Kiwi from Le.Gardenie

As you can see in the picture above, it’s a drawing of Kiwi, the main female character in Le.Gardenie graphical comic. It is the last serious drawing I did. It was 5 months ago.

Since I have nothing to update, I think I’ll just share a video of one of my favourite songs – Love 119 by K.Will and MC Mong. I discovered this song when I searched about “JoongBo” on YouTube and fell in love with it right away. There’s even a fan made video about the adorable *JoongBo couple with Love 119 as the background song – turned out beautifully. It really is a nice song. And I really like K.Will’s manly voice!

This blog has turn into a personal blog, I must admit it. I probably will start blogging about design related stuff or anything related to arts again someday; I miss doing it so much.

*JoongBo couple is the name given to Kim Hyun Joong and Hwang Bo when they were coupled in We Got Married, a famous Korean reality TV show.

My sister has flown to Sarawak on last Tuesday to start a new phase in her life; she’s gonna live and work there. It feels different without her here; at least to me. Honestly saying, I do feel like something is missing the first two days after she has gone. We do live separately most of the time; we only meet each other once in a while whenever she comes to visit me or when I return to home. But it’s the family bond thingy; we always feel closer to each other.

Her departure does affect me a little if not much. Maybe because she’s going to make a living there, which means she’s gonna stay there; it’s not a one-week vacation or whatsoever. I feel sad sometimes, I couldn’t help it. But then I think – she’s going for a good reason, so I’m not gonna be sad. Instead, I will always pray for her well-being and safety, and that she will adapt and live well in Sarawak. I know she will. May God bless her. Be happy, be healthy, be safe! And go get a broadband as soon as possible!

After a long wait, yesterday, KreativeThemes has finally offically started off its business. This instrumental music really is amazingly beautiful that I just can’t stop listening to it and sharing it with the others. The song played by Ólafur Arnalds, a multi-instrumentalist and producer from Mosfellsbær, Iceland. And he is just 22 years old. What a genius.

This year’s Hari Raya, as usual, all family members and relatives gathered together and celebrated Hari Raya at our Grandma’s house in Sungai Petani, Kedah. Later in the evening, my family and I went back to Aunt’s house in Penang to celebrate Hari Raya with our other relatives.

Packing things such as chocolates and Raya cookies for relatives few days before Hari Raya was one of my favorite moments. Funny things happened.

Raya cookies, chocolates, etc. Banyak lagi kat tepi-tepi tu. Tak muat nak masuk gambar. Hihi.

Throw everything into the car; even on the backseat. Poor brothers. But they looked happy!

On Hari Raya itself. Our family theme for this year is yellow/orange/gold/dark chocolate - well, that tone of colors.

The Three Bears.

This photo was taken on Hari Raya Kedua. We were on our way to Tok Chu’s house in Sidam. The journey took us about 45 minutes if I’m not mistaken. These little kids are my cousins and little brother. The center one is the naughtiest!

It’s common for us to have a brief photo session during Hari Raya. Plus, we have a lot of “photographers” in our big family to snap every moments that passes by. That explains why we have so many photos taken.

I’m pretty sure I won’t have time to update my blog after this, so I’m taking this opportunity to wish Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to Hellofath.com readers and to all Muslims that will be celebrating this holy festival in few days more.

Last night, we had successfully organized a so-called private event specially for Biomedicine senior girls – main bunga api! The event was held near the faculty. Not everyone was there but still, it was full of fun. Apa salahnya menjadi juvana kejap. Bila lagi nak have fun macam ni dengan coursemate kan. Hihihi.

Shoot! The last one before we say goodnight.

Forgive me for the poor image quality. It’s really hard to produce beautiful night snapshots with digital compact camera. I have to use high ISO which causes the grainy effect. That’s the best I can do for that night.

Some friends have safely return to their respective hometowns. Kema is the earliest I know to do so. Hari Selasa lagi dah pulang ke rumah. I’ll be going back tomorrow after class together with Izzati and Azimah. I don’t know about the rest, not sure whether they have confirm or not.

Salam and hello. For those who haven’t know yet, I’m back to my working life again. I’m now part of a creative team made up of Malaysian designers and developers, with myself being the designer. I’m really happy to be part of this team and I wanna thank to everyone there for giving me this precious opportunity!

Footnote: Even though I’m very busy with my lab works, I can’t get my hands off Photoshop! And so, I made a decision to come back.

Ngeh ngeh. Saya tak sabar mahu pulang ke pangkuan keluarga.

So everyone is taking the opportunity to return to their homes this weekend, since Monday will be a public holiday in honour of our 52nd Independence Day. I too, am going back to Alor Setar tomorrow with (as usual) Izzati, but this time around we’ll be accompanied by Izzati’s brother. We’ll be going back just by bus since Air Asia flight ticket is so damn expensive! Tak dapek ler nak membelinye. So I have to start packing as soon as possible, since I’m just going to bring back my laptop bag. Have to be very selective and make wise decision. Eheheh.

He is most happy when his sisters and brother come home.

Finally I could get some rest at home and escape from a hectic schedule for 3 days. But I cannot be 100% in holiday mood since I will be sitting for Principle of Health test that I missed (when I was sick) and presenting my final year project proposal on next week. So I have to be well prepared for both. Wish me luck!

How I wish I could be with my family on the first day of this fasting month. What more my big brother who lives and works in Langkawi, the one I haven’t meet for quiet some time, is coming home this weekend. I hope we could all gather together someday before the fasting month ends.
