White lions are the same as any other lion, but with white fur. They are of the feline species, so they run around on four legs, have short pointed ears and cute little faces. They look like really big cats. Here are some interesting facts about White Lions :

1. White Lions are not albinos, but a genetic rarity unique to one endemic region on the globe: the Timbavati region.

2.The Genetic Marker that makes White Lions unique has not yet been identified by science.

3. The White Lions are currently classified under the general species classification Panthera leo,
although this is likely to change after the genetic research undertaken by the Global White Lion Protection Trust reveals important reasons for sub-speciation of this rare phenotype.

4. The earliest recorded sighting of white lions in the Timbavati region was in 1938. However, the oral records of African elders indicate that these unique animals survived in this region for many centuries.

7. In 2004, after 12 years of technical extinction of the White Lions in their ancestral homelands, the WLT commenced its reintroduction program. Today, the organization has successfully reintroduced 3 prides of integrated White Lions to free-roaming conditions in their natural endemic habitat.

They include white rabbits, white squirrels, white giraffes, etc. White coat color in animals could be due to a congenital disorder called albinism, which causes complete or partial loss of melanin in the eyes, hair and skin. Unlike albino lions, white lions have normal-colored eyes, lips, and paw pads. Just like the ordinary lions, white lions too have a golden to yellowish-brown eye color.

14. The white coat color of these lions is often attributed to a genetic condition called 'leucism'. It is said that such hair color is due to chinchilla mutation. This mutation results in deposition of lesser amounts of pigments along the hair shaft, resulting in a paler coat. 8 Sleeping Positions And Their Effects On Your Health

Have you ever considered the importance of your sleeping posture? You may or may not have a preference, but your sleeping position can directly affect your health.

While the best sleeping posture is generally considered to be sleeping on your back with your arms by your sides, here are eight common sleeping positions and their effects to help you discover how the way you sleep affects your well-being.

1. ON YOUR BACK WITH ARMS AT SIDES

Sleeping on your back with your arms to the side is generally considered to be the best sleeping position for spine health and your neck, so long as you do not use too many pillows.

This position makes it easy for your head, neck, spine and provides support for the entire musculoskeletal system. The pillow should touch the shoulders, otherwise you run the risk of not supporting the cervical spine and neck muscles.

That said, back sleepers tend to snore more than those in other positions and may be more prone to sleep apnoea.

2. ON YOUR BACK WITH ARMS RESTED UPWARDS

This so-called "starfish" position is also good for the back. Whether you have your arms up around your pillow or not, sleeping on your back may also help to prevent facial wrinkles and skin breakouts.

However, Sleeping with your arms above your head is something you should never do, according to Dr. John Gillick, author of Sleep Smart. There are at least two problems with this posture. First, arms extended over the head raises the shoulders into the neck and causes cramps, poor circulation and pain. It also compresses the brachial nerve that travels from the neck down to the arms and hands. Second, when the nerves are irritated, they are either inhibited or excited.

3. FACE DOWN

Sleeping on your stomach can improve digestion, but unless you have developed a way to breathe through your pillow, it most likely leads to you tilting your face in one direction or the other.

Sleep professionals agree that belly-sleeping is the worst position anyone can sleep on. In this position, the spine falls flat, the neck is hyper-flexed and pressure is exerted on the nerves along your arms. You cannot take a deep breath because your body’s weight will compress the lungs and prevent full expansion.

What’s more is this posture exerts unnecessary pressure on the breasts, joints and muscles which can lead to numbness and pain. And unless you have mastered breathing through a pillow, you are most likely to face in one direction for hours and end up with a stiff neck the next day.

4. FETAL POSITION

Sleeping curled up into a ball with your knees drawn in to your chest and your chin tilted down may be comfortable, but it can strain your back and neck.

The extreme curl of the fetal position can also restrict deep breathing. That considered, sleeping in a fetal position could have you sleeping like a baby if you experience problems with snoring or if you are pregnant. This position is not for persons with an arthritic back.

5. ON YOUR SIDE WITH ARMS AT SIDES

When you sleep on your side with both arms down, the spine is best supported in its natural curve. This can definitely help reduce back and neck pain, while also reducing the risk of sleep apnoea.

The downside is that sleeping on the side can contribute to skin ageing due to gravity, meaning facial wrinkles and sagging breasts.

6. ON YOUR SIDE WITH ARMS OUT

Another variation of the side-lying position, the yearner involves sleeping on one side with arms reaching out. This position has many of the same benefits as sleeping on your side with your arms positioned straight down.

However, any side-sleeping can cause shoulder and arm discomfort due to restricted blood flow and pressure on the nerves, which may be exacerbated by having your arms out in front of you.

7. ON THE RIGHT SIDE

If you are a side-sleeper, the side you sleep on also makes a difference. Sleeping on the right side can worsen heartburn, while sleeping on the left side can put strain on internal organs like the liver, lungs and stomach (although minimising acid reflux).

For pregnant women, doctors typically advise sleeping on the left side, since this can improve circulation to the foetus.

8. PILLOW-SUPPLEMENTED

Regardless of which sleeping position you prefer, it is highly likely that you can get a better night's rest with less pain in the morning by supplementing your body with a pillow.

Back-sleepers can put a small pillow under the arch of their spine, side-sleepers can place a pillow between their knees and stomach-sleepers can place a pillow under their hips to support the joints to allow for full, pain-free relaxation.

Rule #1 Make sure you never stop in the middle of the entrance of a subway station or a busy sidewalk.

Rule #2 Pay back the money you owe as soon as possible and do not make the people feel uncomfortable by asking you for it.

Rule #3 Do not talk about your future plans in front of people who are not your close friends.

Rule #4 If you want to break up with your partner, do it in person. Avoid breaking up over messages or emails.

4. Pigs are much more tolerant of cold than heat. Pigs have no sweat glands, so they can't sweat. They roll around in the mud to cool their skin. The layer of dried mud protects their skin from the sun.

5. Pigs have a great sense of smell. Their powerful but sensitive snout is a highly developed sense organ. Pigs also have a great field of vision, because their eyes are on the sides of their heads.

