But no investigating is needed because Khanyi Mbau says she know who did it. In a tweet posted by Mbau she claims that her ex-boyfriend Theunis Crous is behind the privacy violation and that the pictures were leaked in order to "destroy" her. But Crous and his wife released a statement to the media in which they deny playing any role in the leaked pictures.

According to some reports close to the anonymous source of these private photos, Khanyi Mbau cell phone was purportedly hacked and these naked photos of her were posted on several social networks. Other reports seem to suggest that Khanyi Mbau is behind the leaking of her own nude photos as a ploy to garner publicity.
