Backstreet Boys

One of the biggest selling bands of all time, The Backstreet Boys have sold over 110 million records worldwide. If that’s not an impressive enough statistic, then it’s worth mentioning they’ve generated over 1/2 billion dollars in concert ticket sales as well. Needless to say, when they came to ground(ctrl) in the fall of 2007, we knew we had a hot property on our hands.

Papa Roach

Our relationship with Papa Roach pre-dates the existence of ground(ctrl) by almost a decade. Whether it’s Eddie Meehan’s days working with band in early 2000 while a part of CBS radio, or Greg Patterson’s years spent touring with the band and managing their online properties. This intricate understanding of the band, their fans and their artistic integrity led to Papa Roach becoming the very first client for ground(ctrl).

Daughtry

Chris Daughtry is a true success story. After leaving American Idol long before anyone expected, he seized the opportunity to form a band and record the music he’d always heard playing in his head. The bands self titled album became the fastest selling debut rock album in Soundscan history, selling over 5 million albums. The band is currently touring in support of their second release, Leave This Town, which is quickly burning up the charts.

Fun Fun Fun Festival

Fun Fun Fun Fest made its first appearance on a cold Austin Friday evening at Waterloo Park in 2006. Using a unique approach to festival booking by filling stages with what is bubbling from the underground, what sounds great, and what is making an impact, regardless of what Pollstar or the mainstream media said was cool. What started out as a show for a few touring acts and local favorites became a movement, and a festival that fans and bands alike realized needed to be experienced year after year.
