Married Adventure Club (MAC)

The purpose of GCF’s Married Adventure Club is to build Marriages through Fun and Fellowship. We typically have 6 MAC events a year. Check out our church calendar and/or subscribe to Grace News to receive church event updates.

The next MAC event is on February 11th from 5-9pm. It's called 'Alfano's Valentines Dinner' and as always - it promises to be a blast! The cost is $35 per couple for a great fun evening. Child care is available. Sign up at the church as soon as you can.

Mens Camping Trip
We will be heading up Friday, February 24th and returning on Saturday, February 25th. You can arrive anytime after 12:00am on Friday and we will all be heading out at 5:00pm on Saturday. Men of all ages, join us for a one night camping trip @ Lakewood Retreat, in Brooksville. This will be great time to relax, have some fun, and be encouraged. If you’re a dude and not a dudette, come! Dads bring your sons; sons bring your dads! The cost will be $25 a person for both days, and $15 a person for just Saturday. This will cover the camping fee and our food on Saturday (breakfast & lunch), and all the eating utensils we may need!

Ladies Bible Study
Come along with the Ladies of Grace on a journey to get to know both the man and the Book of James. You will never be the same again. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. You will not want to miss it.

GCF Senior Adult Luncheon:
GCF wants to honor our seniors with a special once a month luncheon at the church. This time of fellowship will contain some entertaining old film shorts, a wonderful meal provided by your own church family, personal testimonies, and a short devotional from Pastor Randy. So, join us this Thursday, February 16th from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Please call for reservations @ 584-1015.

Blood Drive:

Sunday, February 25th, we will be having a blood drive at the church during the morning service hours. Please sign up to donate blood at church on Sunday. This is a tangible way to show the community we care. Come and join us.

Help with GraceKIDS:
The Bible is clear that the call of Christian parents is to teach their children the Gospel. As a church, we eagerly desire to support parents in this effort. In our Children’s Ministry we seek to do much more than simply provide childcare. Our goal is to provide an environment that is safe and fun, and with the Gospel as the defining emphasis of everything we do.

We are currently in need of some new helpers ready to love and serve our children in our children’s ministry. If you would like to serve once a month on Sunday mornings or every other Wednesday night, please e-mail Pastor Lucas.

Pastor Randy’s Tuesday Morning Bible Study:
Pastor Randy leads a Bible study on Church History every Tuesday morning from 9:30am to 10:30am. It's an hour long study of key ideas, figures, and doctrines and it's open to anyone who would benefit from an informative, yet laid-back Bible study. Please e-mail Pastor Randy for more info.

Rethink Student Ministry
Our Student Ministry is geared to Jr. High and Sr. High students. The goal of this ministry is to assist our parents in encouraging and leading our teens to live for the glory of God. Our Jr. High & Sr. High youth groups meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00pm – 8:30pm. Students are welcome to come as early as 6:30 to eat & hang out before youth group. (FYI - good cheap food is provided each Wednesday night.) Jr. High & Sr. High youth groups usually consist of worship, a game/activity, and a great Bible teaching. This is an exciting time for Grace Christian Fellowship as we help give birth to Grace Church in Dunedin, and as we see the Lord move within our own ranks in new and unique ways. With this in mind, we will be returning to one Sunday morning service starting on December 4^th at 10am.

With all of the new people coming to Grace in the past year, this will be a great new opportunity to 'gather the family together' under one service to rejoice in all that the Lord is doing among us.

Isaiah’s Inn Christmas Dinner – Dec. 4th

Isaiah’s Inn is a local ministry to displaced families that we support on a monthly basis. They thoroughly screen clients to provide financial counseling and funds to families who are working but have been in financial crisis. The families must show motivation to be independent and be willing to work towards that goal. This Christmas dinner (at the Highland Complex at 5pm) is a celebration of past and present families who have been blessed by the services of Isaiah’s Inn throughout the year. You will be blessed to celebrate with them and be “Jesus with skin on” for them to see.

The annual Christmas Craft Exchange is back – Thursday, Dec. 8^th at 7pm. This is a fun ladies fellowship to get us in the Christmas mood (and inspire us to use the creative side of our brains!) This is NOT a contest; it’s just a good time and a great opportunity to meet others. Everyone needs to bring one dessert or snack to share and one homemade Christmas craft to give away (not to exceed $20 value). Help with Isaiah’s Inn Christmas Gifts and Dinner

The Isaiah’s Inn Christmas Dinner will be on Sunday, Dec. 4^th. As always, the party/dinner will be held at The Highland Complex (400 Highland Ave. across from the Largo Police Station). If you would like to help bring food, assist throughout the evening, and/or assist with setup and takedown, please e-mail Becky Evans. We will be feeding over 500 people! So, we could use your help!

Here are the number of gifts still needed to be purchased:

Girls age 5-11 (16 children still available)
Boys Age 0-4 (18 children still available)
Boys Age 5-11 (10 children still available)
Movie passes for all the kids age 12-18 (30 teens still available and a check for $10 is all it takes to sponsor them!)