Nikola Tesla was one of most outstanding physicists in the history of science. It is unfortunate that this genius and his works are often unspoken in the pages of history. He had more than 100 patents to his name and he was famous for developing AC. His work became the basis of developments in wireless communications, radar, laser X rays, lighting, robotics, and many other areas. So, let us look at some mind blowing facts about Nikola Tesla which you don't know :

1. He was born during a lightning storm. Nikola Tesla was born around midnight, between July 9 and July 10, 1856 during a fierce lightning storm. According to family legend, midway through the birth, the midwife wrung her hands and declared the lightning a bad omen. This child will be a child of darkness, she said, to which his mother replied: “No. He will be a child of light.”

2. Most people have no idea that Tesla had an extraordinary sense of humor.

3. Tesla allegedly had a photographic memory, and could memorize entire books.

4. Tesla built a tower intending to suck electricity out of the air. He built a 185-foot tower on Long Island, planning to suck electricity out of the air and send it through the earth to provide wireless power to masses. Unfortunately, it did not complete as it was demolished in 1917 to satisfy Tesla's debts.

5. Tesla rarely slept, and claimed he never dozed for longer than two hours. The inventor also said he once worked for 84 hours straight without any rest, according to John O'Neil, author of the book "Prodigal Genius: The Life of Nikola Tesla" .

6. Tesla ran into financial trouble with the world thinking he was insane. The transmission of voice, picture, and electricity was unheard of at this time. Tesla demonstrated the principles behind radio nearly ten years before Marconi. In 1943 the US Supreme Court ruled that Marconi's patents were invalid due to Tesla's descriptions of his work. Still, most references do not credit Tesla with the invention of radio.

7. He had the Idea for Smartphone Technology in 1901. In the race to develop transatlantic radio, Tesla described to his funder and business partner, J.P. Morgan, a new means of instant communication that involved gathering stock quotes and telegram messages, funneling them to his laboratory, where he would encode them and assign them each a new frequency. That frequency would be broadcast to a device that would fit in your hand, he explained. In other words, Tesla had envisioned the smart phone and wireless internet, Carlson said, adding that of all of his ideas, that was the one that stopped him in his tracks.

8. Tesla was known for high voltage experiments and demonstrations, including displays of his famous Tesla Coil which produces high voltage, low current electricity.

18. By 1898, he was demonstrating to the world the first remote controlled model boat at Madison Square Garden. Tesla wanted to provide free energy to the world and in 1900 began construction of a "Wireless Broadcasting System" tower on Long Island, New York. This tower was intended to link the world's telephone and telegraph services, and transmit pictures, stock reports, and weather information worldwide.

19. Tesla made the earth into an electric tuning fork by getting a steam-driven oscillator to vibrate at the same frequency as the ground. The result was an earthquake in the surrounding city. He had accurately determined the resonant frequencies of the Earth almost 60 years before science could confirm his results.

20. In 1899, he sent waves of energy through the Earth, thus providing the theory for earthquake seismic stations. By adding electricity to the returning energy he created the largest man-made lightning bolt ever recorded (130 feet). The accompanying thunder was heard 22 miles away and created a blue glow around the meadow outside his Colorado laboratory.

Live Animals Are Being Stuck Inside Tiny Plastic Keychains In China And Sold As Jewelry

There are many different ways that humans have abused animals for their entertainment. From putting them in circuses, to riding on their backs for entertainment, we have come up with countless ways to use animals for our amusement at their expense.

However, it has recently been revealed that a shocking trend in China has taken this to a new level, and it’s been going on for years. Keeping live animals in key chains as jewelry.

Vendors in China have been selling live animal keychains for years: small plastic bubbles containing trapped turtles, fish, salamanders and frogs.

This is an issue that CNN reported on back in 2011, however, the trend has still been going strong ever since, and little has been done to stop it.

They found that small fish, turtles, and other amphibians are being sold in small, plastic pouches by street vendors while they are still alive.

One of these live animal-filled pouches costs only around $1.50 and provides the animal with just barely enough room to squirm around.

According to the vendors selling these “trinkets”, the pouches are filled with a clear or colored oxygenated water that provides the animals with nutrients.

However, the animals can only survive in a few days in the pouch and will die if the customer does not release it early enough, something that they are not obligated to do.

These live animal pouches have caused outrage among animal activists in Asia and worldwide. Many of them have pointed towards the lack of animal protection laws in China to be the reason this is so prevalent.

Unfortunately it's not the first time animals have featured in unusual fashion trends. In South America, living beetles are covered in gems and worn as brooches. And earlier this year, a watch company unveiled a watch filled with live ants; after receiving widespread public backlash, the company said it was an early April Fool's joke.

15 Most Terrifying Things Ever Found in People's Basements

Creepy basements - they're a staple of horror movies, particularly in titles like The Silence of the Lambs and The Conjuring. But of all the scary basements featured on the big screen, nothing can compare to the real life horrors discovered by everyday people beneath their homes and businesses.

From mysterious wells, medical oddities, skeletal remains, animals, and even other people, this list of creepy things found in basements will surely raise the hair on the back of your neck.

1. An Ancient Burial Ground

When Helen Weisensel of Jefferson County, Wisconsin began digging in her basement whilst renovating her house she made a gruesome discovery. Weisensel had uncovered the skull of a child along with a wide assortment of other human remains. She notified the local authorities who discovered that her house was actually built on top of a long forgotten burial ground.

Experts estimated that the cemetery could have been up to 170 years old and may have contained the remains of hundreds of people. Weisensel had to cease all work on her renovations until she could get approval from the State Historical Society.

2. 1,200 Skeletal Remains in House Belonging to Benjamin Franklin

A home on Craven St. in London had a mass grave of over 1,200 skeletal remains, both human and animal, beneath the soil of its basement. They all dated back to roughly 1757- 1775 - exactly the time frame during which notable American founding father Benjamin Franklin lived there.

But this discovery did not reveal Franklin as a secret serial killer; rather, the home was used by William Hewson as a secret anatomy school. At the time, dissecting corpses, even for medical study, was illegal, so Franklin allowed his friend Hewson to use his basement as a literal underground medical classroom, where students could learn without fear of repercussions.

3. Creepy Dolls

From the outside Hanny’s located in downtown Phoenix, Arizona appears to be a normal restaurant and bar. When a reddit user found their way into the basement however, they posted this creepy photo of what they saw. Like a scene straight out of a horror movie, creepy dolls have been arranged along a large table, just like the famous painting The Last Supper, by Leonardo Da Vinci.

The building used to be an old department store but no one knows who set the dolls up or the reason for such an eerie scene. It looks as though someone has thrown coins onto the table, perhaps as an offering to appease the unsettling dolls.

