Hippie Cream have not retired. We are currently wrapping up the Antique Imagination album, with a short film to follow. Lots of new music happening just not many shows or internet updates. Come pick up a copy of the Marty film at our upcoming December gig, we should be a lot more active with updates once we are ready to unleash our new record on the interwebs.

Movie Premiere

Marty's Magnificent Day-Glo Dream-a-thon premiered last night and it was magical! The theater was filled to the brim with friends and family. The after party afterwards was also awesome! We are still buzzing with the good vibes and we hope everybody gets the chance to experience Marty over the coming year! Can not say enough about the creative brains Dan and Stephen as well as all the actors, cast, and crew who made this movie a reality.

A Brief Update

Just a few quick updates for those of you fine folks kind enough to check our news page:
We are in the final stages of finishing up our new album "Antique Imagination". We are planning to have it completed by June. It is a more humble project than the Marty movie soundtrack. Just cleanly recorded songs that we hope you will enjoy. But speaking of the Marty movie.........

Come on down to Hemet, CA on June 17th to see the Hippie Cream Musical movie premiere on the big screen! Check our calender for details.

Also our podcast continues to be the most downloaded media on our website. I wish we could create them on a more consistent basis, but we plan on completing another episode in April.

Marty Movie Wrap Up!

Here are a few quick notes of what is happening in hippie cream land.....
The Hippie Cream film "Marty's Magnificent Day-Glo Dream-a-thon" has basically wrapped production. There is one more sequence that will be filmed in November and then it is one heck of an editing job ahead for Dan Maggio!
We had such a great summer experience filming the movie, but with fall upon us it is time to look ahead into the H. Cream Universe. We are going to begin rehearsals for our Marty-centric show which we hope to start playing out with in the spring.
The movie release date has been pushed to the summer of 2011, but the album is complete and mastered. We are hoping to have it released in some fashion by January. Song samples should be spilling forth on the website in the coming months.

Also to all of you downloading the podcasts thanks a heap. They are the most popular feature on our website. I wish we could be more consistent with them. The next one (already half recorded) will probably be heading your way at the tail end of November.
