Twitter, undoubtedly (real word-I checked), has become the most talked about social network on the planet.

Twitter’s growing by the second and nearly doubles in size every week …but does it have the guts to beat email?

Email has been the most popular way of syndicating content for the past 15 years…

Many have tried to conquer it, but even RSS feeds didn’t make it obsolete-Email has proved to be the best way of electronic communication and plans on sticking to that title for many years to come…

But ever since Twitter has stepped onto the scene, many internet marketers have realized how powerful it really is and started using it with, and sometimes instead, email.

IM community got hooked on Social Media and many experts now claim that Email marketing is dead…

…but is it?

I’ve done some research to compare Twitter vs Email to find out which one to use more of, which one is the most effective and maybe even how you can combine both to bring your online business to the next level.

Twitter VS Email

So, how do we go about comparing Twitter vs Email?

I came up with several criteria, which I believe to be the most relevant to internet marketing and stacked them up against each other:

As you can see from the comparison above-on paper Email beats Twitter, however, there are some things I don’t mention in the comparison chart:

1. Twitter has 100% deliverability while email can be blocked by spam filters, if you don’t pay attention to the way you craft your subject lines.
2. While email doesn’t limit the number of characters you can use, Twitter limits you to 140 characters to get your message across. 140 characters doesn’t seem like much space to work with, but if you learn to use Twitter effectively-often it is enough to spark interest and to get people to visit your website.
3. Twitter response rates seem to be much smaller then Email’s, but you have to consider one important fact here: If you have more than 1000 followers on Twitter and you get ~1% response rate-then you  get approx. 100 people to visit your site immediately. Email, on the other hand, even if opened, doesn’t guarantee that your links will get clicked on…
4. Your tweets are being syndicated in real time, while your emails can be held up in your client’s queue prior to going out-something you can’t control…
5. Your tweets will never get blocked by Spam filters, unlike emails that often do-which costs you money and ruins communication with your clients.

Bottom Line

Twitter is real-time, has 100% deliverability and never gets blocked by spam filters …However this doesn’t mean that Email should become obsolete.

Email is still a much greater way to communicate with your clients on a personal level, getting your messages across and getting them subscribed to your newsletter.

So, my recommendation to you is this:

Use your Twitter to get people sign up for your newsletter or blog and use email to form a personal, warm and intimate relationship with your clients which is much more important then getting your links clicked on!

Once you have found a hot niche, it is time to find a quality domain name. Be sure to make the domain name keyword rich and easy to remember.

Then find a good hosting company and get your website up and running.

Step 3: Create A WordPress Blog

Visit WordPress.org and download their powerful free blog software.

This software makes it easy to manage your site’s content, and when configured correctly, gets a lot of search engine love. If you have any problems installing the software, don’t hesitate to use their extremely helpful forums.

Step 4: Create Your Content

Now you will want to add content to your blog. Remember to keep it based around your chosen niche, and unique.

With a little research, it won’t take much time to create 5-10 high quality articles for your blog.

Overcoming Objections

There are 2 ways of overcoming sales objections:

1. Addressing the objections straight forward, head on
2. Be more subtle about …sneaky even

Addressing Sales Objections Head On

If you want to overcome objections by blatantly addressing them, use the following statement:

“As attractive as this product/service/offer is, our marketing experts tell us that only about X% of the people receiving it will respond.

Although that’s okay with us from a business standpoint, it still bothers me personally.

You see, I know how much the owners/users of our product/service/offer benefit from it. I read their letters; I talk to them on the phone; I see them personally when they visit us; and hundreds/thousands/millions each year tell me that “(strong, brief customer quote).”

Because of this, I just hate the thought of someone not getting our product/service/offer because of some error or omission in our explanation. That’s why I held a special brainstorming session with a group of our people just to try to figure out why you might say “no” to our free trial offer.

After several hours, our group could think of only three possible reasons.

[list the reasons and explain why they are misleading]“

I have used this form on numerous sales letter I wrote for myself and for my business partners and it proved to be very effective.

The Sneaky Way Of Overcoming Sales Objections

Although I call it “The Sneaky Way Of Overcoming Sales Objections”-it isn’t.

There’s nothing sneaky about telling stories. After all, that’s how we communicate throughout our lives-by telling each other stories.