4. Mysterious Well

When a new homeowner discovered a trap door in the basement of his new home, he was shocked to discover an 8-foot-deep by 4-foot-wide cement well filled with water. The well had no pipes or holes, which made it even more bizarre. After snapping some photos of his creepy discovery, he filled it in with stones and sold the house.

5. A Hidden Chapel

In September 2010, Pat and Diana Farla of Telford, Shropshire in England discovered a chapel hidden beneath their home that was believed to date back to the 1700s.

The discovery came about after the couple, having imbibed a little Good Friday cheer, decided to finally find out where the metal grate near their front door led. It's possible the hidden chapel served as a place of worship for persecuted Catholics.

6. Underground Prison

In 2013, Ariel Castro was arrested when authorities discovered that he’d been keeping women imprisoned in his basement as sex slaves. Between 2000-2004, three women ranging between 14-20 had all been kidnapped by Castro. They were discovered when neighbors heard one of the women calling for help.

7. 100-Year-Old Ouija Board

In 2016, a construction worker discovered a 100 year old Ouija board buried within the walls of a house he was working on. He noticed that it had been placed upside down leading some to speculate the person who hid it may have done so to protect themselves. Had they contacted something sinister from the other side and hid the board in an attempt to break contact?

The construction worker posted a photo of the board on Reddit where he was warned by readers to leave the Ouija board where he found it!

8. Mummified Remains

In 2010, two woman made an awful discovery while cleaning a basement in a Los Angeles apartment building. Inside a trunk, wrapped in newspaper from the 1930’s were 2 mummified infants along with several pieces of Peter Pan memorabilia including the book Peter Pan, written by J.M. Barrie and a membership card to the Peter Pan Woodland Club.

In a weird coincidence, the owner of the trunk was a nurse by the name of Janet M. Barrie, the same initials, J. M. Barrie as the famous writer. DNA tests proved that the infants were Barrie’s children but why they were stored away in the basement of an LA apartment remains a mystery. The truth may never be known as Barry passed away in 1994.

9. Gun Room

An Imugarian, going by the username JerryTheCunt, discovered that his new home had a hidden gun room in the basement. While he was doing the sorting, he noticed an oddly placed sheet of plywood when he was heading upstairs. Since he had not seen it before, he decided to move it.

Little did he know that the secret he was going to unveil was out of this world. Behind, there was an opening to a secret room that was spectacular and horrifying at the same time. There were numerous empty gun cases, user manuals, and a safe.

He had just stumbled upon an ‘armory’ that was full of weapons. In a different safe in the corner, there was ammunition, so much that it seemed the previous owner never wanted to run out of bullets. There were also a grenade and hundreds of pennies.

He went ahead and shared his findings on Imgur. That was back on October 8, 2015.

10. A WWII German Panzer Tank

In July 2015, a man in the wealthy German suburb of Heikendorf was found to possess a decommissioned World War II-era Panzer (Panther) tank, which he had stowed away in his basement.

He also possessed a German cannon and torpedo, and was apparently an avid collector of WWII arms. The tank was well-known in the town, with the mayor reporting the man was "chugging around in that thing during the snow catastrophe in 1978."

11. The Previous Owner

In 2007, a man named Jorge Giro purchased a house in the town of Roses, Spain. A local bank had repossessed the house from its previous owner and put it up for auction after they had failed to make their mortgage repayments.

When Giro entered the house he was shocked to discover that the previous owner was still there. She had passed away some years ago and the salty, seaside air had preserved her mummified corpse.

Bizarrely, in the 6 years that the previous owner’s mortgage was outstanding, the bank had never sent anyone to the house to investigate. Equally as baffling was the fact that the real estate agent hadn’t bothered to check the condition of the house prior to the auction.

12. Two Fetuses in Jars

Workers tasked with renovating an old building in Hannibal, MO uncovered two fetuses preserved in jars of formaldehyde in the basement. The discovery bolstered rumors that the property once housed an illegal abortion clinic established sometime in the early 1900s.

13. A Secret Roommate

Ohio State University students made a startling discovery in September 2013, when they found a locker in the basement of their house that led into a secret room, complete with textbooks and photographs on the wall. The room was apparently inhabited by "Jeremy," a complete stranger to the other residents of the house.

The matter was resolved peacefully - Jeremy simply vacated his sweet secret room. Still, the tenants have no idea how many keys to their home might be floating around town.

14. Strange Hidden Room

This discovery was made in 2014 by a Reddit user going by the username lmbrjack. He found a hidden crawl space that led to a locked door while he was poking around his attic.

The crawlspace led to an evil-looking door (that was locked), which led into a strange room. The room had all its walls, ceiling, and floor covered using soundproofing material.

lmbrjack also discovered a strange briefcase that contained envelopes with currency from different parts of the world, an old jewelry box, and four silver ingots that were one-ounce each. There was also a safe that contained six VHSC tapes though he was unable to play them. He later gave the tapes to the cops.

15. Dungeoun-Like Rooms

A man who had moved into a new apartment was surprised to find a trapdoor in front of his bathroom. The apartment was somewhere in Britain and had lovely wooden floors, high ceilings, and a loft. Like any other curious human, he decided to be adventurous and opened the door to unearth what was underneath.

At first, the man thought the room was not a big deal until he noticed stairs. It turned out the house had been built on an old English monastery and had passages underneath. These passages led to rooms that resembled dungeons. There was a complex system of paths that led down there, and it seemed as if his apartment had the entrance to this underground ‘vault.’ The owner was a Redditor going by the name demc7, and he went ahead to post the photos on Imgur. He even admitted that he thought it was a great deal.

14-Year-Old "Human Owl" Can Turn His Head 180 Degrees [Watch Video]

This is Pakistan's 'human owl' teenager who can turn his head 180 degrees to look directly behind him.

Muhammad Sameer, from the southern Pakistani city of Karachi, uses his hands to help rotate his head back over his shoulders.

Now the 14-year-old is hoping his unbelievable flexibility will land him a part in a Hollywood movie.

The teenager, who trains constantly to keep up his elasticity, said: 'I would have been six or seven when I saw an actor in a Hollywood horror movie turning his head to look behind him.

'It fascinated me. I started practising for it and within few months, I was able to it.

'My mother slapped me when she saw me doing this and told me never to do it again as I might end up hurting my neck but with time she realised that I'm God gifted.

My dream is to work like that actor in Hollywood horror movies.'

