Is there any way to change the url http://localhost/wordpress/download/http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.2/deu/AdbeRdr920_de_DE.exe to http://localhost/wordpress/download/AdbeRdr920_de_DE.exe or use the file name instead?

I don't want the visitors showing the original source

You are accessing your site via www.gumpalalla.se but your WordPress options put gumpalalla.se. With and without WWW makes a difference.

I am having a problem with remote files and the download url.

Wordpress Version: 2.8.5
Theme Name: Default Theme
Blog URL: localhost (XAMPP test environment)
Problem Plugin: WP-DownloadManager 1.5
PHP Version: 5.3.0
MySQL Version: 5.1.37
Possible Conflicting Plugins: no other plugins installed
Permalink Structure: http://localhost/wordpress/2009/11/sample-post/

I want to add a remote file to my download page, but this won't work while options are set to "Download Nice Permalink: Yes" a...

I have changed my permissions correctly in every folder and file and also checked my header.php.

It is not that straight forward to change that. If you are interested, you can check out $ratings_text in wp-postratings.php. As I said, it is not straight forward.

You need to place it in the loop not in the footer. So that means in page.php, archives.php, index.php, single.php

I am trying to use this plugin to allow a user to send the page to a friend no matter what page or post they are on.

I put the link in the footer but it doesn't work on pages. Is it even possible to do it this way?

It would sire be nice if it could work this way. Thanks for any input!

Hi everyone!

I know I have to give all that info about my website, but I think in this case it's not needed:

I've made a own theme which works alright, but i wanted to use this plugin, very easy to configure and in the demo it looked great, but with my own theme you only see the 'empty' stars, and there's no hover effect and i can't vote. When i set the default theme as my theme, it worked. Is there something you have to do to get it right with a theme you made all by yourself?

Hi,

First off, just wanted to say I really enjoy the WP PostRatings plugin you created. Nice work!

My question is this:

Can different rating templates be used on different pags?
I'd like to have just the star ratings displayed on post summaries on the homepage, but have the star ratings along with the vote count next to it (1 vote) on the full post. Can this easily be done? If so, how?
