After his short stop in Zwolle, Kolden has been redeployed to Sweden. After a pleasant flight on which he had the honour to be part of a pilot's first landing, he travelled on to Stockholm where he was received by Christer Lindqvist; our Swedish correspondent.

Olim’s name starts with the third letter of KYOTO. Like the other GNOMEDIARIES gnomes, Olim is named after one of the letters off the Kyoto Protocol.

Olim is the third GNOMEDIARIES travelling gnome and has started his journey in Olympia, WA - U.S.A. on April 10th 2008. You can read more about Olims release in the "Olympia welcomes 3rd travelling gnome with environmental message" news item in the Ambassador News section..

March 6th 2008. Yesterday we saw, like a lot of vacationers like to do, Yaldor reading a book. It appears to be “THE KYOTO PLOT” written by Ruben van Dijk, first book of a new Dutch genre called eco-thrillers that was recently started by publisher A.W. Bruna in the Netherlands.
