·         Conduct joint home visits with each rehab staff member at least annually and documents in his or her personnel file.

·         Discuss difficult and problem cases with staff members on a daily basis as observed by the Executive Director.

·         Prepare employee performance evaluations based on objective, measurable documentation within time frames stated on the evaluation form as observed by the Executive Director.

·         Assure employees are evaluated against clearly defined standards of performance, indicating areas of strength and growth needs.

·         Apply rating factors consistently and objectively among employees as documented on evaluations.

·         Assure establishment of mutually agreed upon goals and behavioral objectives for upcoming year and documents on evaluation form.

·         Assure follow up on established goals and objectives to insure completion.

Working under immediate supervision of the Project Director, the Research Associate will analyze digital images of bone using image analysis software. Lower extremity biomechanics will also be analyzed and stored along with images.  You will be asked to prepare reports and tables summarizing data generated from these image analyses.  This position will also require written and verbal communication with Center staff and scientists from nearby institutions to collaborate on measurements and calculations, and to report status updates.  Training on the proprietary image analysis software will be provided.

Qualified candidates must have a BS/BA degree (MPH preferred) with a solid background in commonly-used computer software. <description><![CDATA[The Property Manager has the responsibility of managing the waiting list, handling rental inquiries and leasing apartments according to HUD guidelines. The Property Manager will build a relationship and provide support to potential tenants from initial inquiry to move-in and further provide building and program orientation.

Responsibilities:

- Responds to telephone inquiries about the building.

- Shows apartments and gives tours to prospective tenants.

- Apartment leasing:

- Review all paper work required with prospective tenants. Explain

meal program in detail.

- Send out third party verification letters

- Run credit checks

- Put all information onto Yardi Software System

- Lease signing - review all paperwork, 50059 process, leases,

house rules, medical forms, inspection forms, etc.

-  Review move in procedure. Collect first month’s rent and one month’s

security deposit. Send security deposit to bank.  Make copies,

put in book and give copies to Accountant.

- Provide keys and fobs for new tenants. Checks that keys were returned from

tenants moved out. Make sure that extra keys and fobs are ordered when necessary.

- Coordinate with maintenance on rehab of apartments; follow through on

progress of work and review complaints by new tenants.

- Provide orientation to new tenants.

- Coordinate all moves with other staff.

- Arrange new tenant receptions.

- Maintain and update tenant directories on intercom system in vestibules

- Print name-tags for doors.

- Make certain medical forms and apartment inspection forms are returned and filed.

WAITING LIST MANAGEMENT

- Answer telephone requests on status and give out information and applications to prospective tenants.

- Fill in “remarks” section on waiting list spreadsheet after contact from applicants. Also note contact date and remarks on cover of their files.

- Send out information update letters each summer to everyone on waiting list. Work with volunteers to monitor and post responses - and file responses in appropriate file.

-Send out waiting list removal letters to those who did not respond.

- Send out full applications to those who have been on list for a few years and are close to being called for an apartment. Send out waiting list removal letters to those who do not respond.

·         Serve as the primary liaison for annual data testing and auditing for retirement plans, flexible spending plans, and other compliance requirements.

Analytics:

·         Create, generate, and maintain effective HR reporting for each business area, including turnover, headcount, succession planning, recruiting, and other key metrics to drive organizational effectiveness.

<description><![CDATA[Position Summary:

Reporting to the Community Life Coordinator, the Transportation Specialist is responsible for transporting the Center Communities of Brookline residents via shuttle bus by following a daily schedule provided by the site. The Transportation specialist will be responsible for ensuring all safety precautions are adhered to and that all regular maintenance is done on the vehicle.

Position Responsibilities:

* Assists tenants in and out of vehicle and provides assistance with parcels where required.

* Assure that the maintenance schedule for vehicle is followed and checks vehicle to ensure it is in safe working order.  (Inspect windows for cleanliness.) Reports changes in vehicles functionality to supervisor.

* Arrives in time to fuel van and clean interior so departure is not delayed.

* Strictly follows monthly transportation schedule and prohibits non-scheduled drop-offs and pick-ups.

* Knowledgeable on how to handle an accident.  Follows proper reporting procedures and provides assistance in all emergency situations.

* Is aware of individual tenant needs in ambulation.

* Follows all Commonwealth of Massachusetts laws.

* Other duties as requested.

The candidate must also meet requirements for a faculty level appointment (Assistant or Associate Professor) at Harvard Medical School.

Reporting to Dr. Sharon Inouye, Director of the Aging Brain Center (ABC) and Professor of Medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, this faculty level researcher will bring expertise in his or her own area of research, while also fully engaging in collaborative projects in the Aging Brain Center. Currently, the ABC investigators are exploring the interrelationship of delirium and dementia/Alzheimer's disease; the evaluation of vulnerability to cognitive dysfunction and the elucidation of cognitive reserve capacity; and post-operative cognitive dysfunction. Studies focus on biological, medical, social and psychological factors influencing cognitive function as people age. After a 3-year period of start-up support, , the candidate will be expected to secure independent grant funding to support a successful career in clinical research.]]></description>
<qualification><![CDATA[The successful candidate will possess the following: A Ph.D. or M.D.  in a relevant field, as well as post-doctoral research training followed by at least 1-2 years of faculty level research.  Preference will be given to those candidates with a Ph.D. or advanced clinical degree in neuropsychology, psychology, epidemiology, gerontology, or aging research, although related fields will be considered. The candidate should possess a strong academic background in clinical epidemiologic research of cognition in older adults, demonstrated ability to obtain independent grant funding from federal (preferred) or nonfederal sources, mentorship experience, and success in having first-authored peer-reviewed publications.