Sameer quit his studies and became part of a dance group, Dangerous Boys, to earn a living and help his family run the household affairs after his father fell ill.

His father Sajid Khan, 49, had suffered heart strokes twice and left working.

Mother Rukhsana Khan, 45, said: 'Sameer's father was working in a textile mill. But he had to stop working after he suffered heart strokes twice in a year.

'Since then he not keeping well and the whole responsibility of the family came on Sameer's shoulders.

'He is only a kid but we have no other option. I wanted him to study and make a name for himself but destiny had something else in store.'

Sameer along with eight other members of the dance group performs at dance shows across Karachi.

For every show, the talented boy earns between £6 to £10.

Sameer explained: 'I can make around £100 to £120 every month.

'I work so that I can support my family. I don't want that due to lack of resources my four sisters do not have to quit studies.

He has found several fans in his dance group and never shies away from showing his incredible talent.

Asher Khan, lead dancer of Dangerous Boys, said: 'I was shocked when I first saw Sameer's ability to rotate his neck and shoulders. He is incredible.

'He is extremely flexible and I am sure he will go a long way if he gets proper training.'

Sameer added: 'I am working on my dance skills, gymnastic stunts and acting skills as well in order to find better work opportunities to support my family and fulfil my dream. I hope to show my talent in big screens someday.'

Love them or hate them, life hacks have become so engrained in our online lives that there are sites and videos dedicated to sharing these hacks (or debunking them).

In this compilation, we want to share with you 40 of our favorite tech life hacks. You might have heard of some of them, but it doesn’t hurt to know more of them. Here we go :

1. DYI cord/cable holder

LEGO mini-figs are perfectly shaped to hold your Apple lightning cords and other cables. Just stick a LEGO brick on your work desk, then attach a mini-fig, and run your cords through its hands. Yeah, you can thank us later.

2. Download YouTube videos

You can download any YouTube video just by typing "ss" before the "youtube" part of a video's URL link in your address bar.

3. Search YouTube without going to YouTube

Searching YouTube has never been easier than it is with this trick: when using the Google Chrome browser, you can type YouTube.com into your address bar, then hit tab, and search YouTube directly from your address bar. Gone are the days of actually going to YouTube to find something.

4. Make a font from your handwriting

This one is for the font junkies out there... A website called Myscriptfont.com can convert your own handwriting into a typeface you can download to your computer and universally use. There are actually several different ways to convert your handwriting into font, but we think this one is among the easiest.

5. Remotely log out of Facebook

Privacy tips are always worth a mention, especially when it comes to Facebook, considering everyone and their mother uses the social network. Have you ever checked Facebook on a strange device and then realised you forgot to log out? Never fear - you can log out still, remotely. Go to the “settings” drop-down menu on your Facebook, then select “security”, and navigate to “when you’re logged in”.

6. Never hit the period key again

Who knew you never actually have tap the period key on a smartphone? All you have to do is hit the space bar twice for a period, and the next letter will be automatically capitalised too.

7. Use your keyboard to scroll on webpages

This trick might be well-known, but we thought it was still worth including: Use the space bar to scroll down on any webpage. You can even hold the shift key and the space bar at the same time to scroll up.

8. Easily look up word definitions on your Mac

Macs have a handy shortcut that'll let you look up word definitions in a split second. To look up a definition, highlight any word you see, then press command+control+D, and a dialog box with the info will appear.

9. DIY cord protector

This is that hack we mentioned earlier for preventing your Apple charging cables and other cords from fraying: Grab the spring out of a ballpoint pen, then stretch it and wrap it around the part of the cord that tends to bend, and it'll keep it straight forever, thus stopping it from wearing down over years.

10. Quickly re-open a closed tab

If you just accidently closed out of an important tab in your browser, you can easily re-open it by pressing command+shift+t on a Mac or control+shift+t on Windows PC.

Whenever you need to study for an important exam in college or high school, just google “site:edu [subject] exam”, and then you’ll get links to tonnes of sample exams with solutions and everything.

The health freaks out there will certainly love this trick: Google search “[food] vs [food]” to compare nutritional values between any two foods. We tried it with orange vs apple, for instance, and got this.

18. Unmask your password

When visiting a login page of any website, you can view masked passwords with a simple hack. Just right-click the password box, and then select "Inspect Element" to bring up the developer console. Find the line that starts with "input type=password", then change the word "password" to "text", and you will see your password.

This is handy hack should you think you're accidentally typing in a password wrong several times and want to check how you're typing it in the password field.

19. Download audio from YouTube videos

You can download audio from any YouTube video too. Just put "listento" before the "youtube" part of a video's URL link in your address bar. Here's an example for Justin Bieber's Sorry music video:

At a restaurant, a cockroach suddenly flew from somewhere and sat on a lady. She started screaming out of fear. With a panic stricken face and trembling voice, she started jumping, with both her hands desperately trying to get rid of the cockroach - Her reaction was contagious, as everyone in her group also got panicky.

The lady finally managed to push the cockroach away but ...it landed on another lady in the group. Now, it was the turn of the other lady in the group to continue the drama. The waiter rushed forward to their rescue.

In the relay of throwing, the cockroach next fell upon the waiter. The waiter stood firm, composed himself and observed the behavior of the cockroach on his shirt. When he was confident enough, he grabbed it with his fingers and threw it out of the restaurant.

Sipping my coffee and watching the amusement, the antenna of my mind picked up a few thoughts and started wondering, Was the cockroach responsible for their histrionic behavior? If so, then why was the waiter not disturbed? He handled it near to perfection, without any chaos.

It is not the cockroach, but the inability of the ladies to handle the disturbance caused by the cockroach that disturbed the ladies.

I realized that, it is not the shouting of my father or my boss or my wife that disturbs me, but its my inability to handle the disturbances caused by their shouting that disturbs me.

Its not the traffic jams on the road that disturbs me, but my inability to handle the disturbance caused by the traffic jam that disturbs me. More than the problem, its my reaction to the problem that creates chaos in my life.

Lessons learnt from the story : I understood, I should not react in life, I should always respond. The women reacted, whereas the waiter responded. Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of, just and right to save a situation from going out of hands, to avoid cracks in relationship, to avoid taking decisions in anger, anxiety, stress or hurry.

Woman was filmed dragging her 'child' along pavement. Now she comes with her side of story.