Telling stories and fables is in our DNA, it’s an unconscious communication pattern-and that what makes this method so “sneaky”.

I guess by now you’ve figured out what is going to happen next? Yes, I am going to tell you a story, the purpose of which is to overcome the 4 most common objections in sales:

“This internet business thing has always seemed like a non-realistic thing to me.

But when life left me no chance but to find an additional income stream to support my wife and 2 kids, I decided to give it a shot (although I knew that my friends are going to make fun of me when they’ll find out).

And to my surprise, it took me only 2 days to set everything up even though I didn’t know jack about technology…

Before I knew it, I started making money and I quadrupled the money I invested into this by the end of the third week!

Now, the only problem, I guess, are my annoying friends, who are chasing me down-begging to borrow them money (because now I have much more then they do)…”

Here’s How This Story Overcomes All 4 Of The Common Sales Objections:

“This internet business thing has always seemed like a non-realistic thing to me.”

By acknowledging the fact that you didn’t think this whole internet business is realistic you show your prospects that you are just like them and therefore-you can be trusted. You’re also addressing the objection of not wanting to learn something new and complicated.

“But when life left me no chance but to find an additional income stream to support my wife and 2 kids, I decided to give it a shot (although I knew that my friends are going to make fun of me when they’ll find out).”

In this short paragraph you identify with your target market (a family man with wife and 2 kids in this case) to establish more trust and also address the objection of being seen as a fool by your friends.

“And to my surprise, it took me only 2 days to set everything up even though I didn’t know jack about technology…”

In this short sentence you overcome the objection of learning something new and complicated. You show to your prospects that it is much easier then they think, even they lack knowledge in technology.

“Before I knew it, I started making money and I quadrupled the money I invested into this by the end of the third week!”

In this sentence you address the objection of financial risk by showing the fast multiplied return on investment.

“Now, the only problem, I guess, are my annoying friends, who are chasing me down-begging to borrow them money (because now I have much more then they do)…”

In the last paragraph you overcome the objection of being seen as a fool by others by showing that by following through you end up having a higher social status in your community.

Know Your Target Market

The reason why I was able to easily identify and eliminate the objections of my target market is because I know them, and that’s what you should do too-get to know your target market, find the most common objections and craft a wicked story to demonize the hell out of them.

P.S: Don’t let me wrong-I don’t want you to lie. Don’t make up things that didn’t really happen to you.ONLY TELL THE TRUTH (otherwise-it will byte you in the ass!)!

Tiffany Dow started her career ghostwriting for some of the top marketers on the ‘net. I met Tiffany at the warrior forum and thanks to her immense reputation as the “PLR Marketing Queen” I decided to interview her to get access to some juicy insider’s PLR marketing secrets. Luckily for you, she didn’t have any problems sharing them. Here’s the full interview:

Tiffany, can you tell us a little bit about yourself and what you do?

I morphed into an internet marketer after spending six years ghostwriting for many of the top IM gurus online who initially hired me via Elance. After learning the profit potential to create content for myself instead of clients, I began teaching others what I’d learned from the people I worked for about info product creation and instead of ghostwriting for high rates, I launched a private label rights site so that all marketers (including those just getting started) could afford high quality content.

How and when did you get started with PLR marketing?

I think someone suggested it to me so I decided to test the waters. I felt the most important element to the site’s success would be in building a list of marketers who wanted alerts on when the content was ready. I also allow them to submit requests for topics, so the site is purely driven by their needs and not what I feel should be put out there.

What advice would you give to someone who’s brand new to PLR and Internet marketing in general?

First, put away your wallet so that you’re not impulse buying all of the time. Make sure you feel comfortable and confident in the marketer before you thoughtfully spend money on whatever it is they have to offer. When it comes to Internet marketing, don’t go off in too many directions at once. Pick something and follow all the way through with it before moving on. With PLR, alter the content by slightly changing the title and adding an introduction and conclusion or altering what’s given to you.

Compared to affiliate marketing how PLR marketing is different?

They’re two different things. Affiliate marketing is when you’re promoting someone else’s products for a commission – and you can use PLR to do that (or to promote your own products). PLR is just content – so using PLR content in your affiliate marketing efforts is a great way to keep costs down and your ROI up.

