Palak aka Gurmeet Kaur is eliminated on 31st of July. She has been the third elimination of the Jungle and the fourth one to exit. She has been one of the controversial contestants of the show. Last week another controversial participant Fiza was eliminated.

Acoording to the sources, Palak and Aman Verma were the two in the bottom. Palak failing to win the Maha Jungle Challenge was eliminated. Palak has been considered to be one of the lazy people in the jungle and has been involved in a lot of arguments.

Love Aaj Kal is set to release from 31st July, 2009. It is one of the most awaited movies this year featuring Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone. It has created much hype and is expected to be bring colors to bollywood this year which is one of the dullest.

Both Saif and Deepika are not having good days with a lot of flops. Race which was a way back was the last success of Saif while for Deepika all excluding Om Shanti Om haven't been appreciated including the much talked Chadhni Chowk to China.

Love Aaj kal is the first movie produced by Saif himself and the third one of the director Imtiaz Ali Khan other two being - Socha Na Tha and Jab We Met. Rishi Kapoor, Shweta Gulati and Rahul Khanna are the other stars in the movie and Neetu Singh will make a comeback after long time.

The super hot item girl, Negar Khan is going to be the new wild card contestant of Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. Actually, she was set to be the participant from the first but due to problems with work permit in Malaysia her entry in the show has to be delayed. The show's promos now feature her in the Jungle.

Negar Khan is famous for the song "Chalti Jawani teri" and for her tops slipping down on the ramps. She has also worked in some more music videos and acted in B-grade films like jaanleva, Double Cross: Ek Dhoka, ‘The Bachelor’ and Hello? Kaun Hai!. She married the actor Sahil Khan who was in movies like "Style" and "Xcuse me"

Iss Jungle se Mujhe Bachao has already completed its two weeks and two out of the ten celebrities are already eliminated. The show was launched with great hopes but it has been below expectations. The celebrieties even decided to leave the show due to the difficult tasks and the type of food they were provided but was later resolved. The new entry is expected to boost the show.

June 22, 2009 witnessed the longest total solar eclipse of the 21st century. The total eclipse was visible in some parts of India, Nepal, Bhutan, China, Japan and so on. Many people in the specified places due to bad weather and clouds. Here is the video of the Solar Eclipse of June 22, 2009 as seen from Varanasi of India:

You can see that the video shows the different stages of total solar eclipse in Varanasi. Firslty, the eclipse started around 5:30 in India and it was hidden by moon slowly. It seemed as a partial moon in 6:10. Finally total eclipse occured at 6:22. Diamond ring was observed 6:26.

Surya Grahan 2009 - Solar eclipse in religous view

As said in the previous post, June 22 is going to be the day when the earth will witness the longest solar eclipse of the century. I will talk from religious view about the Solar Eclipse (Surya Grahan) in this post.

In Hindu Mythology, sun is swallowed by two demons Rahu and Ketu in the solar eclipse. People are not advised to eat, drink or sleep during, before and after sometimes the eclipse occurs. It is advised to take bath in a religious place. It is regarded as a wonderful time to perform any type of worships.

The July 22 Surya Grahan may bring a lot of changes if we look from religious views. here are some: (Source: The Himalayan Times- July 19, 2009)

1) In a span of 30 days 3 eclipses are going to take place - two lunar and one solar. The first recorded triple eclipse was in 3067 BC - the 18-day period of Mahabharata. Triple eclipses took place in series from 1910 to 1945 when wars like World War I, WW II, nuclear bombing took place. In Biblical stories triple eclipse are linked to destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

2) Financial problems in world may worsen which will improve by the end of year and Agricultural sector in Asia may face several issues due to scanty rainfall.

3)As said earlier war may outbreak and political instability may take place.

4) Psychological problem may arise.

5)Women may face stomach problem. Giving birth during this period is not advised.

This may not be true as many scientists and some astrologers too regard the eclipse as a good sign rather than the cause of violence and irregularities. Scientists believe it to be a chance to perform a lot of research and discoveries.

On July 22, 2009 the earth will witness the longest 'total' solar eclipse of 21st century which will be visible from many parts of Asia including northern India, Eastern Nepal, China, Myanmmar and parts of Pacific ocean. The maximum time of the total eclipse will be 6 minutes and 39 seconds in Southern Japan. It will remain the longest till July 13, 2132. But next total solar Eclipse will be visible in 11 July, 2010. In this eclipse, it would be completely dark as in night.

What is a total Solar Eclipse?
Total solar eclipse occurs when the Sun is completely obscured by the Moon. The intensely bright disk of the Sun is replaced by the dark silhouette of the Moon. Total solar eclipse can be observed from a small part of the world. Unlike partial eclipse, whole part of sun will be hidden by Moon in total solar eclipse.