A woman who was filmed apparently dragging her young child along a pavement in Liverpool with a lead has explained why she did so, and said she is “not a bad mum”.

The incident was captured on film by a passerby, who said that despite the child being on its back as it was dragged along, it appeared to be “fine”.

The woman, who has not been named, told the Liverpool Echo her son is autistic and that sometimes it is the only way to move him.

"My son has autism, he has meltdowns and throws himself on the floor,” she said.

“What I am doing in that video is the only way I can move him.

“He does it all the time and won’t get up or let me pick him up.

“He just drops to the floor like a sack of spuds.”

Many viewers suggested the child could be a doll, but Joe Cain, who witnessed the incident told the Liverpool Echo that people nearby seemed more affected than the young boy.

He said: “Basically, I was walking through town and the kid fell over and then the woman saw the kid had fallen but kept on walking.

“The kid seemed fine with everything to be honest, it was people who saw it that seemed worse off.

“She walked on like that for a while.”

Before the video was deleted from Twitter, it had been viewed thousands of times, and many people had commented asking why someone hadn’t intervened.

But the 31-year-old mother said she was angry at the suggestion her son had fallen over and she hadn’t helped him.

“People are making me out to be a bad mum. I am not a bad mum,” she told the Echo.

“They should ask before they judge me. Only two women came up to me and I said ‘he has severe autism’.

“And I would have told that to anyone who asked me, but people just stare at me and him and judge and think he is ‘not normal’.

“He is normal he just has autism.”

She added: “I can’t go out very often because he has these meltdowns. He doesn’t like big crowds and whenever I take him out he could just kick off.

“People don’t understand how hard it is having an autistic child, especially when they are so strong.

He has attacked me before and knocked me off my feet, but he doesn’t know he is hurting me.

“I have the reins on him because he has no sense of danger.

“I try my best and people that know me, know that I am a good mum.

“People should just ask before they judge.”

Little Charlotte was born completely deaf.

Her parents are still at a loss as to the reason — neither Christy Keane nor her husband has a family history of hearing loss and as Mom wrote on Instagram, nothing can really prepare you for such news.

But the couple was okay with it. Their daughter was perfectly theirs.

We are thrilled to announce the birth of our second little bluebird Charlotte Ruth Keane, born August 2, 2017 at 1:20 am. 5lb 6oz & 18 in of pure sweetness! She made a very quick debut and looks just like her big sister! The only sad part about the news was as Christy put it, “she never heard me tell her how much I prayed for her when she was in my belly, she never heard me welcome her in to the world, she’s never heard me sing her to sleep-and the hardest to handle- she’s never heard me say ‘I love you.'”

So I am ready to open up publicly about something our family is dealing with- our sweet Charlotte is deaf (bilateral profound congenital hearing loss). We don't know why or have any answers beyond that at this time, but we have taken the last few weeks to process the information. Neither my husband nor myself have a history of hearing loss in our families and nothing really prepared us for this news but WE WILL ALL OVERCOME. This is shocking news, but it's not sad news. This sweet baby is beautiful and healthy and so capable of achieving everything she wants in life and we will make sure that happens! I would absolutely LOVE to connect and hear from any families who have been through this as we have no idea what to expect. Moving forward- Charly will be fit for her hearing aids in two weeks which will not make her hear but will get her brain and auditory nerve used to vibrations and stimulation as we wait to undergo surgery for cochlear implants (in about a year). But that all changed recently. Since she’s just a few months old, Charly is still too young for cochlear implants, so doctors fitted her with hearing aids instead.

When Mom started talking to little Charly, her face lit up.

Then Christy got to say those three little words — I love you.

Tears started welling up in the little girl’s eyes, and it was clear she knew just how loved she really was.

Christy wrote on Facebook: “We had our miracle moment that I have been praying for when Char got her hearing aids today. We didn’t think she would hear anything so this was more incredible than I can put in to words!” She explained on Instagram, “Imagine our surprise and delight when she gave us such heartfelt emotion.”

Just in the last week, Christy’s video has gone viral, receiving more than 10 million views and over 200,000 shares. That’s a lot of love — hopefully, it spreads to other parents facing similar issues.

WhatsApp finally lets you 'UNSEND' messages you’ve sent by mistake. Here's everything you need to know about the new feature.

Most of us have sent at least one text or image we later wished we could take back.

And thanks to WhatsApp's latest update, that wish has now become a reality.

WhatsApp has introduced a new 'delete for everyone' feature, allowing users to unsend an embarrassing message within seven minutes of sending it.

The feature is currently rolling out to users on Android and iOS, although it is unclear how widespread and quickly the launch will take place.

Here is what Whatsapp's FAQ page says :

To delete messages for everyone

Deleting messages for everyone allows you to delete specific messages you have sent to either a group or an individual chat. This is particularly useful if you sent a message to the wrong chat or if the message you sent contains a mistake.

Messages you successfully delete for everyone will be replaced with "This message was deleted" in your recipients' chats (*). Similarly, if you see "This message was deleted" in a chat, it means that the sender deleted their message for everyone.

You can only delete messages for everyone for up to seven minutes after sending. Once seven minutes have passed, there is no way to delete messages for everyone. To delete messages for everyone:

Note: In order for messages to be successfully deleted for everyone, both you and your recipient must be using the latest version of WhatsApp for Android, iPhone or Windows Phone.

Recipients may see your message before it's deleted or if deletion was not successful.

You will not be notified if deleting for everyone was not successful.

Information you should know about the recall feature:

· If you want to delete for everyone a message that has been quoted, note that WhatsApp doesn’t recall the message contained in a quoted message, at the moment.

· It’s not possible to delete for everyone messages sent in a Broadcast List. · Be sure to be fast, because you can delete for everyone messages within 7 minutes, after witch you won’t be able to revoke them.

· It’s very necessary that the recipient has the latest WhatsApp update installed in order to get the delete for everyone operation working, otherwise it will fail.

WhatsApp took care to make the delete for everyone feature working for older versions too, but obviously it won’t work if the other user has a very old version where Delete for Everyone hasn’t been implemented yet. This can be a reason why they were waiting so much time to enable the feature.

· Be careful to send messages that you want to delete for everyone to symbian users. WhatsApp for Symbian does not support the delete for everyone feature, so if you will delete for everyone a message that has been delivered to a Symbian user, it won’t be revoked.

Note that WhatsApp won’t notify you if the message was successfully recalled or if it is failed for the reason above mentioned, also if you read in the bubble “This message was deleted for everyone”, that is only a simple indication.

