NOTE FROM GOBBIE: I am sorry I haven't been posting on this site as much as I should. But I'll try to swing(pun?) back into action whenever I get the chance to! So anyways, here's a big scoop I wanna bring up for all you webheads!

Promoting Battleground, an original scripted Hulu series, executive producer and The Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb discussed both projects. Exceptionally commenting on shooting his "untold" Spidey story in real 3-D, via Collider, in addition to when to expect an all-new trailer, read the interview excerpt below!

You joked about too many superhero movies. Do you feel like you’re part of the problem now?
"No, I’m really excited for The Amazing Spider-Man to come out."

When can we expect to see a new trailer?
"Soon. Within the next month."

How wonderful was it to have the technology from 3eality to shoot with?
"We shot with the 3eality rigs. It was great. It’s a different format, but it was really, really wonderful. And for Spider-Man, I think that’s an important thing."

On Saturday, the Spike TV's Video Game Awards shown off the full trailer for "The Amazing Spider-Man" video game trailer. And I have to admit, it is very epic! Take a look below!

New Details & Trailer on 'The Amazing Spider-Man' video game!

A couple of days ago Marvel had revealed the first official trailer, details and artwork for The Amazing Spider-Man video game, a tie-in which will serve as an epilogue occurring after the events of the movie. The game will also see the return of free-roaming web-slinging as well as improvements to the navigation and combat systems in a storyline which will see the hero, "protecting Manhattan from a variety of criminals." Beenox are developing the game which features an original narrative from Spartacus: Gods of the Arena writer Seamus Kevin Fahey. Also mentioned is the game's new "Web Rush Mechanic" which will allow players to pull off never before seen moves in battles which apparently take place above AND below the streets of Manhattan. Drake Bell Says ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN Animated Series Is "True To The Comics"

"It’s awesome. The animation is unbelievable. It’s 2-D but it’s the coolest 2-D animation you’ve ever seen," the actor told MTV News while discussing his role as Peter Parker in the 2012 animated series, Ultimate Spider-Man. "It's going to be really true [to the comics]," he revealed. "There’s tons of different [versions of Spider-Man]. He’s in high school. He doesn’t have, the webs don’t come out of his arms. He’s a science nerd, so he figured out how to make sticky web substance and they’re called web shooters. So it’s more like the 'Ultimate Spider-Man' comic book than the Tobey Maguire [movie] or the new 'Amazing Spider-Man' or anything like that." Huh, guess no one told him that Andrew Garfield's live action take on the iconic Marvel character WILL include web shooters!

Regardless, Drake then went on say that while he's enjoyed his time voicing the animated version of Spider-Man, his role in comedy Superhero Movie gave him a taste of what it would be like to play a superhero on the big screen in live action. "I love comic books. I love superheroes. I did ‘Superhero Movie’ years ago... it’s fun. I would love to do that again in a serious role that was all slap stick comedy." Kirsten Dunst And Tobey Maguire Wanted Cameos In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Reboot

The quirky beauty says that both she and Tobey had hoped to make a cameo in Sony's reboot of the Spider-Man franchise but the top Execs at Sony were having none of it.

“I wanted to do a cameo,” explains Kirsten.

“I had the idea of Tobey and I as extras and we’d just walk by in the background but it’s not in there. I love Andrew Garfield and I think Emma Stone (who plays love interest Gwen Stacey) is cute too. I think that they’re going to be really cute in the movie for sure. They look like they have good chemistry.”

Romantic chemistry is a key focal point of the Spider-Man franchise in drawing in audience members that aren't necessarily fans of the old web-head. While a lot of things can be said about the original movie, from praise to criticism, Tobey and Kirsten definitely had chemistry. Hopefully Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone will bring their real life romantic chemistry to the big screen and deliver the best Spider-Man movie yet.

News on "The Amazing Spider-Man" Video Game!