What will be the path of total solar eclipse?
The eclipse will start from India, to Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan China and Ryukyu island of Japan from where it curves toward the south i.e Pacific ocean. See this map of solar total eclipse. It will travel about 15,150 km in earth surface where it remains about 3 hours and 25 minutes.

Where will be the total solar eclipse be seen?
As said earlier, it would be seen in Northern India which includes Surat, Indore, Bhopal, Varanasi and Patna. Eastern Part of Nepal including Dharan, Ithari, Biratnagar and Mechinagar will also witness total solar eclipse. In China it will be seen in Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan, Hefei, Hangzhou and Shanghai. Northern tip of Myanmar will also witness the total eclipse. Some part of Bhutan and many places in the Pacific will witness total eclipse.
However, partial eclipse can be seen from all parts of India, Nepal, China and most Asian countries and those in Oceania.

What is the best place for Eclipse to be seen?
Taregana in Bihar of India which is 25 km from Patna will be the best place to watch the solar eclipse. The surya grahan would be most clear from that place.

Ishq Bector eliminated from Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao

According to some of the sources, Ishq Vector is going to be the first contestant to be out from Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. Sources claim that Ishq was in the bottom two with another contestant Anaida where he was given a task in "Maha Jungle Challenge". Being unable to do it, the hip-hop singer got out from the Jungle. It is said that the task was related to aquarium.

Its the votes of audience which decides who are going to be in bottom two. It seems people didn't like his attitude though he got 10 stars in the Jungle task. Ishq may be a surprise for most of the audiences as Palak was regarded as the most likable to be out. With lots of drama and hypes, the first week of the Jungle series finishes today with an elimination.

Lots of controversies have been coming in front regarding the upcoming Monday's episode of Sach Ka Samna in Star Plus. This time it will be former cricketer Vinod Kambli who will be revealing the truth in front of camera.

It has been a rumor that Kambli will be saying a lots of things about his former childhood friend and Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. Vinod admitted that his childhood friend didn't help this man during his bad days which was out of his expectation. Kambli also revealed what problem he had to ace due to his colour and caste in the show. It has been said that Kambli also cried in the show.

But later after the show talking to the people Kambli denied the news and slammed it as he didn't have any negative comments on his friend and BCCI. Talking to the matter the show hos Rajeev Khandelwal also slammed the news and did said much about it and requested viewers to wait till it comes on air.

Sach ka Saamna, hosted by Rajeev Khandelwal shown on Star Plus. It an Indian version of internationally popular show "Moment of Truth". Rajeev Khandelwal has made a comeback in television world by hosting this show. The program is ok and Rajeev has done of very good job of being the host. Star Plus which has lost the no.1 spot recently can come back to original position with these types of shows.

The format of the show:
Before the show, the contestant is asked 51 yes/no questions hooked in a polygraph(lie-detector) among which 21 questions are asked in the main show in 6 groups. There is no polygraph in the actual show but the answer is already recorded based on which the yes/no answer is detected. The questions may be personal, emotional and family questions which may be very difficult to answer in front of the family members. If the answers are wrong or the contestant wishes not to play, the game ends. The total prize is Rs. 1 crore. Any wrong answer means no money. As the questions come on, they become more and more personal. The answers may break many hearts.

The show will feature a lot of people crying in the sets with heat-breaking answers. On other hand, many people opt to admit their secrets in front of the loved ones through this program. सच का सामना - Sach Ka Saamna, TV reality show is now ready to be telecasted in the television from 15th of July on STAR PLUS. The adaptation show of internationally hit 'Moment Of Truth' ia the first such type of programme in India. 'Moment of Truth' was shown in Fox Channel USA and had success in different countries.

Siddhartha Basu will be producing the TV reality show whereas the TV star Rajeev Khandelwal will be hosting the show. Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao is a television reality show starting from 13 July, 2009 on channel Sony TV. The concept is similar to the British show I'm a celebrity... Get me out of here!. In this show, 10 celebrities have to spend 2 months in the rain forests of Malaysia.

The format of the show:

All the celebrities are taken to a jungle in Malaysia where they need to spend 2 months (if not eliminated.) They have to live together in jungle with different types of bed, common toilet, bathroom in open air, cook food themselves and so on. They are provided one handful of rice and soybeans as food for three days. But along with this, they will get good food everyday if the tasks are completed.

The show will be shown in TV from Monday to Friday. In between Monday to Thursday, celebrities are shown doing various tasks in the jungle. Each day the group chooses one to perform the task and they are provided food on the basis of the task performed by that one. There is an elimination based on the votes by the audience on Friday.

Bajaj has launched the New Pulsar 220 on June 23, 2009. India's second largest two-wheeler company had launced Pulsar 220 in 2007 which has been modified to this new Pulsar 220 with new sporty looks. This is a move to up the company's market which has been declining since 2007. Pulsar 220's top rivals are going to be Yamaha's FZ and Hero Honda's Karizma.