You may receive the activation of the feature at any time, but you should consider that the rolling out of the Delete for Everyone feature is very slow.

If the feature is already enabled for you, you will be able to use it also through WhatsApp Web/Desktop since now.

Feel like getting even more of what you want? Want to be more likable, more personable, and just generally sort of...better? We all know that serious self-improvement takes time, but what about a little instant gratification? Here are a few simple tricks for getting what you want.

We don't have to tell you that with great power comes great responsibility, but these are some tips for making your life a little easier at work, at home, and everywhere else.

1. Mimic people's body language to get them to like you

The next time you're trying to impress a hiring manager or the object of your affection, try subtly mimicking the way they're sitting and speaking - they'll probably like you more.

Scientists call it the " chameleon effect ": We tend to like conversation partners that mimic our postures, mannerisms, and facial expressions.

2. Ask people for favors when they're tired to get them to cooperate

An alert mind may express some doubt when approached with a request. Yet someone who's tired or distracted will likely be less critical, and will simply accept what you say as true.

So if you're planning to ask a coworker to help out with a project, it's best to ask at the end of a workday. That way, they'll be drained from the day's tasks and won't have the mental energy to realize that they'd rather be doing something else.

3. Scare people to get them to give you what you need

Research suggests that people who experience anxiety and then a sense of relief usually respond positively to requests afterward. For example, people who heard an invisible policeman's whistle while crossing the street were more likely to agree to complete a questionnaire than people who didn't hear anything.

That's possibly because their cognitive resources were occupied thinking about the potential danger they encountered, so they had fewer resources left to think about the request that was just posed.

4. If you'd like help carrying things

Just keep talking while handing people things if you need a little extra muscle. Many people will automatically take it without thinking (though some people won't, so be prepared for that, too --- especially if you're doling out valuables).

5. If you want to get information out of someone

Ask someone the hard-hitting questions, even if you know they'll try to get away with half-hearted answers. To break down that wall, maintain eye contact and remain silent for a few seconds when they finish speaking. The person will usually continue talking until they eventually get to what you want to hear. Keep in mind, though, that they might feel irritated if you try this, and they'll catch on if you do it too much. (Oh, and you may want to limit it to people you know well.)

6. Try asking for more than you actually need to get.

In order to make someone to have an authentic and willful desire to help you, ask them once to do something for you that they may not be capable of doing. Having been refused, you have created for yourself a person who will feel owing to you. Most likely, they will feel like helping you other times because they will have a guilty feeling of not being able to help in the first place.

7. If you want people to like you right away

Make sure your hand is warm when you go in for the handshake. It's way nicer than a cold handshake and will make you seem more likable from the start. It's also a good idea to subtly mimic their gestures and posture. It's been shown to build trust.

8. If you want to spot if someone is watching you

An easy way to tell if someone is watching you is to make yourself yawn, then see if anyone around you is also yawning. Yawning is contagious, so they'll likely yawn, as well, if they've been watching you.

9. If you want to sound even wiser than usual

People will take your advice more seriously if you make it sound like it comes from someone older, specifically your father or some other paternal figure.

10. Let them feel like they are making decision

For example, If you want your kids to eat broccoli, Go ahead and ask them if they want two or five stalks of broccoli instead of asking them if they want broccoli. Thus, you’ve made your mind and chose broccoli for their lunch, but they feel like they have really made their own decision. You can use the same old trick in different situations.

11. If you want to avoid confrontation

Step into that upcoming staff meeting and sit yourself down right next to the person you think might lay into you. It's awkward to be aggressive towards someone sitting so close (for most people, anyway), so chances are, they'll be less confrontational.

12. Nod often if you want people to agree with you

Nod your own head while asking a question if you want the other person to go along with what you're saying. The other person will be more inclined to agree when they see that gesture, and may begin nodding, as well.

If you're going to use these tricks, remember to do so responsibly -- and for the love of adorable baby kittens, don't be too obvious about it!

14. If you want to influence someone's word choice

Whenever the person you're talking to says the word or words you're looking for, smile or give some kind of nonverbal positive affirmation. They'll start saying that word much more frequently.

15. Use a 'decoy' option to get people to buy your product

In his TED Talk , behavioral economist Dan Ariely explains the " decoy effect " using an old Economist advertisement as an example.

The ad featured three subscription levels: $59 for online only, $159 for print only, and $159 for online and print. Ariely figured out that the option to pay $159 for print only exists so that it makes the option to pay $159 for online and print look more enticing than it would if it was just paired with the $59 option.

In other words, if you're having trouble selling the more expensive of two products, consider adding a third option whose only function is to make the "expensive" product look more enticing.

16. Speak quickly to get an argument opponent to agree with you

How you communicate your ideas can be just as important as the substance of your argument. Research suggests that when someone disagrees with you, you should speak faster so they have less time to process what you're saying.

17. Confuse people to get them to comply with your request

The "disrupt-then-reframe" technique is a sneaky way to get people to cooperate.

One study found that when experimenters went door-to-door selling note cards for charity, DTR helped them make twice as much money as when they simply told people they were selling eight cards for $3. In the DTR scenario, they told people it was 300 pennies for eight cards, "which is a bargain."

18. Use nouns instead of verbs to get people to change their behavior

Participants in one study were asked two versions of the same question: "How important is it to you to vote in tomorrow's election?" and "How important is it to you to be a voter in tomorrow's election?" Results showed that participants in the "voter" condition were more likely to cast their ballots the next day.

That's likely because people are driven by the need to belong, and using a noun reinforces their identity as a member of a specific group.

19. Focus on what your bargaining partner is gaining to get them to agree to your offer

While negotiating, research suggests you should emphasize to your partner what they're about to gain as opposed to what they're losing . For example, if you're trying to sell a car, you should say, "I'll give you my car for $1,000," instead of, "I want $1,000 for the car."

That way, you'll persuade your partner to see things from a different perspective, and they'll probably be more likely to concede.

20. Tell them they're free not to comply

It might sound counterintuitive, but reminding people that they have the option not to do what you want can often motivate them to oblige your request.

A recent review of studies highlighted the effectiveness of the " but you are free " technique: Reaffirming someone's freedom to choose can double the chances that they'll do what you want, whether that's donating to a specific cause or taking a survey.

