When I met Angela I was due to be a father soon with Sydney on the way. I enjoyed getting to know a little about her daughter, Hanna. When Angela asked if it’d be cool to let Hanna tag along on the engagement shoot, I thought that was a great idea…she is after the maid of honor!

I think you can tell from the shots that we had a great time and Hanna was the star!

I have a problem…I’m addicted to Apple products. Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, iPhone…even my stupid router. Mom came home with an Apple II+ way back in the early 80’s so I guess it’s her fault. I love that I have a job where tools I love to use are part of my daily routine.

…so when I meet a couple that both work for Apple, I of course HAVE to book their wedding! I’m being a little silly of course.

Many couples talk about making their wedding day their own but Jessie and Soence weren’t messing around. There wedding was this last weekend and was awesome, but in until I blog it and her Bridal…sink your teeth into some of their fun Engagement images from our evening in Ft. Worth.

Another fun book!

I wrote yesterday about Savannah and pat and look forward to sharing more about their wedding soon. This is the guestbook I designed for their wedding day from their engagement session images. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I love making these book! I wish Lee and I had one at our wedding.

South Lake Engagement Session-Savannah and Pat

Do I have the coolest job or what? I got an email from Savannah about an hour before my daughter was born in May. She thanked me for my service in the Air Force and told me about her true love, Pat. Recently graduated from the West Point Military Academy and now in Helicopter school, I knew this was a couple that I wanted to get to know more.

We shot these engagement images in South Lake this September and the hardest part was to get them to stop calling me sir! I think they finally got comfortable calling me Phil as the left on their wedding day!

I met Lauren and her sweet Mom through my friend and amazing DJ Glenn Roush. Lauren and Trevor will be married next May and I hope they know it will be here in a flash! We shot their engagement session in Coppell late August and they were complete naturals!

Abbi and Mike’s Guest Book!

With all of the weddings in the last few months and still a few more to go this season I have been designing guest books like crazy! As always I can’t recommend the Fundy Album Builder strongly enough. It as an amazing link in my workflow! If you’re a photographer struggling with an efficient way to design great layouts, run…don’t walk to by yourself a copy!

McKinney, TX Wedding-Luke and Wendy

Luke and Wendy’s wedding was late August and was a very special and personal affair. The guest list was obviously chosen to select only the most special and closest of friends and family and the warm atmosphere of celebration reflected that fact.

Luke and Wendy have been such a no nonsense and easy couple to shoot and work for and I’m grateful to both of you!

Hello Old Blog

My blog posting has definitely fallen to the back burner. Since I last posted we have sold our house, bought another and moved. I’ve been shooting and editing like crazy as well as setting up the new awesome home studio! I’ve got my first consult here soon and can’t wait to show it off.

In addition to that, Sydney is growing like a weed, grabbing everything in sight and rolling all over the place. What a ride!

There have been so many great wedding and shoots in the last two months, look for a flood of posts as I catch up sharing it all here.