What skills does one need to successfully apply the strategies you’re going to share with us today?

You need to prevent impulse buys and be willing to focus on your tasks to completion. There are no special skills that you need – just common sense and business savvy.

How do you find free or inexpensive PLR products to market?

I don’t recommend free PLR because the quality is never up to par. Inexpensive PLR is easy to find, but that word can mean different things to different people. I price all of my PLR at $1 per page because my whole goal was to give newbies who can’t afford a lot of outsourcing the same access to the content top gurus buy for $30 per page. While they get top quality at bargain prices, I get a better return than if I ghostwrote because I sell more volume. It’s a win-win for everyone.

What is the step-by-step system you follow in PLR marketing from start to finish?

I have used my own PLR and I also buy the PLR from Jimmy Brown (because it’s his own products which I know are good quality). So first I find something fitting for my target audience. Then I alter the title, and rewrite it in my own style (if it’s someone else’s writing). I’ll pair the PLR with some sort of offer for sale and create hyperlinks within the PLR for conversions. Then I make it go viral by giving it away with an opt in form or allowing other marketers to give it away as long as my links are left intact.

What are some of the pitfalls our listeners should look out for when applying the strategies you just shared?

The most common problem I see is that marketers are so busy frantically trying to make a quick buck that they don’t stop to consider their customer. Ask yourself if what you’re giving away will benefit the person – and if not, can you alter it so that it will? What about offers for sale – if you buy the PLR, what will you sell with it? Don’t just grab up a bunch of PLR and let it rot on your hard drive – have a purpose and plan before you shell out money for it.

Is there a proven-to-work method of marketing PLR products?

There are many – you can use PLR to build a list via an autoresponder. For instance I sell Mega packs which include a 5 page report the buyer can offer up as the freebie to entice sign-ups. Then the Mega pack includes 52 articles, which can provide a full year’s worth of weekly email communication with your subscribers. You can also use PLR to fill up a blog and feed search engine index spiders. It can even be used to reply to people’s questions in forums if done properly. All of these allow you to position yourself as an expert in your niche.

Which markets or niches does PLR marketing suit best? Where can it be best applied?

PLR can suit ANY niche. Some PLR sites only offer one niche – like dieting. But the PLR Mini Mart takes requests, so I have content that ranges from dog training to infertility to Internet marketing. One extra tip I have is that when you need to buy information on how to do something, see if there’s some good PLR on it first. Why pay $67 for a course when you might be able to find a $10 set of PLR teaching you the same tactics?

Can you provide us with couple of examples/case studies on PLR marketing?

Here’s a great one that a customer emailed me about the other day. Someone had requested some PLR on chicken coops. It seemed like a VERY odd topic, and I didn’t think it would sell many, but I did it anyway. Turns out it’s a hot little niche. This woman bought the PLR and in 3 days had sold chicken coops from Amazon (they’re about $500 each) and several eBooks on the topic. The investment in PLR was a measly $10 for 10 articles!

What are some of the best resources to study in PLR marketing?

Unfortunately, I haven’t seen many good resources that teach it – but I’m working on a free course to give my subscribers.

This weekend I was driving back home with my wife Anastasia from Tel-Aviv and I noticed a great deal of similarity between the Israeli highway and Internet Marketing.

Did you too notice that most of the internet marketing e-books, videos, courses and seminars always claim to deliver fast and explosive business success? I did, and I have to say that my experience in this industry leads me to believe otherwise.

Assuming that you know where you’re going, which is a mandatory condition for this metaphor to be valid for you, there’s a certain amount of miles you need to travel before you get to your destination.

However, the distinct difference between internet marketing and the highway is the fact that we never know how long is the distance that we need to cover before we get there.

For most of us, there aren’t any road signs to direct us along the way and buying a map is just something we can’t afford at the moment. But as if that wasn’t enough, there are plenty of cops to make our lives a living hell.

Of course, we can make our journey easier and more fun, if we get a steersman that will keep us company and signal if something goes wrong. But we rarely do that-we rarely ask for help.

Maybe it’s because we’re too proud, we want to prove to ourselves and everyone else that we are qualified and competent to do this on our own.

Personally, I think we’re just too damn stubborn to admit that we need help. I believe that our egos get in the way and prevent us from taking shortcuts-we just follow what everyone else is doing-we keep straight forward, we stick between the white and yellow lines.