A team of university scientists has developed the world’s first artificial kidney technology to be implanted in the body. Their bio-hybrid approach uses living kidney cells in tandem with a series of specialized microchips powered by the human heart to filter waste from the blood stream.

The average patient spends 3.6 years waiting for a viable transplant, and may be treated with dialysis while they wait, but only one in three dialysis patient survives longer than five years without a transplant.

Transplanted organs from deceased or living donors must be carefully matched in order to avoid tissue rejection, but an artificial solution could potentially bypass these complications and be manufactured to better meet the demand. To address this unmet need, William Fissell from Vanderbilt and Shuvo Roy from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) launched The Kidney Project.

“We can leverage Mother Nature’s 60 million years of research and development and use kidney cells that fortunately for us grow well in the lab dish, and grow them into a bioreactor of living cells,” explained Fissell in a recent article published by Research News @ Vanderbilt. Fissell described the device as a “Santa Claus System,” because it can reliably distinguish between waste chemicals and those nutrients a body should reabsorb.

It can be inserted through common surgery

The world’s first bionic kidney can be inserted in a body by a common surgical procedure and it has proved to work efficiently. It is now proving to be the perfect replacement for a damaged kidney. The bionic kidney consists of several microchips which is moved by the heart. The bionic kidney also filters out toxins from the blood in the same way as a normal kidney.

Members of the research team Shuvo Roy of the University of California and William H Fissel nephrologist and associate professor of medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center have said that the invention is all set to give hope to the millions suffering from kidney failure and who are on dialysis.

How will it work?

It is a microchip made in nanotechnology. Each kidney will have 15 microchips built one atop the other. They will act as filters, and they will hold living renal cells which will find its way to grow around those microchips. They will mimic the real kidney.

Well, the primary goal is a steady blood flow through the device. Engineers are working and testing every single detail of this device to make sure that the device can safely let the blood flow through it without clotting or damage anything.

So far, so good.

So far, this solution has proven to be much better than a transplant from a human donor. The rejection factor has been zero! The newest invention with renal cells is something completely new, and the prototype is the size of a coffee cup. It does everything just like the healthy kidney, and it even regulates the blood pressure, it filters all the toxins (like medications and food supplements).

Artificial kidneys are not a new thing. There have been some experiments in the past. Four years ago, a team of scientists successfully transplanted an artificial kidney to some animals. It started producing urine. However, scientists weren’t satisfied. That was an old idea.

They used an old kidney which they cleaned up from all the unwanted cells to get a mold similar to a hive. Then they reconstructed a kidney using donor’s cells. Lab tests confirmed that an artificial kidney could produce somewhere around 23% of urine. However, when they installed that kind of a kidney into a rat, it only got 5% of urine’s production. But that was just beginning.

Although there haven’t been any human trials (and will not be until the next year), scientists are assuring us that bionic kidney has a zero rejection factor.

China Lost Control Over Its 8.5 Ton Space Station, All Set To Crash On Earth Within Few Months

The 8.5-ton Chinese space station Tiangong-1 has accelerated its descent towards Earth, and is
expected to come crashing down to the surface within the next few months.

While most of the 12-metre (40-foot) laboratory will probably burn up in the atmosphere on reentry, chunks weighing up to 100 kilograms (220 pounds) could make it to Earth - and no one can predict where they're going to end up.

Launched in 2011, the 8.5-ton Tiangong-1 space laboratory had originally been a symbol of Beijing's ambitious scientific bid to become a space superpower.It was used for both manned and unmanned missions and visited by China’s first female astronaut, Liu Yang, in 2012.

The Tiangong-1 space station is capable of housing three astronauts but it's real purpose was to serve as a prototype station for China's forthcoming space endevours.

However, last year Chinese officials confirmed the country's first orbiting space station had to be scrapped after its functions failed following two years in space.

Since then, the space station known as "Heavenly Palace" has been gradually decaying and, in recent weeks, has accelerated its descent into the Earth's atmosphere.

“Now that perigee is below 300km and it is in denser atmosphere, the rate of decay is getting higher,” said Jonathan McDowell, a renowned astrophysicist from Harvard University and a space industry enthusiast.

“I expect it will come down a few months from now – late 2017 or early 2018.”

At present, scientists have no idea when or where the remains of the space station will land.

The chance that anyone will be harmed by the debris is considered remote but China told the United Nations “Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space” in May that it would carefully monitor the craft’s descent and inform the United Nations when it begins its final plunge.

Predicting where it is going to come down would be impossible even in the days ahead of its landing, McDowell said.

“You really can’t steer these things,” he said in 2016. “Even a couple of days before it re-enters we probably won’t know better than six or seven hours, plus or minus, when it’s going to come down. Not knowing when it’s going to come down translates as not knowing where it’s going to come down.” McDowell said a slight change in atmospheric conditions could nudge the landing site “from one continent to the next”.

There have been many uncontrolled re-entries of larger spacecraft and none have ever been reported to have caused injuries to people.

In 1991 the Soviet Union’s 20-tonne Salyut 7 space station crashed to Earth while still docked to another 20-tonne spacecraft called Cosmos 1686. They broke up over Argentina, scattering debris over the town of Capitán Bermúdez.

Nasa’s enormous 77-tonne Skylab space station came hurtling to Earth in an almost completely uncontrolled descent in 1979, with some large pieces landing outside Perth in Western Australia.

The country already has its successor - Tiangong-2 - in orbit around the planet.

Through this system we have the opportunity to grow and mature into responsible adults, secure in our knowledge of history, science, and mathematics.

1. Christopher Columbus discovered America in 1492

One of the biggest pieces of lie in the discovery of this great nation. The truth is that America was inhabited by nomadic tribes thousands of years ago who crossed the Bering land bridge from across Alaska. Historical and archaeological evidence supports several theories that the Vikings like Leif Erikson discovered Newfoundland in Canada which he named “Vinland” in 1000 AD. The only thing Columbus achieved was the colonization and conquest of natives. (Source)

2. Einstein Failed in Maths

The story we heard: Motivational speakers love to tell this tale, inspiring underachievers with the story of this German kid who was just like you! Despite his sincerest efforts he could never manage to do well in his math exams, and struggled desperately with physics while working as a lowly patent clerk.

Einstein was a mathematical prodigy, and before he was 12, he was already better at arithmetic and calculus than you are now. Einstein was in fact so smart that he believed school was holding him back, and his parents purchased advanced textbooks for him to study from. Not only did he pass math with flying colors, it's entirely possible that he was actually teaching the class by the end of semester.

