In this method I used to kill yahoo messenger as it keeps running under the processes, even after closing yahoomessenger completely or you can use this method to kill any hanged process in windows, through this way you can forcefully kill any process on windows instantly.
Here is how you can create a desktop shortcut to kill any process instantlyIn order to terminate the process instantly you will need to send some kill signal command using the some arguments with taskkill windows command, Follow the procedure below

1. Right click on the empty area of the desktop and select New >> Desktop shortcut

2. Now copy and paste the following path in the target box
C:\Windows\System32\taskkill.exe –f –im

For Example C:\Windows\System32\taskkill.exe –f –im YahooMessenger.exe

a. –f is for force kill and –im is to kill all instances of any process

USE INTERNET ON PC USING BPL MOBILE

Today I am going to write a post on how to connect internet using BPL mobile (Loop Mobile). My friends were asking me how to connect the internet using BPL mobile.
BPL mobile (Loop Mobile) provides a free internet connection you just have to follow the steps and you can also surf the internet.
So here we start:
Step1: Connect your mobile with PC using Data Cable or Bluetooth.
Step2: Click on Connect to internet

Step3: Now click on Configure.

Step4: Select your modem i.e. mobile, it will auto detect, click on nextNow select configure the connection manually and click on next.Step5: Under the access point type “mizone” and under username field type your BPL mobile number and leave the remaining field blank.
Click on Finish.

Now connect the internet. your net is connetcted but your browser will not open any page.
Now we have to setup proxy setting in browser.

Now Open Internet Explorer and go to tools-->Internet Options-->Connections

Then select your modem and click on Setting new dialog box will appear Now click onUse proxy server for these setting and type the proxy address

Address: 10.0.0.10 Port: 9401

Now in the last click on Advanced and click on Use the same proxy server for all products then click Ok, and Ok.

Now you can surf the internet in IE. Enjoy....

To add to the category of windows mobile phone application is another application called Http Remote. The name of the application speaks quite a lot about itself and very rightly it does what it is supposed to do. You can control your computer with windows mobile phone application over internet by doing a simple configuration on both the pc and mobile device side.

What Http Remote does is that it provides you are remote like interface for your computer and it communicates with your computer using wireless technology. So in order to get this application working you are first required to install the pc client in your computer and then run it. It will then show an ip address; put that ip address in your mobile phone client and the connection to your computer will be made.

However to connect to your pc you should use any mobile phone web browser that is W3C compatible preferably skyfire or opera or whatever your choice is. There have been some issues reported with the application and most of them pertain to the installation aspect. Many have found it difficult to install and the error they get is Midilet error. If that’s what you are getting then it simply means that your phone is not supported.

This application should work on almost all the devices that have web browser support and this includes PSP. So if you have a PSP then also you can control your computer wirelessly. Overall it’s a nice application to use and try.

NTFS Undelete – Recover Deleted Files On NTFS File System

NTFS Undelete is a free program which lets you recover any deleted file on your hard drive, it will recover irrespective of file has been emptied from recycle bin or you had press shift+delete to delete the file.

It will not only recover the deleted and erased files from NTFS file system but also from other file system in windows including FAT and FAT32. But before you use this tool for recovery you should better know what happens when you delete a file on your computer.

When you delete a file, its content remains physically intact but the space occupied by the file is marked as free and can be allotted to any new file created. So the next file created/copied/saved to disk can overwrite the content of the deleted file and make it very difficult for you to recover that file.

Note: It is very important that no application writes on the hard disk partition from where the file has been deleted and small new file can create problems.

Follow the procedure below to recover the files that has been deleted

1. Do not open or close files and applications on your computer as many applications create temporary files

2. If the file has been deleted on the C drive you should not install NTFS Undelete on the C drive which is the default location for installation

3. If you have only partition on your computer you should not install NTFS Undelete you can download the ISO image of NTFS Undelete program but remember to use another computer to burn the image to cd or dvd

4. If the deleted files are not on the system drive on your computer, then you can download NTFS Undelete Windows Installer Program

PowerOff is a free to use tool which lets you power off any computer connected to your network from anywhere, however in order to power down any computer of your network the username with which you are logon has to be part of the local administrative group.

This is actually a command line utility, the executable should be placed in C:/windows to install and add it to the windows command, or just browse to any directory where the program executable poweroff.exe is placed.

It has two major parameters which are very crucial when you launch poweroff command for any computer on your network.
The first parameter is /h which means if you add this parameter it will close all the application before and make sure that at the time of poweroff non of the applications is running. Another parameter is /f which means it will forcefully stop all the running applications before initiating power off.

Syntax: poweroff /h /f <computer name you want to poweroff>
