Schutt’s TPU Football Helmet Padding will Protect Your Melon – Video

Schutt released some entertaining videos demonstrating the effectiveness of their TPU cushioning. You can see them test their padding with a bowling ball drop, a leaf blower, steak (yes, steak!), and a tub of water. These, of course, aren't the official tests, but they still show how well their padding performs.

Last November, I wrote an article about Easton taking their early release 2011 bat design to players, coaches, and dealers for feedback on the graphic designs. I'm happy to report that Easton is at it again with their new Fall 2011 bat line. Prototypes of these bats are being taken all over the country for feedback, and I was lucky enough to be in on one of these previews.

Two Products that Will Improve Your Batting Practices

Batting practice and tee drills were my favorite part softball practice. I could swing a bat all day and still want to do more. There was one part of batting practice I didn't care for, though. Rounding up all the softballs and refilling the ball bucket was such a hassle! Also, bending over to get a softball to reload the batting tee just felt awkward and slowed me down. All that time wasted picking up softballs could have been used for more practice. If you can relate, I've come across two products you should check out.