When he was first shown this supposed expose of his early life, Einstein allegedly just laughed, and probably went on to solve another 12 mysteries of quantum physics before dinner. By the time he finally kicked the bucket in 1955, it's entirely possible that "failure" was the one concept that Albert Einstein had never managed to master. (Source)

3. Did Paul Revere actually say “the British are coming, The British are coming?

During Paul Revere’s famous midnight ride, he did not shout out “the British are coming”, he didn’t need to. It was just a dramatization of the famous event to make it seem more patriotic. Moreover, Paul Revere’s ride was an extremely discreet mission and you could hardly expect someone to give away himself now do you? (Source)

4. Columbus set out to prove the world was round.

If he did, he was about 2,000 years too late. Ancient Greek mathematicians had already proven that the Earth was round, not flat. Pythagoras in the sixth century B.C.E. was one of the originators of the idea. Aristotle in the fourth century B.C.E. provided the physical evidence, such as the shadow of the Earth on the moon and the curvature of the Earth known by all sailors approaching land.

And by the third century B.C.E., Eratosthenes determined the Earth's shape and circumference using basic geometry. In the second century C.E., Claudius Ptolemy wrote the "Almagest," the mathematical and astronomical treatise on planetary shapes and motions, describing the spherical Earth. This text was well known throughout educated Europe in Columbus' time.

Columbus, a self-taught man, greatly underestimated the Earth's circumference. He also thought Europe was wider than it actually was and that Japan was farther from the coast of China than it really was.

For these reasons, he figured he could reach Asia by going west, a concept that most of educated Europe at the time thought was daft — not because the Earth was flat, but because Columbus' math was so wrong. Columbus, in effect, got lucky by bumping into land that, of course, wasn't Asia.

The Columbus flat-earth myth perhaps originated with Washington Irving's 1828 biography of Columbus; there's no mention of this before that. His crew wasn't nervous about falling off the Earth. (Source)

5. Humans Evolved from Apes

In this scenario Christians have it right—but not the way they think. Early classes on evolution usually leave one basic impression: humans evolved from apes. Go to a zoo, and you can watch your genetic ancestors frolicking and flinging poop at each other.

But that’s not the way it happened. After all, evolution works by eliminating the inferior species while the stronger, better-adapted ones thrive. If that had happened then there wouldn’t be any apes left, because we would have outcompeted them. The more likely theory is that humans and the great apes—chimpanzees, gorillas, and orangutans—started with a common ancestor, and then evolved in separate directions over the years. Specifically: four, eight, and twelve million years ago, respectively.

And it’s still happening—in the animal kingdom, at least. Researchers believe that less than one million years ago the eastern and western gorillas parted evolutionary ways, and are now developing in different directions. (Source)

6. Diamonds Are Made from Coal

If you believe that diamonds are made from highly compressed coal, don’t worry—so does everyone else. But it’s completely false: diamonds are found in vertical shafts filled with rocks formed by volcanoes, while coal is mainly found among other types of rocks—like limestone and shale.

Coal is almost never found in the same type of environment as diamonds. Coal is formed near the surface from plant matter, while diamonds are formed in the Earth’s mantle—over ninety miles (145 km) closer to the core—and then carried up to the crust during volcanic eruptions.

It’s true that diamonds are formed from carbon by intense heat—2,000 degrees Fahrenheit (1,100 degrees Celcius)—and high pressure, but it’s unlikely that the carbon comes from coal. So while the idea of a lump of coal becoming a beautiful diamond makes a pretty picture, it’s still one big spoonful of lies.

7. Liquid Glass

The myth: old windowpanes are thicker at the bottom because glass is a slow moving liquid.

At some point in time, a historian looked at an ancient windowpane and noticed something unusual: the glass was thicker at the bottom than at the top. Since there was no other way to account for it, he came to the conclusion that glass was an extremely slow moving liquid that settled over the years, resulting in thin, brittle glass at the top that gradually thickened towards the bottom edge of the windowpane.

And then everybody believed him. The myth spread until even college professors were teaching it in their classes, since even scientists don’t understand science sometimes. But one researcher recently decided to test the viscosity (rate of flow) of glass, and came to the result that even the least viscous type of glass wouldn’t change much before 10^32 years—about three times the length of the existence of the universe. Though why we should believe him more than the first scientist is a bit of a mystery—effectively they are both making it up.

The real reason antique glass windows are bottom-heavy goes back to the way they were made in the Middle Ages. Window-makers would blow glass into a large sphere, then flatten it into a disk by spinning it. The spinning motion caused the edges of the disk to thicken, much like spinning a pizza dough. And when they cut the disk into windows, they placed the thicker side at the bottom for stability. (Source)

8. Vikings wear horned helmets

There is no evidence, archaeological or otherwise, that Viking warriors wore any type of horns or wings on their helmets. What we do have is one single piece of evidence, the ninth century Oseberg tapestry, suggesting a rare ceremonial use (the relevant figure on the tapestry may even be that of a god, rather than representative of real Vikings) and plenty of evidence for plain conical/domed helmets made mainly of leather. If you look closely at the inside of your wrist, you’ll probably see a small network of blue veins running up into your hand. Despite what they might teach you in elementary school, that’s not blue blood running through there. The myth is that deoxygenated blood is blue, while blood leaving the heart is red because it’s been filled with fresh oxygen. When you bleed, the blood is immediately red because it’s exposed to oxygen in the air.

But if you’ve ever given blood or had blood taken at the doctor’s office, you’ll know that it’s not some alien blue liquid filling up that sealed tube—it’s, well, it’s blood. The reason your veins look blue is a simple trick of the light, and the way your eyes perceive colors. When light filters through the layers of skin, the low frequency wavelengths (like red) are refracted by pigmentation and thin fat layers, leaving mostly blue light to reflect back to your eyes. An albino person will usually have red veins because of the lack of pigmentation in their skin. (Source)

Built over a coal mine, the city flourished until 1962 when a fire started. The locals weren’t particularly worried at first. But, 10 years later, several of them fell through burning cracks that suddenly appeared in the pavement. The authorities evacuated the town. Today, the city’s population amounts to 7 people.

Veijo Rönkkönen, a popular Finnish artist, was a shy person, and most of his works remained secluded in his own backyard. These strange sculptures are believed to be self-portraits, and he fitted many of his creations with real human teeth.
