People criticized the iPhone 5 because the usual verdict was that it is an upgrade of iPhone 4 basically. Nonetheless, compared to other Smartphones available in the market, iPhone 5 is truly superior. It runs on Apple’s own operating system, iOS 6 and has a screen of 4 inches. The touch screen has fingerprint resistant coating and has multi-touch display. It has an 8 megapixel camera at the rear and a 1.2 megapixel camera on the front.
There are various LG devices in the market but the Optimus G is one such Smartphone to covet. The device has 2GB of RAM and runs on 1.5 GHz quad core QUALCOMM Krait processor and it can store up to 32 GB of data. Some of the Optimus G devices have a slot for extending the memory till 64 GB. It runs on the latest Android operating system, it is 4G LTE compatible, has 13 megapixel rear cameras and 1.3 megapixel front cameras.

9. HTC First

Recently Facebook announced their own interface, the Facebook Home, and HTC First is the first ever Smartphone to install the Facebook interface. It runs on Android Jelly Bean and is compatible with 4G LTE network. Though the cameras are not that impressive and many users booing the Facebook Home itself, it will be too soon to discard this Smartphone from the market. It is a recent release and could become a more worthy contender in the next few weeks.

10. Samsung Galaxy S3

Even though Galaxy S4 is already in the market, the Galaxy S3 device hasn’t lost its charm at all. It is really an awesome device and deserves to be in this list. The Samsung Galaxy S3 device runs on Android 4.1, it is compatible with 4G LTE network and uses 1.4 GHz quad core processor. The device comes with either 16 GB or 32 GB of storage but it can be expanded till 64 GB of memory. It has S-Voice, which is similar to Apple’s Siri application and comes with a powerful HD screen.

All the above 10 Smartphones comes with variety of prices and other specifications. Do a bit of comparison shopping on eCommerce portals to get the best deal for any of the featured devices.

Every year, the gaming public waits with bated breath for those few core titles that will revolutionise the entire industry. The constantly evolving world of computer games is one of the rare industries that are keeping up with the evolution of digital hardware. Graphics quality, three dimensional 360 degree viewpoints and artificial intelligence are in a continuous growth phase. This is thrilling for gamers who have money in the bank for those upcoming titles, but it also has the effect of dating older games at a rapid pace. Last decade’s Elder Scrolls pales in comparison to last year’s Skyrim, leaving avid players with an obvious strategy for keeping themselves in the game.

Second Hand Marketplaces

Those old games that you’ve already played are the ideal way to make some cash selling stuff online.

While some gamers are too impatient to wait for last year’s games, the internet has made room for a more long-suffering group of players who prefer the thriftier experience of second hand options. This particular niche of buyers is looking to buy recent offerings that are not quite off-the-shelf. For such clients, certain sites omit the complication and time involved in online auctions by enabling secure cash sales.

Vintage Markets

Instant valuations of scanned items make it simple for inexperienced sellers to attach appropriate prices to their games. However, the vintage gaming world is pushing certain games far beyond what might appear to be a fair value. Certain gaming legends belonging to the past have gained massive price tags as retro gamers push up demand for some of the most revolutionary offerings of the last few decades. Nintendo’s arcade games and the first Atari consoles are the more obvious collectors’ items, but classic games such as the first Quake Arena, Resident Evil and limited edition Street Fighter III are also fetching prices lofty enough to pay for more than a few brand new games.

Some vintage systems have grown more rapidly than the DOW. Nintendo and Atari indices have spiked by up to 76% in the last three years. Since consoles have experienced a massive value thrust, these platforms’ game values have also risen steeply. If there were an investment fund for collectors’ games, they would be an excellent option to add to portfolios.

The Post-Atari Market

The games that fall under the vintage console market are fetching lofty prices, but many that followed more recently have become rare enough to gain value. Sellers who investigate PC and Mac games that are not available for download will be able to settle at a fair price for their well-played contemporary games.

The first RPGs of the Nineties may be rare, but many are available for download online. This could diminish their value from one perspective, but another group of buyers is still willing to pay more for genuine boxed copies of these types of games. Since discs age easily when exposed to the elements, those that have been well cared for can fetch high prices, giving you the profits you need for your glossy new release.

The gaming world has been abuzz the last few days as Microsoft has been sending invites to what is being called an XBox launch event later this month. Also, Microsoft acquisition of several domains names may prove to be an unintended reveal of the official name of the new Xbox.

Last week, Microsoft started to send invites to what is now being called by many as the Xbox 720 official launch event. The invitation simply reads “A New Generation Revealed. Don Mattrick and the Xbox team invite you tot he Xbox campus for a special unveiling.” The reveal will take place on May 21st and will be broadcast live on Spike TV, Xbox Live, and Xbox.com.

Gamers from around the world are itching to play games on the new console and find out what the new features will be offered in the finished product. The name for the project has not been released as of yet but the internet by and large has dubbed the new Xbox as the Xbox 720 while others have used the code name Durango. However, as Fusible pointed out on Tuesday that the Microsoft has registered several domain names with the pointing to the “Xbox Fusion.”

Researching some of the rumored names that have been floated for the new Xbox system, Microsoft only owns the .com addresses for XboxFusion.com, XboxNext.com, and XboxGold.com. With that said, the company has acquired numerous Xbox Fusions domains, including XboxFusion.info, XboxFusion.bix, XboxFusion,co.uk, and many more.

With the reveal set for May 21st, gamers only have a little over a couple of weeks left to wait for the new system. Considering that Sony is looking to get the PS4 into stores ahead of Christmas 2014, expect Microsoft to match suit and ramp up the complete release of the new system and once these two giant consoles hit the market, the arcade places and mobile phone gaming apps will get a run of their money.

Within few hours after Facebook Home arrived on Google Play, hackers from XDA forum have launched a modified version of Facebook Home that would remove the device-specific limitation. In other words, you can now use Facebook Home on any Android device. Facebook Home is currently available only to these devices – HTC One X, One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note II, and the HTC First.

The hack was performed by XDA Senior Member theos0o; who provides details and download links here. The hacker says there is no root needed for this hack. However you will have to uninstall original Facebook, Facebook messenger and Facebook home apps. If Facebook is pre-installed then you probably need root to remove it.

To download this modified version of Facebook home, please visit XDA Developers forum.
