This big brush from Daniel Sandler is my new secret weapon in achieving flawless finish with my base products.

You know how sometimes when you first apply foundation it can actually accentuate enlarged pores rather than disguise them, well this fabbie brush totally sorts out that problem!

 Now I can pretty much slap on whatever foundation, BB cream or tinted moisturiser I fancy, then buff it in with this brush to get the most blended beautiful finish.

It is a subtle difference in the photo, but much more noticeable in the flesh.

If you like to set your base with powder then this brush is fantastic for this too, as its combination of both natural and synthetic fibre pick up the right amount product to make sure you don’t over powder. It’s fab for bronzer for this reason too.

Oh my goodness, I am completely in love with this Illamasqua lipstick, shade Eurydice, from the Spring Summer 12 Human Fundamentalism collection at ASOS.

It is super vibrant, really long lasting and perfectly matte without being too drying. I have fairly dry lips anyway and still got on very well with this formula.

Literally everyone I saw yesterday asked me what shade I was wearing! It costs £15.50 at ASOS.

The texture is perfect to do the job in hand well. The exfolitating ‘bits’ (technical eh?!) are big enough to tackle the dead skin and smooth enough not to scratch the new skin. The jelly base is lovely and sticky which means a blast from the shower isn’t going to wash it away before you have properly got to work with massaging it into the skin.

The best thing about it is that it is really very gentle, does not irritate my skin in the slightest and is very moisturising too. It is so gentle in fact that I have used immediately after hair removal (tested with shaving, home waxing and hair removal cream!!) and I have had no reaction. Excellent for a girl that’s always in a rush and can’t wait to get everything done. I have even gone in with fake tan straight after as it leaves skin super smooth and ready for tan.

They were super comfy and looked really pretty (£42).

 The service from Beach Cafe was incredible. When I ordered, I selected the standard service which costs £2 and promises delivery within 2-3 days. My beautiful box, however, arrived the very next day with my things wrapped in pretty tissue.  I shall be keeping the box for more makeup storage!

And now I am all set for my Summer holidays too!!

I really like the Imagine Spa ethos. It is all about flexibility - you simply book an amount of spa time and then choose your spa treatments when you arrive. No pressure to decide before hand!

 Our robes and towels were waiting for us. We couldn’t find free sun beds at first but the lovely Imagine Spa girls quickly made some available and we were well on our way to relaxation. So we lounged on super comfy sunbeds right by the bubbling jacuzzi. 

We had a long lay down. It was really warm in a gorgeous hypnotic way. I drifted in and out of sleep. Perfect!

 We had a gorgeous lunch (yummy club sandwich) and then later went for a dip in the pool, a sauna and a steam. Seriously relaxing.

 I zonked out by the pool again and was woken when it was time to go for our Mud Serail Treatment. This part was really great because the staff come and find you when it’s time for your appointments. No boring clock watching or staying awake!

 The Mud Serail Treatment was serious messy fun. You sit in a chamber with 2 seats facing each other and after you’ve applied your mud (we did each others backs) you sit back and relax whilst the programme takes you through a steam, a tropical mist and then a refreshing rain shower….twice. It was fab.

We then showered off and flopped back on to our sunbeds. I fell asleep again!!!

 I was then woken in time for my hour long anti- ageing facial which was totally amazing. I’m slightly embarrassed to admit that I actually fell asleep again during the treatment! Is this some kind of  narcolepsy?! Or maybe this is what relaxation feels like! Not sure as I am generally rubbish at being relaxed!

 I opted for a fab facial and scalp massage with a brilliant mask that contained nettle extract. It really woke my face up. I loved it and my skin was glowing after.

 We then retreated to the hotel room got ready and hit the pub that was attached to the hotel for dins and drinks. Obviously the advice was to avoid alcohol after my treatment, but we were having too much fun. Naughty!

 We had such a brilliant time! I would thoroughly recommend Imagine Spa for full-on, no pressure relaxation. They do some really good deals too, so chances are you can pick up a bargain!
