I have a 144hz monitor, and a 65in 4k TV downstairs, both hooked up to my GTX1060, or RTX2080 (issue occurs with both). I use one display at a time.

When I have the TV turned off, and I'm using my monitor, sometimes my monitor randomly goes black like it's lost its signal. Very annoying when playing games.

I've found that if I unplug the HDMI to my TV, I get signal back to my monitor. Furthermore, this won't happen if I leave my TV unplugged.

It's a Vizio P65 and I've already tried updating Nvidia drivers.

Anyone have a fix or know if this is a known issue?

So the long story short is I am going to finally do a watercooling build. I am going to wait until I get a new GPU to do this which will most likely be a 3080. So my question is about my case. I'm fairly certain without modding I'm getting a 120 and 240 rad in max. And that would still make fitting pump and res a bit tricky. I tried googling builds in my case and didn't have a lot of luck.

So the question, Should I just look at a new case like the H700 or others. I'm a fan of the NZXT so just getting the bigger one seems like a logical step.

Edit: Currently I have the H500 from NZXT

So, I overclocked my Coffee Lake i5-9600k to 5ghz at 1.375v and it was working perfectly, I upped the voltage until I had no issues from 1.3v.

Today, (2 days later) I kept getting BSOD, after a restart I'd be able to get to my desktop and then it would error again. I was able to safely get into safe mode. During my restart, it gave me the option to repair windows, I went to repair and then it errored again leaving me with an impartially repaired OS that wouldn't load. I removed GPU, tried each memory stick on it's own, removed SSD, and flashed MOBO and updated the BIOS. But still, can't do anything as I constantly get BSOD.

I have no spare parts, I'm not sure what to do from here. What is the most likely thing to go in a situation like this?

I am going to start getting parts for my new PC and the part I'm having problems choosing is the board. There are conflicting sheets available...

I am going to start getting parts for my new PC and the part I'm having problems choosing is the board. There are conflicting sheets available listing the VRM setup of motherboards so I'm confused as to which one to get.

I will most likely not overclock as it's pointless, though it's always fun to experiment. I don't play that many games anymore so my goal is content creation (video and photo post processing). Considering the way AMD have released chips the past few years I assume the 4600 will be equal to a 3700 and a 4700 close to a 3900 so I am looking at either of those chips, though I assume I'll most likely get the 4600.

Looking at the following two sheets I am confused as to the VRM capacity and doubling on motherboards:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...Qx8/edit#gid=0
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...OQw/edit#gid=0

I had my eyes on the Mortar as it seems good enough for my use but I would like some advice. To be clear I prefer to spend more on the GPU than the board and I will use a 200GE until the release of Zen 3, when I'll decide what to get.

I will get a Leadex HG650 PSU, I already have drives and I will use my 1TB nVME as boot of course, however I would like to have a second M2 slot as I'd like to expand storage space in the future. I won't get a GPU yet either as nVidia have just announced their 3xxx's and AMD will announce theirs soon enough.

So, what do you guys recommend? Should I get the Mortar or are there better boards? I would prefer to spend below 200 USD as above that is X570 territory.

So I have a new build, in a tiny case, airflow is pretty good and my R7 1700 that was in this exact same setup under the exact same conditions never hit more than 75° with the same tests in this configuration.

I'm using HWInfo64 and CPUZ to get all my voltages and temps and speeds.

I have been tuning my memory and the score seems kind of low which lead me to these findings.

Memory is currently at 3800mhz 16 17 17 17 36 @ 1.400v (IF at 1900, still in the process of tuning)

My Adia64 (trial) shows it getting faster with lower latency as I tune. My Cinibench score has also steadily improved with the tuning.

With the tuning I have done so far my Cinibench score on the first run is 3640. Every run after it will drop about a hundred points. I noticed the CPU will slowly creep up to 95° half way through the first run. From there I can see the cpu throttle down around 3.8ghz.

The CPU voltage looks to be hovering around 1.42v give or take during the run which seems extremely high, and I think it might be my issue. But I'm looking for some confirmation before I apply new paste, or get a new cooler.