I believe that the reason why such a mind boggling amount of people stop by the side of the road and make a u-turn only to someday totally crash their dreams into a lamp post or a tree, is because the unknown journey ahead takes its toll on us. We can’t figure out what awaits us down the road and so we bail on our dreams.

What can we do? Install a freaking GPS?

Let’s not be uptight about asking for help-someone will respond sooner or later. Let us not let the circumstances pull us down. Money isn’t the only thing we can give to others.

We all have something to share. We all have something others consider to be a treasure. Open your mind to the universal truth that there are no limits to what you can and cannot do (even if you are a complete newbie).

Google Slap is a term which was coined by Adwords Advertisers when Google dropped the Quality Score of their ads overnight and deactivated their keywords until they pay the increased Cost-Per-Click or make the necessary changes to improve their landing pages’ Quality Score. It takes somewhere from 2 months to indefinite time to get “Google Un-slapped”.

In this post I will reveal 7 advanced tips on how to set up your Adwords Campaigns and Landing Pages to get a High Quality Score and prevent your ads from being Google Slapped ever again (or at least until the next time Google changes the rules).

1. Increase Your Click Through Rates (CTR Rates)

If your CTR rate is less than 1% then there’s a high chance you’ll get slapped. Make sure that the keywords you are bidding on are highly relevant to your Ad Copy. If your ads are not getting clicked on then Google gets a signal that your ad is Low Quality.

Content Network ads always receive a low CTR. You should keep that in mind and even turn them off to get more click troughs.

2. Keep Your Landing Pages Relevant

Make Your Landing Page relevant to your Ad copy.  Use the same keywords in the title and content of your Landing Page as the ones you used in your Ad.

3. Keep Your Content Original

Create Unique and Original content for your landing pages.

It is very easy for Google to detect duplicate content on your landing page and slap you with a low quality score. If you are promoting a product as an affiliate, then instead of copying the entire company website, create something original.

Google Adwords never shows multiple ads that redirect to the same page at the same time. The same goes for pages with duplicate content.

4. Improve Your Loading Time

Google compares the loading time of your page with the average loading time of the website in your geographical location. E.g. If your website is hosted in US then its loading time will be compared to the average loading time of a Web Page in USA.

If your Landing Page is graded ”This page Loads Slowly” then it will put a negative effect on your Quality Score. You can reduce the Size of your Landing Page by using image compressors and avoiding pop-ups, flash and other unobtrusive elements.

5. Provide Useful Information

If you landing page contains only ads and/or all kinds of Get Rich Quick Schemes then it has a high chance of getting slapped. Even if you are using Google Adwords for commercial purposes, still, you need to provide useful information to your visitors for free.

You need to make your landing pages more useful by creating a balance between its informational and commercial aspects.

6. Standalone Websites

Standalone sites which contain only a landing page and are created to sell products or send traffic with your affiliate links are more highly to get slapped then websites with additional indexed content.

Your site should be a proper website with at least 15-20 pages of useful information on it. You should also link to other relevant information on your website from your landing pages.

7. Building Your Site’s Credibility

Your landing page should be able to create a trust factor among your users. Your business policies should be easily found on your site. If you need personal information from your visitor then it should contain a privacy policy which states that it won’t be used for any illegal purposes.

Go ahead and implement these 7 tips in your Google Adwords campaigns and report back on the results you get.

Being a huge Law of Attraction fan, I am fascinated with how easily this magnificent concept can and should be used in internet marketing to attract customers, boost sales and make more money (regardless of how much money you’re making right now).

In this post you’re going to discover a few simple methods you can implement in your internet marketing business today to boost profits, attract business partners and even shamelessly attract web traffic.

To understand how you can do all of the things mentioned above it is important to understand that Law of Attraction is a Scientifically Proven Universal Law. You don’t want to argue with the scientists, do you? I know I wouldn’t, because I’d probably get tons of scientific data thrown into my face proving me wrong. Jokes aside though, Law of Attraction operates on the basis of quantum physics. In other words: you attract matter by thought and it’s not fiction-it’s the way things work around here, on planet Earth…

This “matter” can be anything in the whole world: a butterfly, a customer, marketing education or a person in New Zealand who accidentally found your website on someone else’s Facebook wall. The possibilities are endless.