Beenox, the company that helped Spider-Man get back into the gaming industry with last year's hit "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions" and this year's "Spider-Man: Edge of Time", is now in development on the Spider-Man movie reboot video game "The Amazing Spider-Man". If you want to check out the trailer that was shown at the New York Comic Con '11, then click here. Here's a little bit (but not much) of info from the panel.

Amazing Spider-Man is being made by Beenox, the studio behind the two most recent Spider-Man games, but this new game been in development by a dedicated team who have been working on it for over a year, according to Gerard Lehinay, the studio's creative director. Lehiany introduced the game at a Marvel video games panel at today's Con, saying that the creators wanted to make New York City an integral part of Spider-Man games again. "We brought back the city into Spider-Man games," he said. "For us it is important to be able to web-swing in the city. So that's one of the major things that we've been working on."

The game will be out alongside Marvel's re-boot Spider-Man movie this summer, but it will have its own story. It will also have a currently-secret "new gameplay feature" that, Lehiany teased, is designed "for you to feel like Spider-Man." Forgive me if I misunderstood his accent (he's French-Canadian), but I believe he said "It's an acrobatic tool in the game."

If you haven't watched the video yet, you should, then come back here. At the end when it shown the big robot (bigger than Central Park pretty much) caught my attention, but it also confuses me too. What do you think it might be, or who you think created it? I think it might be Alistaire Smythe, but that's just my perspective. I just wonder how will this factor in the story for the game, and will it make sense for it to be there in the first place; given the movie's new sense of realism, and darker tone.

Martin Sheen talks about Sally Field and Andrew Garfield

Out promoting his recent film, The Way, the folks from Examiner caught up with actor Martin Sheen, 'Uncle Ben' of Sony and Marc Webb's reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man. Vapidly praising 'Peter Parker' star, Andrew Garfield, read on below.

“It was a wonderful company. I adore Sally Field,” he said.
“I hadn’t worked with her in years and it was a chance to do it,” he said.

“The lad that played Spider-Man/Peter Parker had just come off a huge success with Social Network,” Sheen said. “He could not have been more welcoming or solicitous or kind and courteous. I was just really taken with him. This kid is going to be a big star.”

The Amazing Spider-Man releases in 3D next year on July 3rd. The movie is directed by Marc Webb, and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, and Rhys Ifans.

Rest In Peace Cliff Robertson; Spider-Man 'Uncle Ben' Actor Passes Away

In 2002, Spider-Man revitalized the comic book movie into the standing in pop culture it is today. One of the best aspects of this film was the brief but brilliant performance by Academy Award winner Cliff Robertson. By saying the famous phrase, "With great power comes great responsibility," Robertson won over a whole new generation of fans as Peter Parker's wise uncle, Ben Parker. He reprised this role in Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3 (his final film appearance).

Robertson had other claims from Oscar-winning performance in Charly as the title character, a mentally-handicapped man who, with brain-boosting medication, was able to overcome his problems with tragic results. He was also in PT 109 as John F. Kennedy (hand-picked by the man himself and was highly praised in the role). On the small screen, Robertson made a guest appearance on "The Twilight Zone" in an episode where he played a ventriloquist with a dummy that is more than meets the eye. He also was a guest-villain on "Batman" as the criminal cowboy Shame (parody of Shane) and fought against the Dynamic Duo.

Andrew Garfield "Studied Spiders" For His Role in The Amazing Spider-Man!

On What He Felt He Had To Avoid While Preparing For The Role:

There’s so much to do with it, I didn’t really think about avoiding anything. I just didn’t come at it that way. I wanted him to have fun. I wanted it to feel like Peter Parker could have some fun and wasn’t just trying to save the world. He could have fun even after the responsibility has been thrust upon him and he has to save the city. I really wanted to do something physical that was genuine and authentic and inspired by the different artists over the years. His physicality is something which I’ve been obsessed by and I’ve loved.

