Miss Annika and her mom came to Snoqulamie this evening for her senior session. I know I have said it before, but I love seniors!!

Annika was so much fun and brought super fun clothes and accessories! It was a blast!

Miss Sofia (from the last post) brought her super cute cousins by with her. Chase is just 3 weeks younger than her. How cool is that to grow up that close in age with a fun cousin?? I am so jealous! Chase and Ryder did an awesome job and Ryder is such a great big brother/cousin!! Aren’t they just the cutest??

I was so excited for Miss Sofia to come over this morning to have her 6 month pictures taken. She’s sure grown up a lot in the past 5 months since we did her newborn pictures! She is such a happy baby and full of smiles…love her!!

I love shooting senior portraits! There is just something so exciting about young adults embarking on such a monumental time in their life. It truly is a right of passage. I was very excited to meet up with April and her mom yesterday to take her senior portraits. I suggested we meet at a local dog park that has some great locations. April hadn’t been there before and she LOVED it…I am not sure we could have picked a better location for her! It was so awesome to see her beautiful smile each time she’d spot a new kind of dog. She seemed truly at ease in this lovely location.

{Workshop} | Snoqualmie Family, Child and Senior Photographer

At the beginning of August I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a workshop hosted by Dana Jackson. It was in Carolina Beach, North Carolina (right next to Wilmington). It was nothing like I imagined there. I expected because it is so hot to have things dried up and not have a lot of greenery (think of the drive between Oregon and San Diego here) but it was beautiful, green and lush! Dana did such an amazing job organizing this for us. We were able to focus on family, maternity, couple, newborn and senior portraits ~ we had it all packed in and had 20 superb models to work with! Wow! It honestly went too quickly and I can not wait to meet up with this amazing group of woman again next year!

I want to share just a few images that I was able to capture during the workshop….I would LOVE to have these beaches here to photograph on!!

I first talked with Corrie (Courtney) a few months back and she was super excited to plan some pictures with her boyfriend plus her twin sister with her brother-in-law. We picked the date and were all set. Then I got the most exciting email….Michael and Corrie had gone to Ireland and got engaged!!! Eeek!! Now we got to do not only family shots but ENGAGEMENT images!!! I am over the moon to have the privilege to be a part of such a wonderful time in their lives. These two sister’s and their guys were so much fun….full of fun stories(think cereal and fun family stories) and laughs! I had a blast!

My sister and her 5 children came up to Washington to visit and it was so wonderful to reconnect and get to spend time with her babies that I see much too infrequently. I was so excited to get my hands on them (even if only 4 of them showed up for picture time). I do love them so! Each of them has their unique features and personalities that I get so excited to capture. Thanks for coming to visit Auntie! I hope you enjoy your images….many more to come!
(Can you believe they took such awesome shots after sitting in the car for four hours driving up to see me!?)

This little lady was the star of the show. She turned 6 months old this past week. We had to do some training for sitting up but she did so great!! I love her beautiful smile and blue eyes!

Little man is such a ham!

I have to LOVE this one as I firmly believe he stole this face from my son!

Mom was worried I didn’t get any smiles….are you kidding!?

Beautiful Taylor….the wonderful, doting big sister. I adore her bashful glance to her mom here.

I have to admit that one is not as in focus as he should be but as I have heard before…it is so emotionally in focus and I adore it as it is so THEM!

Miss Naomi braved the heat (90 degrees is quite hot for us Seattle folks) to join me for an awesome 6 month session today! I last got to photograph her when she was just a peanut of about 1 month I think. Her beautiful blue eyes are just gorgeous and when she smiles her entire face lights up! It was such a pleasure to meet up with she and her mom this evening!

I had such a blast shooting my recent 6 month old guy that I want to do some more!! I am looking for 2-3 babies 6-7 months old (already sitting independently). I want some on location shoots!

So send me an email, leave a comment or let me know you’re interested. The chosen babies will receive a complimentary session fee (a $125 value)!

I hate to post and not include an image….so just an example of a fun location we could use….
