I realize that I look cute in this old party dress and you cannot resist, but this is what I think of you following me around with that camera:

And when that doesn’t work, I’ll just have to switch to the puppy dog eyes.

Does anyone elses kitchen look like this when they cook?

In my own defense…the grill had just caught on fire and I had to rearrange what I was making. How did that cause a messier than usual counter? It didn’t, but I’m using it anyway.

The Big Bam.

So, tonight the 5 year old decided that she wanted to read her children’s Bible for bedtime stories.

So, she starts at the beginning. After reading a bit our conversation went a little like this:

5YO: “It doesn’t mention the Big Bam.”

ME: No, you’re not going to find that in the Bible.

5YO: Because they don’t know about it.

ME: No, I don’t think that’s why.

5YO: Because they both happened.

ME: Well, we can see how they go together.

5YO: Because God created the Big Bam.

7YO: Mom, can you take an action shot?

ME: Sure.

7YO: Good, because I’m about to hit Greer (the 5 year old).