On How Actual Spiders Ended Up Influencing And Effecting His Performance:

What would having spider DNA constituting a percentage of your blood — what would that do? So I studied spiders, I studied their movements and how they operate in the world and I tried to incorporate as much of that as I could. He’s a boy/spider in terms of how he moves, and not just in the suit. It also shapes the way he interacts with people. A spider is so sensitive; their skin is sensitive to everything. That’s the thing with the spider sense and the way he takes in everything. Imagine all of your skin was as sensitive as a spider, the slightest gust of wind would feel like a tornado going by. You’d always be rushing, that rush. What does that do to you? The idea of how he adjusts to that. And I looked at the idea of having more legs, more arms, and the spacial awareness. A spider moves up, down, side-to-side, all around. He’s not linear and with the knowledge of that spatial awareness and the fact that he can be here and then over there incredibly fast. The stillness of a spider and the lightness I found all of that very interesting to explore as well.

On How He Feels About The Extra Recognition Which Will Come From This Role:

I don’t like to think about it. It terrifies me. I don’t want that, actually. I just saw that I was given an opportunity to play a part that I’ve been wanting to play since I was a 2-year-old. I don’t see it any other way. I don’t want the rest of it. The visibility thing — the being a more visible actor or just a more visible person in the world — was the one thing that deterred me. That was absolutely the one thing I questioned. Do I want to do this? I thought about it for a month, constantly. I knew there would be a change in my life to an extent. I’m going to do everything I can to make sure I stay part of the world. I want to be able to walk around in this world. I love being alive and I love being a person and I love being able to meet people, meet strangers without them having any preconceived notion of who I am. I love meeting people. I love being me. I don’t want to be anyone else. Of course this comes with a certain life change but I’m going to do everything in my power to hold on to what’s important, which is I am a guy who does a job for a living that comes with some periphery stuff that I’m not interested in. I did take the role, I took it on, and i don’t regret it. It’s meant something to me for all of my life. But I’m going to do my best to remain me.

The actress who plays Mikayla Mikula in Disney XD’s hit series “Pair of Kings” reveals that she will be playing Sally Avril.

Do you have any other upcoming projects between school and work?

Kelsey Chow: I do. I have a very small, little thing in the next ‘Spider-Man’ movie.

That’s amazing.

Kelsey Chow: Thank you so much. I found out last minute and I took off work for a day and went on set and it was surreal. It was crazy.

Who do you work with in the film?

Kelsey Chow: I’m a character school. I play the role of Sally Avril.

I bet being on the set was great.

Kelsey Chow: Absolutely. Just being on the set was great, and I’m very excited to be in the movie and it was interesting to see Andrew Garfield work. It’s such a huge role and it’s a lot to take on, and I think he’s really has a vision with it as well Mark Webb. I think it’s going to be a great movie.

Well, what do you think? I love how they're putting in more characters from the comics, than they did with the Raimi series, which I still think it holds up pretty well. Let's hope this movie serves justice to the source material!

Sally Avril was part of a group of kids in Queens, New York, consisting of Liz Allan, Tiny McKeever, Seymour O'Reilly, Jason Ionello and Peter Parker who were friends since Elementary School. But by the time they arrived at Midtown High School, Peter had drifted apart and the clique was taken over by new student Flash Thompson. From that point, Sally wanted nothing to do with Peter, shooting him down when he asks for a date in favor of "dream boats like Flash Thompson" and coaxing Liz away from Peter rather than offer sympathy after the death of his Uncle Ben. - spiderfan.org

Behind The Voices on "Spider-Man: Edge of Time"!

What's been going on with the upcoming Spider-Man video game "Edge of Time"? Well I found out that three actors were announced to portray the voices of Mary Jane, Black Cat, and a brand-new villain Walker Sloan. You'll be surprised to know whose playing all three (except for the one voicing Black Cat, to me I barely know where she's from, but I don't know, you all might recognize her from somewhere). Laura "Supergirl" Vandervoort (Mary Jane), Katee Sackhoff (Black Cat), and Val "Batman" Kilmer (Walker Sloan). Watch their video interviews below for more info!