By now you might be thinking: “yeah, yeah… I already heard all of this B.S in “The Secret”, but trust me, you didn’t. Because “The Secret” only vaguely introduced people to the Law of Attraction but never showed actionable steps you can take to apply it in your life (and business).

Here are a couple of things you can do today to attract customers, sales and money into your business using the Law of Attraction.

1. Define Your Negative Beliefs

Most of the time the problem isn’t that we don’t focus on what we want  hard enough, but that we give too much attention to the things we don’t want instead. Make a conscious effort to identify your negative beliefs regarding money, success, business and financial freedom to get rid of the thoughts that are pulling you down on daily basis.

2. Get Clear About What You Want and Visualize It

Do you know exactly what kind of a business you want to run? If not, maybe it’s about time you dug inside your soul and found out how exactly you want your business to look like.

When you finally have that clear image in your mind, visualize yourself being there, feel the feelings, smell the smells and watch your business flourish to success.

3. Stop Giving The Naysayers So Much Attention

No matter who you are and where you’re coming from-there always will be those nasty people that will say that it won’t work for you, that you’re stupid for trying and that it’s time to let go of your dreams and wake up.

Don’t listen to them. Stop arguing with them. Don’t try to prove you’re right-you can’t. These people are shallow. They didn’t have the courage to make their dreams come true so they are trying to pull you down and make you do the same so they can feel good about it.

Instead focus on your business and what you can do to improve it.

Take Action

For Law of Attraction to work in your business you must take action towards your desires. Get a clear picture of what is that you want and keep visualizing yourself being a part of it. Your positive thoughts will attract positive feelings which will trigger the Law of Attraction and make it work in your business.

Today there are millions of blogs on every topic imaginable and the numbers keep climbing up every hour. However, in the midst of blogosphere’s rapid growth, a major issue was born: Blog Traffic Generation.

Blog Traffic Misconception

Some bloggers say that there are so many blogs out there today that it seems there isn’t enough traffic for everyone …I beg to differ. Why? Because, if a reader subscribes to one blog, it doesn’t mean he won’t do the same for another.

As long as the reader gets something out of reading your web journal-he’ll keep coming back. That’s the only thing you need to keep in mind when you’re feeling jealous of sites like Copyblogger, Zen Habits and John Chow.

3 Blog Traffic Generation Scenarios That Never Fail

1. Guest Posts

Doing guest posts on other people’s blogs (that are bigger or equal to your blog in size) is the best blog traffic generation method out there. This method alone has generated 10-15% of my blog’s all time traffic.

In addition, people who come to your blog from another website are more likely to subscribe, because they are likely to trust you to a much greater extent. It all goes back to building trust, authority and social proof: people are more likely to trust you if someone else have told them that you’re cool.

2. Link Bait

Coming up with link bait content is another great way to generate tons of blog traffic. This strategy is extremely beneficial to you because it not only generates huge instantaneous traffic but also motivates people to link to your blog and thus improving your SEO and Link Building campaign.

3. Reciprocal Blog Relationships

To tell you the truth, I just made that term up to make this strategy sound cool, but it doesn’t change the fact that it works like a charm…

Do some research and find other bloggers in your niche you can connect with. Set up some reciprocal links and constantly do guest posts for one another. You should also link to each other’s “hot” posts and thus creating a win-win reciprocal blog relationship.

You can easily find people who blog about the same stuff as you do by doing any of the things mentioned below:

• Run a search in Google
• Set up daily Google alerts for keywords related to your niche
• Search the DMOZ directory for websites that have been submitted in your category
• Run a Twitter search and connect with people who are tweeting about the things related to your niche
• Run a Facebook Groups/Fan Pages search and connect with people in that community
• Run a YouTube search for videos in your category and connect with the authors of those videos

Don’t Forget The 80-20 Rule

Always keep in mind the famous 80-20 rule: 80% of your traffic is going to come from 20% of your efforts, which means that none of these strategies will be effective to the same extent-some will work better then others.

Test these scenarios out and see which ones bring you the most blog traffic. Cut the least effective and focus on what works-that way you won’t waste effort on stuff that doesn’t really pay off and generate more traffic in less time.
