PageRank - Is It Getting Old?

There is a lot of discussion about how useful is the PageRank nowadays, and if is it worth the entire headache.
The answer: for sure it worth!
PageRank or PR is method used by the search engines like “Google” “Yahoo” and others to make some order in their listening. But if someone think about the fact that these search engines are updating their PR database every 3-6 month, keeping in mind that millions of pages are indexed daily, it will be hard to figure out the “tomorrow” of any website.
Also we know that Pr is based on how much backlinks your site has, and it also known that Google like gossipy. This means more people talking about your site (backlinks) more it becomes celebrity in the search engines.
Ok everyone can consider this success, but this kind of success is very fluctuating as much as the PR is very instable. This is no more surprising, because we have seen very big sites with high PR falling down 3-5 ranks.
The so special thing is that very rarely we can see sites going higher with this rate.
Good PR helps a lot in sites and blogs marketing and business,
Also you can see a lot of time that your site for some keywords are listed in search result before big and well known sites, that’s exciting I know it, because it happen to me a lot of times on my fun blog station, and here you will ask yourself: Do my site have better PR than Wikipedia?? Ohh no, you don’t, but this why PR is not very reliable in search engine listing, and it why we talk today about Page Strength more than PageRank.
We will talk about it in the next post and for now let’s make it little bit clear: What doesn’t harm is useful!

A lot of bloggers think that widgets are very useful. Difficult to do not agree with them when most of the visitors of blogs are lazy even to scroll the pages, let alone writing comments …etc. And widgets except of their “esthetic “role, they help making blogs somehow alive and easy to use. By this way your visitors interact with your blog easier. One must pay attention to a very important thing: “over widgets syndrome”.
This syndrome is very common especially in empty blogs. And in place that widgets help, they disturb. And of course your visitor will leave ASAP.
So keep in mind to use useful widgets especially those related to directories, making this way double function: bring visitors from them and give them others. Of course this is good for your visitors, for directories and for you! Don’t forget that widgets are helpful when they are useful not when they are a lot, and also stay updated.

Yesterday, when reading my mail, I was surprised by mail questioning me:
When can I consider that my blog is successful?
What is the difference between blogger professional and amateur?
And like I believe: Easy questions are very difficult to answer!
For the first one, talking about blogs and not websites, we can say that success is when you start blogging, I mean when you just type your address like http://gooblogle.blogspot.com/ and the page opens in front of your eyes with the content you wanted to share. This is the first “blogger's success”. And from then, everyone defines his goals concerning blogging, and he who achieves them, or some of them, can talk about “blogging success”. I have seen some closed blogs, limited to family or some friends or to 1 person, and no one can say they are not successful.

For the second question, I think it's hard to talk about pro and amateur in blogging, because what makes blogs so popular is that everyone can be blogger.
Most of blogs don't need any design, they are ready to use. They also don't need any hosting skills, because they are already hosted. But you'll tell me stop I have my blog with my own template and hosted on paid hosting site with my own domain. Ok. This is not professional blogging, but it's somehow more free and independent blogging. A lot of us try to get out from Blogspot, WP or any other to be more free to tweak there blogs, and until now noone can say that in this way they have more success!
So, if you are starting you blog, and blogging about something you like, and not copy/paste from others posts, this is already success. Rather than pro and amateur, I would like to use OLD and BEGINER bloggers. So if you are not the first blogger you are always beginner and will always find articles about blogging tips and tricks and learn a lot of new skills.

Hello bloggers,
A lot of you know very well what SEO is and how important it is,
and not only for bloggers. And i'm sure also, a lot of you don't even know it exists, or what it means.
Ok, First of all SEO is very easy to
understand but difficult to apply.
It's Search Engine Optomisation ,
which means (SEO) is how they "SEEYOU!
Lets do it more easy for everyone: All search engines have masculin philosophy
(logical), you submit you site/blog
to them and you are there,may be quicker than expected. You exist!
But this is all what you get.It's not bad if you don't care about
traffic, but if you do, the next step is :

1)that you must do some makeup ( Meta Tags, clear titles, Image Optimization)
2)show it what you have and where it is, because they are little bit lazy
to find it ( sitemaps)
3) They dont like a lot of talking ( Use tags and keywords)
4) No secrets (don't use hidden text)
5) They want to know what friends you have (Link to other blogs)
6) they don't trust you until they hear from your friends ( backlinks)
7) They need a lot of.......( Forget about 1post/ day, more you post, more you attract them)

...etc. My listing will never finish, so here are some articles about SEO,
there are a lot of them, try them ,apply them, mix them, I'm sure you will get
good result but it will never be enough, so stay close to gooblogle!