It's odd that there are two actors who previously played comic book superheroes in the past, both DC characters. I have no clue who Katee is, and I am too busy to look anything up of her. So if you like you can let me know!

Revealed at this year's San Diego Comic Con, a new trailer revealing new footages for the upcoming Spider-Man: Edge of Time video game!

The release date has been revealed to be October 4th, 2011 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, and the Nintendo 3DS. Pre-order now for the 360 or PS3, and you'll get an exclusive bonus DLC called "Identity Crisis", where Peter Parker gives up being Spider-Man and tries to become a new hero (4 new heroes to be precise). 'Spider-Man' Producer Laura Ziskin Dies at 61

"Spider-Man" producer Laura Ziskin died Sunday evening. She was 61 and had been battling breast cancer for seven years.

Ziskin was perhaps best known for her work on the "Spider-Man" franchise, which brought in over $1.5 billion worldwide, making her one of the most powerful producers in Hollywood.

So...wow...I feel a bit more depressed about this than any other actor, producer, and director that passed away in the past. Not that I didn't care about them, it's just I didn't know them too well. I didn't knew Laura Ziskin too well either, but I guess it's because I grew up watching these movies, and watched the behind the scenes over and over again when I got bored. And all those press conferences, and videos from Comic-Con having all the cast, director, and producers together. Brings back a lot of memories. We'll never forget you Laura, may you Rest In Piece.

MTV caught up with Emma Stone and Bryce Dallas Howard while they were promoting their new movie The Help to get their thoughts on Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man. Stone currently just finished work on The Amazing Spider-Man as Gwen Stacy, and Howard portrayed Stacy in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man 3.

Stone: "He looks like Spider-Man, ya know? It's pretty exciting."

Howard: "I saw Andrew in a leaked photo, and he looked really good."

Emma Stone also let's us know how she prepared for the role of Gwen Stacy.

With so much buzz about the new Spider-Man film, it seems that Stone will be just as surprised as fans to see the flick.

"I've seen nothing, I promise. I've seen small action sequences for the 3-D, and it looked terrible," she joked. "I really haven't seen [anything]."

So what did Stone do to research the role of Gwen — besides leaning on Howard for her first-hand account, of course.

"I read a pretty comprehensive Death of the Stacys book ... and it's a really amazing book to learn the story of Captain Stacy and Gwen Stacy," she said. "And I've read a various amount of comics."

The prize includes one trip for two (2 days/2 nights) to attend Comic-Con San Diego 2011, including hotel accommodations, roundtrip airfare, and transportation to and from the hotel, as well as two passes to attend Comic-Con.

Face Of The Fan® is a Sony Pictures Entertainment initiative that lets moviegoers and TV viewers get involved with Sony Pictures’ projects by participating in online casting calls and contests—turning today’s fans into tomorrow’s stars™. The concept was launched in 2007, tied to Spider-Man 3, when two fans were chosen to bring Spider-Man news to the fans following the film’s website. In November 2010, Face Of The Fan began offering casting calls for various Sony Pictures Entertainment films, including such Screen Gems projects as Lakeshore Entertainment’s Underworld and Rainforest Film’s upcoming Think Like A Man, which is based on Steve Harvey’s national best-seller, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. The site also features contests in which winners can have an opportunity to appear on the red carpet at movie premieres, meet or interview talent, filmmakers, and producers, or even go on the sets of their favorite shows. A Columbia Pictures presentation of a Marvel Studios production, The Amazing Spider-Man, starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Rhys Ifans, is directed by Marc Webb from a screenplay by James Vanderbilt and Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves based on the Marvel Comic Book by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. I'm sorry for posting this up late, just a lot is going on during my time here. But just in case you haven't watch this yet, now is your chance!

It has been announced that Josh Keaton will return, but this time he will provide the voice for the Amazing (Classic) Spider-Man. Christopher Daniel Barnes also returns to voice Spider-Man 2099.
