaxy S III;

Step 1- First  Download the insecure kernel and ODIN 1.85 from the link given below.

Step 2- Now extract both downloaded files on your desktop. Extraction of Kernal will give you .tar file.

Step 3- Enter your Galaxy S III device into Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down + Power / Lock buttons at once, and pressing Volume Up when prompted.

Step 4- Now run ODIN application and plug your device with computer via USB. After connecting click on PDA in ODIN and select the .tar file that we extracted in Step 2 from Kernal file.

Step 5-  Click on Start button and let the application flash your device.

Step 6- After that you need to “upgrade,” from insecure to full root device. For this you need to boot your device and enable USB Debugging, you can do this by going to Settings > Applications > Development.

Step 7-Your insecure root device allows only adb root commands, and you will not get superuser access to the apps, here you have to install SuperSU.

Step 8- Now download sgs3-root-install.zip file and extract it. This file contains SuperSu v0.89.

Step 9-  Double click the install.bat and make sure adb is running. After reboot your Samsung Galaxy S III will be fully rooted, Congrats.
