A little Morning Run

A musical about the Stonewall riots is not the most obvious thing, but I really liked the show. In any case, I think I will give it a try, as I find it usually a lot easier to pull in real life if I want to (gosh, that sounds cheesy!) and certainly a lot more entertaining than hanging in front of gaydar/gayromeo... chats, getting bombarded with cock pictures and then having pretty much no fun afterwards.

After a long week back at work, I was really looking forward to a quiet weekend. Which in a way it actually turned out to be. Some of my mates wanted to go to Fitlads (@ Crash in Vauxhall) on Friday. I have been once and I didn't really like it there that much (it's a case of "it ain't what it says on the tin"), so I actually stayed in for a quiet night in... [on a related note, I am still confused if it is actually related to fitlads.net ??]
On Saturday I went to a party of a friend, which was a lot more interesting, especially as one of the guests was a rather attractive blond guy (don't usually like blond - but he was ...really fit...). The good news ... I have his number, though he seems a bit shy. Will keep you posted.
Somehow some of us (sans the blond guy....!) ended up in G-A-Y, heaven of the innocent clubbing experience,... and I have to say, with the right amount of alcohol and a bunch of friends that decide to sing louder than the sound system, it can be an amazing amount of fun there!

Nudity Closed?!

Really sad news: After the really great opening, it seems Nudity at XXL won't return on the 5th. As a statement on their website says:

"After a fantastic opening night, a rival club promoter has made a
very serious allegation about NUDITY and a personal allegation about
the promoter of NUDITY to the local licensing authority."

How vicious from the rival promoter. I went to the opening night and enjoyed it a lot. And now that Starkers has gone downhill, I was really looking forward to more Nudity events. Really hope they can sort this out fast.

Quiet start - lets get better?

Dunno why, but Startkers just didn't do it for me last night. It was ok, I had some fun, but somehow it was definitely not half as much fun as Nudity. Not sure if it was me or if anyone else felt like that?
Anyway, I think I'll probably see how XXL's birthdays bash is going tonight. Work was terrible this week - and I just need to relax a bit...
