It's really great what they put in them and I have been known to drag myself across the city to an event I was only sort of interested in to get the goody bag. Sue me. Like I'm the only one who ever does that! </p> <p>I was double booked and <a href="/user/megken/">Megken</a> went off to his film party without me. He got a great goody bag and he knows by now how to divide the bag up. He keeps the baseball hats, t-shirts and candy. I get any coupons, mini bottles of booze and beauty products. It's like clockwork. We have our system down pat.</p> <p>He handed me my latest stash and said, <em>"oh, I know this falls under your category. It's a lipstick. It came with my category though-it came with really good breath mints. That's kind of like candy."</em> He had a point. I was intrigued though. A lipstick that came with breath mints? A number of weeks ago I wrote about a quest to find a foundation that would work on my dry, aging skin. My skin has several problems besides age and drying, there is the uneven skin tone, loss of elasticity and the damage from cellulitis on my chin.</p> <p>I suffered from chemical poisoning while a child which has caused me considerable problems as an adult. I do not absorb nutrients easily and my test results proved Shaklee brand vitamin and minerals absorb best for me. I am feeling a bit beat-up from travel, the change of seasons,the flippin' daylight savings time change thing, (whose idea <em>IS</em> this???) and the fact that it's been one hell of a year so far in many ways. When I was younger I used the white kinds with the aluminum in them, I am not sure what that is, I mean I know what aluminum is but not the version or form of it that is put in deodorant to stop you from sweating.</p> <p>I always pictured someone grinding up aluminum cans into a powder and mixing it into my under arm stick. I heard many bad things about aluminum, like it causes Alzheimer disease. Eventually, I had to stop using it when I got little red itchy bumps. I developed some sort of allergy. That's strange because the only thing I know I am allergic to is penicillin.</p> <p>I started using a deodorant called <a href="http://www.desertessence.com/bath-body/deodorants/tea-tree-oil-stick-deodorant-lavender-oil">Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Deodorant with lavender oil</a>. I like the smell of the lavender and I don't think it's girlie. I have been waiting anxiously for the past two months to post about this body wash and moisturizer, and am so very, very excited that the time has finally come! I'm betting that the other nine reviewers probably feel the same way, and I'm thrilled to be able to recommend this company since all of their products seem just lovely. I'm sincerely hoping that you Meg Heads get some traffic to this site, and for those who are <em>"makeup obsessed"</em> spend their weekly allotment at 100% Pure!</p> <p>When I received the package of <a href="http://www.100percentpure.com/kids_2in1.html">Yummy Ice Cream, 2 in 1 wash,</a> I was shocked to see that it was in a 19oz pump. Equally exciting was the 8oz tube of vanilla moisturizer that was sent along with it. Talk about bang for your buck! I go through at least two shampoos and washes a month, but let me assure you that we have used these products everyday since I got them in the mail, and we still have a ton left. With that being said, I also want to add that not only do my two boys use it, but it has also become the wash of choice for me and my husband. Before I go further, I’m talking about using different facial soaps and skin cleansers throughout my life, never staying loyal to just one—what were you thinking? For shame!<br /> <br />In high school, Cuticura’s deep blue and Neutrogena’s golden bar soaps kept my skin clear. Another wonder? Ivory soap, pure and simple. Before I am run out of this site by a group of wilding Megheads, please listen. I’ve had more women with flawless complexions tell me that they have used only Ivory and that less is more. My only question with the brand is why a bar that is 99 and 44/100% pure stings my eyes so viciously. She is a wise steward of her resources. Her message told me that she fully comprehended why I try to point out that women often—not always—pay mainly for name recognition and packaging and I did a dance of joy. Without a dissection of formulas, more products than you know have the same key ingredients and only the names and places where they are purchased differentiate them.