My signature has my current list of components. Everything is stock other than the ram settings.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I only have a few games that consume more than 8 GiB of VRAM and this is only on ultra settings:

1. I've noticed that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard regularly consumes nearly all the VRAM on my 1080Ti (after all who wants to skimp on texture quality for the lovely meals the Baker family consumes and stores in their refrigerators?).

2. Dishonored 2 in a 4K DSR resolution uses nearly 9 GiB of VRAM (8830 MiB).

3. I've also seen Deus Ex: Mankind Divided use 8197 MiB of VRAM at 2K with 2xMSAA turned on and all graphics settings maxed.

Nvidia recommends > 10GiB of VRAM for Shadow of the Tomb Raider for 4K @ ultra settings:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce...ormance-guide/

Considering these are last-gen titles though, shouldn't greater than 8 GiB of VRAM be considered a minimum now?

Hey guys,

I noticed that there is a lot of confusion about watercooling the new Nvidia RTX 3000 Series (RTX 3080 & 3090).

Some watercooling manufacturers like EKWB have already announced their waterblocks, but they haven't given us any information about which graphics cards will actually be compatible with those waterblocks.

I did some research and in a news article from videocardz.com I found out that there are 2 different PCBs that Nvidia provides. One is the Founders Edition PCB, which is called PG133 and the other one is the reference PCB, which is called PG132.

Also found an article about Palit registering their RTX 3000 cards with the EEC and a whole lot of them had a 132 in their SKU. I assume that the 132 SKUs use the reference layout, so I went on techpowerup.com and checked their GPU database for a Palit card with the 132 SKU and I found this here:

Palit RTX 3080 GamingPro NED3090019SB-132BA

Now I just compared other graphics cards and their pictures from the techpowerup database and I think the cards I will list below all use the reference PCB PG132 from Nvidia and should be compabtile with the recently announced EKWB waterblocks.

Gainward RTX 3080 Phoenix GS (471056224-2010)

ZOTAC RTX 3080 Trinity (ZT-A30800D-10P)

PNY XLR8 RTX 3080 Triple Fan Edition (VCG308010TFXPPB)

GALAX RTX 3080 Metal Master (GeForce RTX 3080 ????)

Not sure about those graphics cards, but the PCB looks similar, just a piece between the slot and the PCIe connector looks different. (could be a manufacturing thing)

GIGABYTE RTX 3080 EAGLE OC (GV-N3080EAGLE OC-10GD)

EVGA RTX 3080 XC3

EVGA RTX 3080 HYDRO COPPER

What do you think?

Please read all of our terms of delivery and payment before placing your order.
Our two Mining branch warehouses are located in the Netherlands and Hong Kong depending on the models ordered, your order will be shipped from one of these two logistics centres.
For processing and delivery times, they are currently 1 working days after confirmation of payment (This time depends on our workload, those of our logistics subcontractors, your payment method and the country of receipt). Certain countries and regions, notably South Africa, Iran, India, Continental Africa, South America and the United Arab Emirates, have slightly longer delivery times.
Noted that payments made in crypto-currencies are directly exchanged in dollars with us, therefore if a refund must be made it will be made on the amount in dollars and not in crypto-currency
Here are the details of our processes and processing times according to the payment method:
For payments by cryptocurrency (Coinbase Commerce), it usually takes one working day to validate the payment..
In order to increase the in transit security of the high-value miner, we are implementing insurance fees with the shipping fees, starting from Jule, 2020. We will use the company name (if not available, then the name of the buyer) as the insured party. Please make sure that the information is correct.

Ok so I picked up this board for my new build. ASUS Prime B550M-A WiFi Its has two slots for nvme and I am up in the air about what to do. I have out of my 4 year old laptop, a 512GB Samsung XP941 M.2 PCIe, but I don't know if its worth using? I was sort of thinking about buying a 1TB newer M.2 drive, but budget on that is no higher than $140 and would really like to be around $115-$120, but as always if a few bucks gives me massive change in performance. If that XP941 is awful I might also pick up a faster 500GB M.2 drive but budget will be low or I might have to wait a few months.

I am open to thoughts if you think I should do something totally different.
