With all my friends recently announcing their pregnancies, I thought I would develop a package where you could get every portrait you need to document the first year of life. It's so special to welcome a child to this world, and they grow up before we can realize we forgot to document it.

The Collection will be SEVEN portrait sessions in a little over 15 months!!!!
Comes with (25) Birth announcements, (25) 1st Birthday announcements
Print Package (Each session) will include (1) 11x14, (2) 5x7, (5) 4x6 and (8) wallets of your favorite pose.
A One of a kind Coffee Table Book of all the portraits taken during the Collection will also be included.

First you will start with a Maternity Session... I already know what you are thinking... "Why would I want to document my stretch marks?" There is nothing more beautiful to me than a glowing Momma awaiting her new baby. There is excitement and joy when a soon-to-be mom walks in and lights up a room!

The Newborn Session; The title speaks for itself. This session will take place no later than 10 days old. I want to capture the baby's first expressions, interactions, and bond with the family as a whole unit. This is the start of something amazing.
The Collection further consists of sessions at 3 montths, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, and a 15 month Family Session to end out a wonderful first 15 months.

The Collection is $1250 and provides you with the ease of knowing this is one thing you do not have to stress about during the first year. It makes for an AMAZING gift to any new Mommy and Daddy!

So I was trying to create less confusion and less chaos for me. So I have combined my website and blog into one. From now on this is the only website for Shutterly Amazing Photography. I have notice this seems to be a trend with photographers and I thought I would jump on it!

So I should fill some of you in on HUGE changes yet again in our life. We have moved! SHOCKER I know. The Meintrup family now resides in Bethalto, IL! I know its a far cry from Jacksonville, NC but we are making all the necessary adjustments to making it work.

I also thought to let my Virginia Beach & Jacksonville people know where to go to find a GREAT photographers! Both have personally photographed my family!

The Payne Family

I met Melinda, Bill & Isabella for the first time this week. I was so excited to do some formal portraits with Bill in his Marine dress blues, I could hardly contain myself. It's not often a man will put on that uniform willingly for anyone! LOL... I had a blast getting candid shots of little Isabella. Here is a preview of how they turned out!

This crew is amazing! I love this family. I first met Ryleigh and her mom Adrienne at the doctor's office(of all places) in April of this year. My Riley and Adrienne's Ryleigh took to each other like two peas in a pod. I recently shot Ryleigh's senior portraits and her mom booked a family session soon after. This will be the last family session they receive for a while with both kids under one roof. I managed to get a couple of shots in between the belly-laughs and chasing my Riley around the living room!

I watched a movie tonight that has shaken the way I think. I was raised in a family who I thought were Christians we went to church every Sunday and I was taught bible stories. However in the past three year (since marrying my husband) I have learned what I was taught was not how God intend it to be. You cant just show up at church on Sunday and that's it. You have to peruse him in everything you do, everyday of your life. Its not easy, often times it's the hardest thing.

The past three years have not been easy for me personally, my marriage, or career. I have lost so much to be bitter and angry (trust me I was for a long time after my USN career ended) in my childhood and in the present day. What I did not realize was God was preparing me to able to accept people again, to open up my heart, in doing that I had to let him in first. I believe God is working in my life to help me fill whole again. I know he sent my husband to walk beside me because he knew he would be the one to stick it out through the hard times.

I encourage each of you to watch this movie. It has touched me in a way that only God can.
